Have avoided this PO like the plague for several months, but had an important letter to mail. There were some different staff there and they seemed to have their A/C turned on this time, which was good because it was 106 degrees today. One of the employees actually came out into the waiting area and queried those in line personally about whether they were merely picking up or dropping off a package that already had postage, instructing them to report to the far left window. At the far right was a newer employee who is extremely tall and muscular and friendly. As each customer left his window, he apologized for the wait, as there was a long line. But he works very fast, so the wait is not because of him. The female at the far left pickup window was a little strange. She had a big head bandana and crazy eyes. She had no one at her window and wasn't doing anything, nor was she announcing to newly arrived customers that if they only had a pickup or drop off they could come to her window -- other employees seemed to take on that "heavy mantle" FOR her. She only gave confrontational stares to customers in line, like she wanted to jump over the counter and fight with them for looking at her (probably wondering what her job was). The other employees were working a little slower, but not as slow as PAST longtime employees used to (maybe they finally retired). There used to be a middle aged lady with short spiky hair that worked so slow it was almost impossible to tell if she was moving. Just watching her made me feel like I was going into a coma. Maybe she is finally gone. SHE is the one who always SHOULD have apologized for the wait... Dare I say things are improving slightly over there. At least they had 4 active windows going. I'm curious as to what accounts for their sudden new motivation to actually do the jobs for which they are being handsomely paid... It is in a convenient location with good parking access IF you are going northbound on 7th Avenue. Otherwise you are pretty much SOL. read more

Don't ever go to this usps I went in there yesterday printed my label and the dude in there that was about to close the inside of usps store didn't know how to do his job what so ever told me that I'm using a ground label and told me to switch it from ground and the label was a QR code so the customer wanted ground not normal shipping I kept telling him I couldn't switch it it's supported my a QR code I can't physically change it my self and said it would just get shipped back if I took it then changed his mind and said I can't take that I'm sorry it was just all a shit show it was like he was kinda slow and they should of never even hired him read more

Former PSE here that worked at this station: The problem with this place is management. Management doesn't care about ypu, your parcels or mail. They'll make fun of you in the back, and wait forever to hopefully make you go away. There is no enticement for anyone to do extra work for customers, and pride is all but ignored here. Just go to another place, pull your poboxes (where mail is stolen from, I have seen it), and don't give them your service. read more

The mail carriers for this location are the worst that I have ever experienced! Mail is often not delivered on time or even at all, mail is placed in wrong mail boxes, magazines arrive 1 week late - sometimes you can tell they have been previously read by someone else, and complaints are ignored. I would avoid this post office and try not to move into their delivery area! read more

What is going on? When we send a mail, utilizing priority mail, we expect the USPS to hand our mail with care, and deliver it fast as promised. The message below has been sitting on their system since 3/21/2024 and today is 4/18/2024. That is over a month later for a mail that was to be delivered in 3 days. What are we suppose to do? Called on 04.24.2023 @12:52p to check on package tracking cause I saw it's been 2 weeks now (that it's said out for delivery) and the delivery still hasn't been made, the vendor said to call the post office to check on it. The woman that picked up literally had me on hold for 10 mins because she didn't feel like tracking my package. It's now 04.24.2023 @1:07p and I've called 2 times since then for a total of 3X. I usually take negative reviews about businesses with which I am familiar with a healthy dose of skepticism, however, this business has been in steady decline during the 20 years I've lived here. This post serves to document only some of experiences that highlight this conclusion. This post is not a rant. *Rarely use my post office, but when I did, I was treated to stream of gratuitous complaints about her health by the head postal clerk as I waited a half an hour to pickup a package. Then, she would hum a rock tune from the '80s, then back to more aches and pains, then back to humming, etc. Other than the occasional customer, I was her only audience. Not very professional. *Carrier does not pickup packages when requested, so I must use a much busier post office close to home. Posted the packages at the other post office, then days later, the carrier complained that I did not give him a chance to pickup the packages. *Carrier does not use the parcel boxes for deliveries because "some days, there are more packages than boxes." Never heard of scheduling? Not surprisingly, the carrier then went on to complain that a number of packages had recently been stolen from porches. How does one steal packages from parcel boxes? *The outgoing mail boxes in our apartments have all disappeared, so Christmas may have to wait. After the lock was broken on the outgoing box absent in the 1st photo, I asked the carrier about it. A few days later, she reported that the station does not have a key for the lock and denied that USPS ever maintained the box. Conversely, the apartment manager said that the box was a USPS responsibility and she could do nothing about it. Having used the box myself a number of times, I know that the recipients received mail I posted to the box, and can only conclude that a tenant or tenants, desperate to have their mail delivered, broke the lock when it became clear that the carrier had lost the key. The outgoing mail boxes were completely removed from from another apartment location close to the manager's office. See 2nd photo. The carrier claims that mail was stolen from these outgoing mail boxes as reported by the station. This story is incredible for a variety of reasons: 1) The apartment manager didn't hear anything about tenants losing mail pieces from the tenants themselves, only from the carrier well after the supposed loss. Notifying the manager would have been the fastest, most practical way to report missing mail from outgoing mail boxes. 2) The station's phone number is inoperable, so you call the national phone number, instead, at 800-275-8777. After being placed on hold for an hour, the best that customer service can do for you is to electronically notify the station of a situation and the station will contact you, if necessary. So, the story that the station received numerous complaints about this *specific box*, without the apartment manager just yards away being made aware, is questionable. 3) Lately, there is never just one carrier. Many carriers will service the route even over the shortest time span. The response to any question is always along the lines of "I don't usually make deliveries on this route." So, does the carrier that reported the missing outbox mail still work for USPS? 4) This second outgoing mailbox was a heavy duty, anti-theft box. I've personally never experienced missing mail problems due to use of these outgoing mailboxes in the seven years I've lived on the property. Picking up and sending both mail and packages from a closer post office spares me much time and aggravation. read more

During the past year, this office has lost, misplaced or left my packages vulnerable to theft by forgetting to take the key out of a parcel locker and putting it into my mailbox 9-10 times. This is no exaggeration. I have reported these issues over and over again, and it keeps happening. Sick and tired of babysitting my merchandise and doing the carriers' job for them. The front line worker was rude. I showed him my tracking number on my phone and he said "ITS OUT FOR DELIVERY!" I told him I called customer service and they told me it was here. This place can't get their act together. When I've have to leave town, I've scheduled a mail hold. That's pointless because they still deliver my mail to my address and even leave packages at my door for anyone to take. So I decided to do a temporary address change and have my mail forwarded. Well that's turned out to be even worse. Instead of forwarding my mail, they either deliver it to my home or they process my packages as returned to sender. And when I file claims, they basically tell me I'm out of luck. Why is it so difficult to do things right? read more

This post office is always super busy but huge shoutout to the manager who ALWAYS comes out when the line gets long and ask who needs help. He will take prepaid mail, do mail pickups and answer any questions. It helps move the line along. Also this super tall guy with long hair used to work there and he was such a nice guy. I have a paid box at this office (for over 25 years) and when you have something to pick up, you typically need to wait for the main office to open to pick up packages. Since forever, you bring the ticket in and wait in a separate line at the far left window (not the general line). I waited there as usual and after awhile a worker walking in the lobby informed me I needed to get in the general line. Didn't anyone else working behind the counter see me standing there??? One guy even walked up to where I was standing to get some tape and walked off. The service here has gotten worse over time. Nothing but issues with this location. Have had multiple packages route through this USPS that they will simply refuse to deliver, then will completely lose them when you're ready to go pick them up. No self service options, dropbox is always jammed, can't print labels... the list goes on and on. The worst post office in the city of Phoenix. It should be raided by the FBI and shut down. At least 30 % of all parcels transiting through this post office appear to fall off the back of a truck. At least that has been my own experience. Mr. Marsh, the local postmaster, is not very responsive and has no idea of what customer service means. The second-in-command a Miss Christine P. is worse than Mr. Marsh. If you complain to them about their poor service, or about what you believe to be thieving mail carriers, they become ballistic. I have nothing bad to say about this location, every time I have been there, I have been always taken care off, but this review is about one of their employees at the customer service counter. On 3/2/21 around noon time, the said lady was working the west end of the service counter. Kind lady, pls know that you are a federal employee, your personal beliefs, should be your personal beliefs and your counter should be decorated with a American flag, if any, not a rainbow flag. As much as I value your opinion, your place of work, the post office shouldn't be a place where opinions should be exchanged, imposed or expressed, it's a place of work. If you don't aggravate yourself and others with them, maybe you will have more time to take care of your customers and leave the phone research to your personal time. Office lost my package. Said it was delivered when it . I submitted a lost package request. Received a call same day saying the package was marked as delivered by mistake and that they would deliver the package next business day. This did not happen, and was sent back to sender the following day. Got another call saying that they were trying to retrieve my package as it may had been delivered to the wrong mail box. This an important package. I've called the office over 12 times today, was able to get ahold of someone who placed me on hold for 15 minutes then the call needed. If there was a minus sign to use in a review this post office station would deserve about 5 of them. We have been in this station's delivery zone for over 10 years and it has become worse, if that is possible. The carriers who deliver to our apartment complex have no idea of how to do their job when it comes to package delivery, even though we have larger box accommodations just for packages right next to the letter boxes. It is even worse now that our front office is no longer accepting ANY packages up front. Numerous complaints to headquarters are ignored by the station postmaster and when you call prepare to wait an hourto file a compla.
