I went for print job: single page, normal paper, normal ink. There is apparently a $4.00 "access fee" just for pulling up your file. I would have been okay with $1-$2, but $4 seems extremely unfair for someone that's printing a single page. read more

I WILL NEVER give my business to UPS again. EVER!!! I know a lot of small and big business owners who use UPS as their preferred shipping provider and that is soon going to change to FEDEX. Now it is semi-difficult to get businesses to do much of anything that requires extra work thats unneccessary in their eyes UNLESS you know someone whos employed within (im talking about the businesses that I know who have business accounts with UPS). Well my mother is top sales in her division for over 30+ years and they are going to switch soon and I am speaking to 10 other businesses to do the same. THIS ALL STEMMED from this UPS location off Central and Camelback and my visit there. I came in with a package that I needed to have sent to a friend down in Texas. It was vital that he got this package ASAP so he could in return, mail me the laptop that I was getting from him, which I was going to use for my business. I sent over ($1600.00) worth of equipment and I got insurance on it. The lady at the UPS store told me the package would arrive on Thursday. I had relayed that information to my friend. On Wednesday, my friend went out of town a couple hours away for business. I had received a text message stating the package was delivered. I had called my friend to ask him if he received the package and he stated he did not because he was out of town and he thought it was arriving the following day. I told him that the package was delivered and the only way that was done is if someone signed for it. He hung up with me and called his wife to see if she didl. She was not home, so she didnt sign either for it, but she left work to go home to see if the package was there. (So now I have disrupted 2 peoples lives in search for this package). When she arrived home she did not see the package anywhere. I had issues looking up the package on UPS website, so I had to drive down to the store to ask them. Their customer service is so poor its disgusting. They told me that someone named "Fi" had signed for the package. I told them that is impossible as he is out of town, not expecting the package til tomorrow (when the girl told me it would arrive). There was NO photo of the package delivery. Long story short, Fi, my friend, had found out that the UPS delivery driver, dropped the package off, and signed for the package themself, for the resident (because the UPS drivers know everyone there in that neighborhood), as a "courtesy" delivery, so they dont have to wait for their package. Welll. someone apparently saw this and had stolen the package from wherever the UPS driver had put it and NOW I am out $1600.00+ shipping fee from UPS + insurance $ paid + laptop my friend was supposed to send me once he received the equipment (over $2000.00) + gas/time its taken me to try to resolve this issue (which has remained UNRESOLVED). Everytime I spoke to someone at the UPS store (when I was reluctant to get ahold of anyone), they were NOT helpful. They said they would call me back (over 4 times) AND NEVER ONCE DID. I waited and waited and waited. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and now I have lost faith in UPS completely. This store has tarnished UPS's name completely. Since then I have heard and seen bad things about this place. I have TRIED (yes I say TRIED) to file a claim, but they wont even file it. I cannot file it on my own. THE STORE has to file it and they refuse to do so. They refuse to take responsibility (UPS) for their actions. What was the point of getting INSURANCE WHEN YOU CANNOT EVEN FILE A CLAIM FOR IT. I have NEVER filed a claim ever in my life. And the ONE TIME I need to file it, I have a horrible experience with it. The ONLY way they can make this right is if I get paid for my stuff that I sent that went missing due to their negligence and poor communication. If not, I will not stop in making sure I can get as many businesses as I can to switch to FedEX and continue my journey until I am satisfied. This is friggin ridiculous. And from the looks of it, reading these reviews, other people have had other issues as well. I honestly dont expect them to even get ahold of me in regards to this, this is why I am going to hire an attorney and file a lawsuit against them because I have all the proof I need. The only reason I havent yet was because thats a lengthy process (which now I dont even care, I will do it) and because I was giving them the benefit of the doubt (which has went out the window). Sad. We've rented a mailbox from here for over 5 years. Last year was $467 for the year. Price is high but not the real problem. Bad attitudes and lost packages are the problem. For the first 3 years never had one lost package. The last 2 years have been frustrating. Example of a common problem: I receive notification from usps or whomever that my package is delivered. I go to pick it up. No package. I talk to the staff, show them my notification/confirmation- 1. They just say " If there's no slip in your box. We didn't receive it." 2. I show staff the picture that usps snapped of packages left on their counter. That staff will say "That's just a random picture. Your package isn't here." 3. They look up some stuff in their computer. Tell me "nope, never received that package. Call Usps and make a claim." I actually did call usps and filed a claim they geo searched it. Swore up and down that it was delivered. I was freaking out because it was expensive medication. What do I so now? Both parties will not help find my medication. 4 days later the slip IS in my ups box- and GUESS what?? It was dated 8 days prior. The ups slip not the package label. That means it was Delivered- AND in the computer but I was told it wasn't and to go file a usps claim it wasn't their problem. Except I pay almost $500 a year for them to just collect my mail- so it IS their problem. Because this is happening a lot lately- we've decided not to renew our box again. Maybe if staff attitudes were better and they were actually helpful- we'd stay. But we're past that point read more

Every UPS Store is independently operated, and I've had great experiences at many locations -- but not this one. I specifically called ahead to confirm three things: 1. That they had a notary public on staff 2. That the notary was currently available 3. That the notary would be there until store close I was told: yes, yes, and yes. I drove over within the hour, only to be told by the manager on duty -- in a rude and indifferent manner -- that: 1. The notary hadn't shown up for work that day 2. Owner is a cheap crook who doesn't deserve your business. Tried to charge me $17 for a box. Fine. More money to print the label. Fine, get me out of here. They asked if I wanted to pay $46 to pack my box for me. No, that's okay, I'll put the return item in the $17 box myself and save $29. Then they said I'd have to leave the store with the box, pack it myself outside, and that I couldn't use their tape without incurring the $46 fee. You lost the chance to sell me a $1 box for $17 because I wanted some tape to close it? This place is not about giving the customer value for money. read more

Mr. John Crawford is a bully, a thief, all the things that would be disreputable as a business owner and a figure of the community. Within 20 minutes of contacting the vendor who sent my package, they refunded my money (a substantial amount to the average person) without question. I have been battling this "man" and UPS corporate for over a month and with ONE phone call and without question they refunded me immediately and will no longer be using UPS as their preferred carrier. And they are not a HUGE presence on the commercial side. Very local and very "home grown". I was told by UPS that I am one person, and "unimportant". Well, I guess I'm not that "unimportant " to the vendor I regularly buy merchandise from. I'll be providing updates as to the"lost" package regardless of the refund. Payless for better service at any other UPS Store, and spare yourself the potential verbal assault from the owner. As mentioned in other reviews the owner has inflated fees different from all other UPS Stores. When I questioned a fee I have never had to pay at any other location ($3.50 fee to print a shipping label for an Amazon return), before I could even finish my sentence the owner jumped down my throat yelling at me that I'm cheap and poor and need to go somewhere else. He proceeded to yell that it's his store and he can charge whatever he wants and if I don't like it to "take my broke ass to another location". ( I had already paid before this so I politely asked for my receipt so I could leave). This guy looked like a complete asshole in front of other customers (which also walked out as I did because he was being rude and unprofessional. One even said they could believe he was the owner acting that way and they would never be back. Even after I paid the fee and left the store he continued to aggressively follow me out of the store berating me all the way to my car. I could not believe how terribly rude and disrespectful this guy was. As he's following me to my car insulting me I simply said you can read my review, I don't have time for his bullshit and disrespect. His response was "only losers like you leave reviews, and no one cares about those reviews because they're from poor losers like you". This guy clearly is unstable and could not handle a customer simply questioning a fee that only he charges. I could not believe what I was experiencing. This store THAT GETS PAID TO HANDLE THE SHIPMENT by UPS wanted to charge me $3.54 to print a single piece of paper in black and white. ONE PIECE OF PAPER. Absolutely LOVE this location! Not only is it my favorite due to its great hardworking members of staff IT'S RELIABLE! Every time I visit this UPS (near Central Avenue & Camelback) it's always an efficient process and members of staff such as Robert and the fabulous Roberta never hesitate to lend a helping hand! I enjoy the service provided by the employees here so much that even if I am on the other side of town closer to a different UPS, I will intentionally drive the extra miles making my way to receive the impeccable service provided by this location (no matter the status of Rush Hour nor the amount of traffic). I have used this store routinely for several years. On the last visit, I was told a very tiny 1 pound package would cost $29 to ship (when a heavy box I shipped a couple of weeks before cost $20). When I asked the clerk to re-check the price, after some eye-rolling and heavy sighs, she insisted that it was correct. I took the same box to the Postal Service and it cost $13. I have two issues: the very high price and, more significantly, the poor attitude of the clerk. If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

Employee Brooks was horrible. The service here was absolutely terrible, I went in to get a paper notarized, and the employee Brooks "assisting" me, was stating how he can't tell me where to sign- which alright that's understandable. Everything about his mannerisms and behavior was disgusting & incredibly rude and then I had said "Well, I'll just get the notary portion finalized and I'll do my signature at the bottom section where the notary is and if I need anything additional, I'll come back." To which he responded "Oh, you need two witnesses for this piece of paper." Which is ironic because he didn't even even look at it, yet he refused to actually assess it to see. He also reeked of cigarettes. I had called this store location twice just to ensure that there would be a notary here for the timeframe I was looking for and when I got there in person, I overheard him saying he was leaving at 6:30pm yet when I had called the store They said he'd be there till 715 so I can't imagine how annoyed other people would be expecting to utilize a service and then this person is just making up their own hours. I was also very shocked to see bad reviews at this location. The ladies working here were extremely knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. I felt like I had walked into a small town family-owned business. They knew other customers well and treated everyone I saw, including me, like you would treat a neighbor. I was there for the first time and needed to ship a suit to someone who lost his mother suddenly, while visiting his home state, and needed his suit right away so he could deliver the eulogy at his mother's funeral. This is my neighborhood UPS store so I'm there a lot and I can honestly tell you that even on the most heaviest days like Christmas New Year's, etc. they are very busy but still services. I was shocked to see so many bad reviews here. I came to ship 13 packages and I had such a great experience. The woman working, Regan, helped me to select the best shipping method, fold all the boxes and pack and ship them each individually which obviously took a lot of time. She was very helpful and patient. There was also a "family like" feel here as I saw a few people come in that were clearly regulars and greeted and helped promptly. I came into the store as I had an item returned and wanted to talk about options. I asked for a manager and a very nice lady came out and we were having a pleasant conversation about my options. She had unfortunately informed me that I didn't have many, and I understood that. Then the owner John came over and asked what was going on and even though the issue was resolved, we started over. He immediately gave me attitude and was unpleasant. I told him I was informed by one of the people working in the store that the item I was shipping should ship without issue and he wanted me to point that person out (getting louder) and I refused to do so as I did not want to throw anyone under the bus. John then proceeded to call me a liar and was getting louder. So, I then pointed the person out as I felt my integrity was being questioned. He then raised his voice once again and told me he was not giving me a refund which was already resolved and I was ok with before he stepped in. The nice manager came in and assisted and I sent the package again. But congratulations John, despite having excellent workers you have lost all of my bulk mailings for my business, EDDM and any other shipping I do with my business/personally. I witnessed him treating another customer like crap previously and figured the owner just made a bad hire. But found out today that UPS Store made a bad decision by letting him become a franchise owner. Take the extra time and drive to another location. read more
