This store tampered with our mail. A male indicated that he was the owner. His father had perfect timing showing up and exposed his son. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. I have been given mail from the PO Box that does not belong to me. I have my key so why would Monica, a employee be tampering with the mail? I have over $9k of which consist of merchandise and checks that I have not received. I got copies from the United States Post Office. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. Horrrrrrrrrible customer service! They wouldn't release my package to my husband because he and I don't have the same last name. He went there with the pick up slip and they still didn't give it to him. The manager did not care and was so rude to me over the phone. I asked if I can text my photo ID to my husband and you can see it that way and release my package. I work late everyday and wont make it to pick up the package, so he said that's fine we'll send your package back to the sender!! SO Rude!!!!!!! They take their jobs WAY more serious than it really is, you aren't working for the TSA please relax! I called UPS to verify if the information he was giving me was true and accurate, and UPS said they should release it to your husband as long as he has the tracking slip that was left. Poor service, they don't care for customer service. Instead the were quick to send you somewhere else. You are better off going to another ups store. To clarify my situation and my one star rate was to the rudeness of the person I charge of notarizing forms. I had just called the store about a notarizing paper and as I arrive the lady doing them said no she had to go. They could had told me that on the phone before I wasted time. Their shredding rate went from 99 cents per pound up to 1.50 per pound, and I was not happy about my shreddables being set aside to be dealt with at some later time instead of right away so I could see it being put into the locked dumpster. Made me feel slightly paranoid but I didn't have the nerve to say anything. I found out that STAPLES is .99 per pound so I will use them for shredding in the future. And in the future I will have my "pushy customer" hat on so I can rest assured that the stuff was definitely destroyed or at least locked away from any curious eyes. read more

I don't often write reviews but I feel compelled to publicly thank Monica for her outstanding service this past week. I've had nothing but good experiences at this location from finding parking to friendly service over the past several years (and free tape unlike other locations that charge to tape up your boxes). Specifically, this past week I was at the store for close to one hour dealing with a return label situation from an outside vendor. Monica encouraged me to take whatever time I needed on the phone so that I didn't feel rushed. While in the store, I was able to observe her and her staff help other customers with efficiency and professionalism. Finally, when my QR code never arrived, she graciously printed the label for me. I came in here at 5PM on a Thursday evening. There was plenty of staff to help us out. We just needed to drop off some packages and get receipts. We were literally in and out in less than 3 minutes. The guy helping us was very friendly and quick to help us. As a side note, if you check into this location, you might get a special offer. I got 10% of shredding services! I use this particular UPS Store whenever I have stuff to mail out to Amazon for trade. I've never had to wait more than 60 seconds for service. Technically, I just use it as a drop off store and it's never been busy. This location is in the Rite Aid shopping center and next door to Prontos Donuts. It's an in and out affair. I had my certifications laminated here and found the workmanship on the cutting and sizing perfect. These certifications took a lot of hard work for me, and so I want to preserve them whenever possible. Having documents laminated (except for driver's licenses) is probably the best way to preserve those precious certificates besides framing them. I don't have many certificates, so I haven't invested in a laminator, as of yet. I enjoy quality work, so I have the professionals do it for me. read more

I just opened a mailbox here, so my review is based solely on my experience with that process. First visit - an employee tells me the man who handles the mailboxes is not there and that I have to come back tomorrow. Second visit - the man who handles the mailboxes is still not there. Third visit - the man is there and takes my payment. He proceeds to tell me he cannot do the paperwork or make the keys at that time and to come back. Fourth visit - the man is not there, and the employee helping me tells me he cannot do the paperwork because he doesn't know where the man left off. I tell him to check the computer and see if he can figure it out. He does and is able to print the paperwork for me to sign. I sign the paperwork and he tells me he cannot make the keys and to come back. Fifth visit - I come back, the man who makes the keys is there but does not have the materials at that time to make them. He asks me to come back later; I tell him I will come back tomorrow and he says, "even better." Sixth visit- I come back and the man is there but takes ten minutes to come out from the back. He walks past me and says he will be right back and leaves the store. He returns after another ten minutes and hands me the keys. I now have my keys and will never use this store for anything else but retrieving my mail. 1/7 - I received an email today that I had received a package, so I went into the store to retrieve it. The person who assisted me had trouble finding it, even after I showed him the email I received from his store. After five minutes of searching, he asked me if I had a box with the store. I told him that I did and he gave me attitude, stating that it would have been easier to look up if I had told him that. He began searching again, still unable to find the package. He called the manager over, who was also unable to find it. Then a woman came out and said to the manager, "That's the mistake, remember?" They apparently had accidentally emailed me instead of the correct box number, but - as the woman said - had no way of letting me know that they had made a mistake. Really?? I can't stress this enough... Do not use this store for anything. read more

Avoid this place. The manager doesn't care about your package. That much is clear to me . After telling me I can have packages shipped to this address for $5 extra, they returned my valuable package marked "return to sender " without even a courtesy call to let me know. My number was on the package. Abysmal service. Then I got attitude at the store from the manager. Why they call her a manager is beyond me. What are managers now like security guards that's all. I got a Christmas present form someone that I needed to return to Amazon. I dropped it off at this store on Dec 26. They said they would ship it out by Dec 28. I checked the tracking number (on the UPS website) and it still has not been shipped today (January 5). It stills says shipment is pending. I called the store and they (without asking for the tracking number) said that it had already been sent to Amazon and that I should call Amazon. How would they know it had been shipped without a description of the item or the tracking number? Completely unhelpful. They did not seem interested in helping me locate my package. read more

Came in on a rainy day here to get Livescan testing done and I'm Glad I picked this location since the staff clearly knows it's customers and clearly enjoy having a quick conversation with whoever walks in. The testing they do there is standard, and the manager (I assume) who helped me was friendly and funny. Okay. I have been here before, few complaints. But today was it for me. My second time trying to get something notarized. I get it that they only have one notary, and I believe my husband when he says he's "a sweet guy." But the first time I went, two days ago, the notary was busy with someone at the fax machine. I finally had to leave; groceries in the car. Back again today, long line. Notary again busy with someone at the fax machine, so I was told to wait at a table by the notary, which I did, even though the conversation at the fax machine was like eavesdropping on someone who had just encountered money for the first time. BUT HERE'S MY GRIPE, and it's a big one. A man came in a good 10+ minutes after me with a package to mail. Regular line, not notary line, me. Big conversation with notary; I guess they're friends. Wait, wait, wait. Finally the notary finished helping the woman at the fax--AND HE GOES TO HELP HIS FRIEND BEHIND THE COUNTER! Ignoring me. They charged me $2 extra for "using the computer": all I did was plug the usb and press "print"! I live around the corner from this place and have used it regularly, SOLELY for convenience. It's dirty, their office supplies are frequently out of stock, and the employees range from competent to abysmal. There is one person who works here, a heavyset white woman with long black hair, who has one of the most consistently negative attitudes I've ever encountered in customer service. She EXUDES an air of, 'I hate my job, and I hate customers' and I have seen her be rude to others on several occasions. She ignores people waiting, doesn't acknowledge new customers, and is snarky and sarcastic to people. Today it was my turn, apparently, and...well, I'm just done. I'd rather drive half a mile and wait at the Post Office for 20 minutes than deal with this woman or this grimy store again. read more

Trusting your package to a UPS Store has no meaning as they carry zero responsibility for your package being timely delivered or in my case being considered as " undeliverable " and returned. The address label on the box was proven to be correct and it took a lot of convincing that they should retry the delivery for free. My advice, stick with the USPS. read more

I seriously don't know how I'd survive without this store. I have been using them for seven plus years now and they have treated me like family from day one. I remember the first time I was shocked that they knew my name when I walked in the door with my packages. I've used them to have large packages sent to me and they've literally walked my stuff to my car for me so many times. Granted, I've been using them for a while now so they see me driving up and they're already getting my packages together before I even walk in the door. Monica and the rest of the crew always go out of their way. Lately, due to all the changes and restrictions with the virus they've had to maintain the social distancing of the customers on top of the rush of the shipping organization they usually deal with daily. I'm surprised to see any negative reviews on here - I have a feeling people are reacting to the stresses inherent in the situation going on right now. I've noticed some people upset that they have to wait, but what planet have they been living on, I wonder? Welcome to life I guess? I will continue to use these guys for as long as I live in Pasadena. I've seen other stores lock their doors when I was literally there five minutes till closing. This store will stay open late to accommodate if you're in a bind and they see you there. Really awesome store all around. read more

I have NEVER been treated so rudely by a service person in my life...NEVER! I was attempting to return several items to go to Amazon today. I normally take my Amazon returns to Kohl's but due to the current situation Kohl's is closed. I had the barcodes ready for every item and waited patiently while the service woman tried repeatedly to scan the items I was returning. She was having difficulty but I trusted she would eventually figure out how to do it and succeed, so I waited patiently while she worked. I was returning a total of 8 items. When she finished I had receipts for 7 items. When I questioned why one was missing she got very annoyed with me and told me she scanned everything and I just didn't understand how it worked. I agreed that I didn't and asked her to explain it to me at which point she just yelled "Next!" To the person in line behind me and ignored me. I didn't move from the counter and asked again calmly how if I was returning 8 items I only had receipts for 7 items. At this point I was still polite and said I just needed proof that I had returned all the items so as to get my refund. She again was nasty and said "If you don't understand I can't help you. I'm done with you" and again yelled "Next!"I chose at that point to leave as we were getting nowhere and just call Amazon and explain my dilemma. I have run my own successful business so I am not an idiot, but this woman acted like because she couldn't scan things successfully or adequately explain why I was missing a receipt, there was a problem with my ability to comprehend. I know people's nerves are raw during this pandemic lockdown but that's no excuse for rudeness to a customer. This place doesn't deserve my business. I won't be back. read more

Called the store to have a notary witness a doc signed. Specifically asked if there was a need to have an appointment. We were greeted, well called out by a rude, abrupt employee. We had called prior to coming and asked if we needed an appointment. We explain to this employee that we had called and he had admitted he said, " O you were the ones that called". Admitting he knew we called and then yelling in the back for his co worker. Only to then have him lie to our faces that his co worker is on lunch and we have to wait 20 minutes. We then asked why would they have not told us to wait as we had just called 5 minutes prior to showing up. With all the issues currently with COVID. I feel I did my part to comply with the rules. However seeing that the integrity of the employees from this establishment is not wanting to comply with COVID regulations by not having us standing and waiting in a lobby when we could be in a safe place. Very disappointed with the service and the individual that did assist us had terrible manner about the difficulty of having this Advanced Directive signed. These actions should be corrected immediately upon having the employees held accountable for their unacceptable actions and attitude when I know this establishment holds the integrity of their name higher than the actions displayed by these employees. read more

I love this ups store, from Brent, Monica, Sybil and other they are such a remarkable team. I've been in plenty of times and watched them deal with entitled, rude, and stuck up people. And they still do their best to serve the community. Weak COVID protection for customers. One employee had a vented face mask. That type allows unrestricted exhalation of droplets and does not protect other people. The CDC says to not use them. They have been banned in some cities. Another employee's mask was too small for her and did not cover her nose adequately. read more

I came to the store to pick up a package because I got an email notification saying if I didn't it would get sent back. I called first to confirm they had it and showed up about 30 minutes later. The employee refused to look in the outgoing mail and told me I would just have to come back after the driver looked through everything. But she didn't take down my name or the tracking number or anything. So I asked to speak to the manager who was actually standing next to us in earshot. I told her I can't just accept a well get back to you it will just get sent back you don't have any of my information. I let her know that trying to shoe me off wasn't ok and the least she could do was make an attempt. She said she was busy with customers yet there were 4 employees and no other customers at that moment and I had been there as people came and went and I actually also happened to be a customer. The other employee tried to interrupt us and I told her we didn't need her help anymore. At that point the young male employee threatened me with physical harm. So extremely unprofessional this store is the worst. read more
