Ronda sucks. I paid for overnight delivery. Got to the post office just before 4:00pm but there was only one cashier. Phone it in Ronda opened up another clerk both. By the time it was my turn, Rude Ronda was condescending, letting me know that overnight shipping is done by 4:00pm. Even though there's nothing on the usps website or Avondale post office stating this. And reminded me the truck may have left. I also asked her about a build out I did on my commercial property and that I needed to change the address. She said I couldn't change the address without speaking to the Post Master. The breathtaking incompetence of not only those who work there, but deliver the parcels is astounding. This is my own local post office, and over the past 5 years must have lost about 14 different packages of mine. I don't understand how hard it can possibly be to accurately read an address and place it into the correct lock box, but apparently it proves an insurmountable task for these people. I've had it, if you can circumvent them, please never use USPS ever again. read more

Super helpful staff, had really great customer service for every customer not just myself, even when they had a ton of questions and it was right before closing. Gabriel helped multiple customers while I was filling my information slip and was extremely respectful and kind, it's unfortunate that other people have had negative experiences. Cutest little post office! I didn't even know the place existed. I was in a meeting in the area and Google maps directed me here as the nearest post office. The line was extremely long which gave me time to write a nice review. With over 25 people in line ahead of me, the line moved pretty fast. The three postal clerks helped! The clerk that attended to my postal needs was VERY friendly despite the continuous line of package toting people. He only have seconds to build rapport and man I tell ya, I found out he have relatives in SC, was stationed in GA, and he LOVES his job. You go boy! Ok here's the tough part... Listen people, have your packages wrapped AND TAPED prior to coming to the post office. They're not going to lend you ANYTHING! Why would you wait in line for 30+ minutes with stuff falling all out of your box, have your turn at the counter, then talk about can I see your tape? No, no, no! So don't go getting all mad! RUDE employee lady at counter. I don't go to post office much but I needed to drop off a package & I was in the area and had my printed label on hand. I let her know I just needed the clear slip to put the label in to then put on exterior top of the package. She rudely said "you have to tape it yourself and that needs to be provided by you!". I was not expecting that response like if your having a bad day no need to take it out on other people. I then told her I didn't have this happen at another post office I went to a week ago.. they did it all for me there without a problem. I asked her "okay so once I do it all myself do I need to bring it back k up here to the counter or is there a drop off area fir this?" She rudely AGAIN says "you can leave it wherever you want, wherever it fits!". I work customer service and in the medical field I would NEVER respond to people like that. Hopefully no one else gets her rudeness! Been coming here for a year or so since it's in my route. Im Starting to notice how rude the staff are. Some customers just want help shipping their items and usually the front counter staffs are short on words and give out demands. They even yelled at some old lady for not having her mask on her nose. Relax guys it's just covid 19. It's not the old lady's fault your life at home sucks. We the people pay our taxes and come here to use your service and pay our fee. Post offices tend to get a bad rep for being over crowded, the employees sometimes aren't the friendliest since they are so busy, and they get blamed for lost mail all day long. The post office on Van Buren probably had the nicest gentleman I've encountered in quite some time. No apologies and then made me pay extra for the tape needed for a different box, even though that was their error so I ended up losing money. I love you guys! I've been to a few post offices around the valley and this is my favorite! The staff here is so kind. Even with smallest things like offering you tape or a marker in case you forgot yours. I've never been asked at a post office how my day is going lol The service here is nothing compared to the rest.
