So today my daughter and I came into get her fingerprinting done since we are becoming foster parents. While we waited we saw customers being absolute jerks to the employees. One guy threw his card at one of the employees Devon cause he had been waiting in the line longer than he thought was appropriate. FYI Devon was doing 3 things at once, he was trying to help a customer on the phone, the mailman was there to pick up packages and he was helping the jerk with his package. The other worker Connie was doing 3 different people with fingerprinting and helping on another phone call. We were the last to be fingerprint since there was an error with fingerprint registration number. There was a horrible customer named Phillip that was so mean to Connie. He was upset she tried to help him save money by showing him the right envelope and he was berating her and basically calling her names. Like a true professional she smiled and let him be a jerk to her. I just want to commend the workers at this store cause they literally should not be treat so horribly but they do and they take it with a smile. read more

I was selling my 2 pit bikes and was in need of a notary after 6pm on Thursday 8/26/21 so I immediately use the Maps app to search for someone open. I came across this UPS Store which states open until 8pm. I called to make sure you didn't need an appointment and that there was indeed a notary on site. The lady who answered the phone confirmed so I hung up and made my way over there which was at least a 30min drive from me. Upon arriving there was 4 employees in the store all helping other customers and I would be next. A few minutes later a guy asks how can he help and I stated I was there for a notary. He asked how many signatures I needed and if I needed copies and I replied 2 and no. He said $20. I then proceed to hand him a $100 bill and he points to a sign on the wall that says no bills larger than $20 accepted. At that time that was all I had. Another gentleman walks up and takes the $100 bill holds it up to the light inspecting it and then tells me I would need to go get change elsewhere. Why even take the money out of my hand and look at it if your policy is no bills over $20 and then by inspecting it and giving it back are you insinuating it is fake? Anyway I am in need of the service like now and just drove really far so I hit a few other businesses within the strip mall and Chipotle breaks my $100. I go back in there and give the guy $20 and he's mumbling something under his breath and the other guy who sent me on a goose chase for change comes back over and we get into a back and forth and I told him if I didn't need this service right now due to their customer service I wouldn't even be giving them my business or my money. He hands me my $20 back and tells me to get out of HIS store. I asked him for his name because he is the only one not wearing a name tag and in plain clothes and he refuses to provide it. Now since it's HIS store I'm looking all over the walls for something with HIS name on it and he proceeds to call the police. I call the police as well because if they write a report his name will be on it. I'm waiting outside for the police and searching the notary page and would you believe there is no UPS Store listed as a notary in the entire zip code of 85051. Upon the police arriving they provide me "Victor's" name but would you also believe there isn't a single "Victor" in the notary base in the zip code of 85051 either? This "Victor" guy is a heavier set older black bald man who wears glasses. I am now filing complaints with both corporate of UPS and the AZ Secretary of State and inquiring if their notary is even valid. After reading other reviews on here it seems this business repeatedly treats customers poorly. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money here! read more

I called for directions and a very nice person answered and provided me with them. But when I came into the store, he was busy with a customer and another individual attempted to serve me. I was going to have them pack and send a package, but his style of communication was extremely negative. "We don't let the customers see how we pack," he said. "The box is big because that's the way we do it - it needs 3 inches around," and more. He would have been better off explaining company policy from the start and ask me if that's ok? Most likely, I would say, "Sure." But he made every step a problem. So I walked out and to the Fed Ex down the street. I had a much better experience with Fed Ex. read more

Do not use this location! I recently dropped off a package (cell phone) to return back to my wireless carrier. Needless to say, it never made it there. So now I have an open investigation with UPS so they could locate the package. Tracking says package was dropped off and nothing else! I would take your business elsewhere! Waiting 40 minutes for notary , after he showed up saying he forgot his stamp but can do it without it. Notarising documents without notary stamp, which makes notarising not valid !!! It's illegal! Waste of time. Find someone professional! read more

Slow service, long lines. This location always has a long line. I wish the location would hire more employees. I do like the UPS store for its simplicity in terms of being able to ship either using UPS or USPS. However, if you choose USPS through the UPS store, it is super pricey. This particular location often has a scratchy-not-all-the-way-in-range radio station playing fairly loudly, and there is usually just one person working. I usually wait in line for 5 to 15 minutes. Sigh! The location also offers cards, stamps, shipping materials, and more. It is near a nails place. read more

Terrible and overpriced. I had utilized this place a few times and thought, wow, this seems expensive for standard ground shipping. I ship small pkgs from phx to san jose, ca. Tried the FedEx kinkos shop and realized what an a..f...... this place was giving me. UPS store ~$20-35 FedEx :$12-16 pkg size/weights are comporable. I would always get a second price after getting the price from this shop. read more

When a child comes in needing assistance with a return to a company, the proper thing to do would be actually being helpful instead of sassy, rude attitude. I'm not sure what was up with your employees this evening (1/6/2020) but she's really lucky she didn't embarrass my little sister in front of me when she was just confused . Worst customer service ever. Lost my package that I sent on Aug 30th 14$ still have not received my refund. Ben the manager and his employee Kevin were very rude throughout process calling me a lier and just flat out rude and unprofessional. They did not call to provide me updates throughout this whole refund process. I call it a process because thats what its been. Will never give that store my business again and would not recommend anyone go there. Will make sure friends and family do not go there. Still waiting on owner to get my refund. If I had the option of rating this location 0 stars I would probably not hesitate. A rating of 1 is me being kind. I am a business owner myself and know how important customer satisfaction is for a business of the community. I walked into this UPS standalone location a couple of weeks ago and was helped by a gentleman that did not really know what in the world he was doing at all. He was very short and a bit on the heavy side with glasses and had a strong accent, sounded Jamaican maybe. I do not remember his name but that is how I can describe him. As I walked in I was not acknowledged and was waiting just standing there in line for a few minutes. This is not the first time that I have walked in there to find an extremely understaffed place of work. It took forever for me to be helped on this instance. When I was finally up at the counter he took an extremely long time to get my transaction over with and seemed to second guess every decision he made on the computer. If you are going to be working somewhere you need to know what you are doing so that customers do not waste their time. Being confident in your work and abilities and in yourself goes a long way. If an employee needs extra help then it should be provided by upper management. Customers expect employees to be trained, and also expect the employee to know how to do their job in order to make the visit to a store a pleasant and and quick transaction. This guy really upset me that day. On a Saturday I have many places to be and the last place I want to spend it is here receiving terrible service. For the record, UPS rents out mailboxes for personal and for business use. I was in need of 2 mailboxes and was looking at this location (prior to this experience) due its close proximity to my businesses but have since then opened them at a competitor to UPS store standalones because I do not want to step into another UPS location ever again or spend my money on anything UPS ever again. Summary: 1. Employee not trained 2. Not acknowledged as a customer 3. High Prices 4. Understaffed ALL the time as if the recent months. (Used to be good about employees but not recently) read more

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP. I have used this location for Notary, shipping a vintage typewriter, printing from my email, copying and who knows what else! They are ALWAYS pleasant, professional and easy to work with. I used to have to wait in line, but if I go first thing in the morning, there is no wait. The wait is only about 3-4 minutes anyway. The staff is pleasant and the owner/manager is SUPER NICE. I cannot say enough good things about this USP store. They have been my backup office when my home office is inoperative and I am grateful they are available to help. Having such a pleasant staff cannot be overlooked. Terrible. Feeling ripped off after the owner of the franchise Jasjit Singh, forced me to use a box two sizes too big for what I was shipping, based solely on the declared value and not the size of the objects. If I had packed it myself he said it would have been different, but since he is not just an employee, but also the owner of this UPS store #4870, he seemed pretty intent on taking advantage of a customer. Once I took out two very small but somewhat expensive, not fragile objects, he was OK allowing me to use one box smaller for the "pack & ship guarantee" but I still wound up having to use a box that was two sizes bigger than needed! His rationale was that since the contents were deemed "expensive" at about $1000, it required not just "extra" packing material but "extra extra" packing material, for which I would be charged for an even bigger box and more packaging, even though I was already paying extra for the insurance to cover the declared value!! Unbelievable. When I pointed out the flaw in his logic, all he could do was try to tell me that it would be easier for me to file a claim using the "pack and ship guarantee" service and the bigger box and having insurance rather than just having insurance. Otherwise, that UPS might deny my insurance claim. This makes NO sense at all and this man appears to be warping UPS policies to work in his favor, monetarily. We will not be using the services of this store again. read more

Worst customer service I've ever receive! I went in to get a fingerprint card I told the lady I'm not sure what needs to be done but I need a fingerprint card for the department of insurance, she says no problem I know what to do, so we do my fingerprints I pay she sends me on my way I get to the DOI and they tell me it's was done wrong they won't except it, so I go out crying bc I just drove 1.5 hrs to get this done, so I find another ups store close by bc I don't want my day to be a waste and I show them what happened they told me that anytime I get a fingerprint that it should be sealed and the other store knows this and that this form he pulls it out should be filled out with it and the other store knows This! So he gave me the old card and receipt and said to get a refund when I am done, so fast forward I go to the store to get a refund they REFUSED to give me a refund that I should have said I needed it sealed and that I needed the paper and that I shouldn't have gone to another store to have it fixed I should have come back to them, no I wasn't driving 1.5 hrs back to have u fix what u should have done correct in the first place I just want my refund nope wouldn't give me a refund and blamed me for it all, I told the lady I didn't know what all needed to be done she said she did that means she knew they needed to do this and knew I didn't know so I was an easy target to be screwed over! Well not anymore they are the worst store I have ever been to and will never return! read more

The employees are not trained other than to run a register, offer no support to there customers when a package is lost. If you need customer support then your in the wrong store, even a simple task seems to be a chore for this store. read more
