Absolutely horrible customer service. I'm not one to ever write bad reviews, and I usually come here for mailing services/returns for the last 3 years and have never had an issue until today. Everyone I've interacted with has been nice or at least polite. There was a blonde lady I've never seen before who was so rude... I had multiple returns with different QR codes and she was clearly upset about it. She was throwing my clothes back in my box saying "that code's not ours." I asked where I was supposed to go then, because it said UPS, and she said "I don't know, read and figure it out." How rude!!! I showed her the code again and said it says UPS. She was wrong and didn't even apologize. I gave her back the clothes to return and now I'm worried she did all the returns wrong. I will 100% be going elsewhere because I don't want to experience her ever again. read more

Had a great experience here. Parked on street since the lot is very small. Not a big deal. Store was immaculate. The staff very friendly. We were there to get a document notarized. The process was seamless. We were out of there in less than 30 minutes. What struck me was that this location was fully staffed. The employees looked happy. And engaging them was a delightful experience. It might be a tad out of my way, but I'll return to this location for shipping and notary needs. read more

I stopped by this UPS location on my way to an appt in Pasadena for the first time on Mon, 9/8/2025 at around 9:45 AM. I came in right after one other patron to drop off four small packages and only needed a receipt. Unfortunately, the staff member who assisted me did not smile, greet me, or provide even a basic level of courtesy. The interaction was very short, but it still managed to feel disappointing because I wasn't expecting much--just a meh experience. Interior: The store was very clean and tidy in the morning. Parking: The store is in a small lot that does have parking, but spots are limited. The lot itself is laid out in a U-shape, which makes it a bit unique compared to standard parking layouts. Store Hours as of September 2025: Mon-Fri: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Sat: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Sun: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM I probably won't be returning because of the location, but I do appreciate that they're open seven days a week, which is convenient. read more

Another 10 out of 10 experience. Trudy helped me out today and she just handled everything so smoothly and with a smile. I waited in line for about 30 seconds and I was probably in and out in a few minutes even though I had a couple things that needed to be done. Lately I've had to go to a couple other UPS stores because of my location and they were night and day difference. Less friendly higher prices, less services; and not as eager to help! I was happy to find out that there is a UPS Store in Pasadena. I was in the neighborhood so I took advantage of my presence and brought my Amazon return here. Funny, my visits to the UPS Store is usually very quick unless there is a long line. However, this time around, the wait time was in the parking and not the line. This UPS is located in a very tiny corner plaza. Parking is so tight and limited... it was unreal. I had to drive around a few times before getting a parking spot. I got really lucky because they were near closing time and I wasn't sure if anyone would leave and if I would have to try for another day. Once I got into the store, it was quick and easy. Staff was super friendly. They scanned the package, gave me the receipt, and I was out of here. As for my return to this location, it probably will not be my first pick due to the parking challenge. Everyone in the store is super professional and extremely friendly. I only have positive experiences when I come here. Admittedly, I mostly frequent this store to return Amazon package packages. Don't fault me on that-- so many of us have become victims of convenience to the online behemoth! Anyhow, I digress. Today I went to return an Amazon item at UPS. My item was 32x16x4. So, basically, needing a flat rectangular box, not terribly large. I dropped off my package at the Lake UPS store on 7/26/25. As of 8/4/25, The recipient never received. I called customer service and they told me the package never left the Lake UPS Store. I returned to the store to speak to the manager and he proceeded to yell at me in front of the other employees and customers telling me there's nothing he can do and it's not their fault. I even asked him to speak to the person who scanned my package on 7/26 and he refused. He didn't even bother looking it up! I am very disappointed in the way this entire situation was handled especially the store manager's response considering I have spent thousands of dollars shipping work packages and buying their expensive boxes. Superb They answer calls right away and professionally. Good customer service. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and organize. The female staff even suggested where I can go to use restroom, after I asked her colleagues 15 minutes ago. Back story: when I first came, I asked the guy helping me if they have a restroom. He said unfortunately no. So no biggie, I did my transactions, made copies, did my notary, even used their space for a bit long organizing my documents. After all that, maybe 15 or so, I was about to leave, and the female staff uttered her suggestion for a restroom. I thought that was nice of her. You know that feeling when you walk into a store and the person working there looks miserable to see you? They don't know you and have never met you before, but suddenly you feel like your presence in unwanted. That happened to me yesterday at this store. I walked in and Trudy, the blond lady, saw me and acted like I was the last person she wanted to see. There were two lines and i didn't know where to go, so I asked and she again acted as if speaking to me was annoying. As to what line I could use, she remained looking down unwilling to offer any eye contact and shrugged that either line was fine but that she was busy. I responded, "Oh no rush." I soon realized, however, she did not want to help me. I was in line for about 4 or 5 minutes and I saw her do everything to slow down and delay what she was doing, so she didn't have to help me. She was being chatty and friendly to the male customer she was with. Literally, you would have thought her job was to have long conversations with customers while others waited in line. She kept that conversation going as if her life depended on it. Meanwhile the other employee was doing everything he could to be kind, friendly and quick with the customer he was helping. I was so impressed by him. He made sure the customer understood all the answers to her questions, he made everything very clear to her and offered further explanations to some additional concerns she had before she left. He was a 10/10 in terms of professionalism and courtesy. I believe he was the manager and his name is Albert. The second he was done he turned his attention to help me. Even though he was busy he was not annoyed by my presence or unhappy to serve me. Trudy, on the other hand, was still talking up a storm. Nothing wrong with being chatty and having a nice exchange with customers. Not at all. But from her sour attitude, seeing me when I first walked in, to her unfriendly and unwelcoming behavior towards me vs. the guy she was helping, you have to question why. Why be rude to one customer and be completely different to another? Looks and felt like biased behavior to me. I did not appreciate the nasty attitude. Thank you to the manager for being awesome. Please talk to your employee and inform her this kind of behavior is far from okay. Thank you. read more

This is a small cramped location with a tiny parking lot. Lol. That being said, the staff are very nice and I've always received good service. This is the closest location to my house so it is the one I use. I'm just not a huge fan of the set up of the location or the strip mall itself. read more

I just witnessed an exemplary employee deal with one of the rudest customers I have ever seen. The man belittled and harassed the employee for several minutes, but the employee never lost his cool and acted professionally throughout. The customer (who, it should be noted, yelled homophobic slurs at me as I left the store) was ultimately taken care of. I don't fault UPS for their clientele. Horrible people have to ship items, too. But I want to especially commend this location for being much more helpful and patient than I could ever be. read more

I had 3 pieces of pottery to be packaged and mailed to the same address. I asked the gentleman at the cash register which would be less expensive to package and mail them separately or all in one box together. I told him I wanted the least expensive way. He measured each piece and when he added up the total it was over $150 I then asked if he was mailing them separately or all together. He said " all together in one box". When I got home I found an old receipt for mailing similar pieces of pottery and realized he had charged me almost double the amount that I had been charged when a young woman had take my order!! In addition, the lady had asked if I belonged to AAA and had given me a AAA discount. My advice, refuse help from the gentleman employee and wait for the lady to assist you! Realized it and called them to see if they can pull the packages out, and the man I spoke with reassured me that it's ok, they found the boxes and they would give them to the postal carrier. Despite the store being very busy, Rick took down as much info as I could give him and went out of his way to find the statues of the package. He got back to me with all the info that I needed. I left this store feeling uneasy and upset about my transaction. The guy that helped me, ALBERT , I believe his name is, was extremely rude and condescending. I came in to ship a pair of shoes with a prepaid shipping label and all I needed was a box. Told him I just need a box to ship these shoes in. I'm thinking he'll just charge me for just a box, which is what, $3 at most? All of a sudden he's charging me more than $13. I said, no it's a prepaid shipping label, I don't need to pay for shipping. He goes "it is prepaid, you're paying for the box and all the materials" in a condescending way. I then said, well can I just buy the box and pack it myself? Then he rudely responded, "WELL, DO YOU HAVE TAPE?" I realized I didn't and felt stupid at this point. In my experience, all packing/shipping places WILL LET YOU USE THEIR TAPE FOR FREE! Did I miss something here? If this ALBERT guy would've been customer focused, he could've at least suggest I just buy the box and the tape, which would still be less than $13!!! I don't need any "packing materials" to ship some shoes. Poor form on ALBERTS part, and if this store doesn't let their customers use their tape just to seal a box, then that's pathetic. Warning to all Amazon customers returning items. I often don't write reviews unless I have exceptionally good or bad experiences. Unfortunately, this visit fell into the latter category. I went in with my return package and asked Jazmin if I could email her my shipping label so she could print it for the package. She said it would cost $2.10 - which really seems excessive to me (normally printing costs like a dime). Curious, I asked what it would cost to copy any other piece of paper and she said $0.10, but that they charge the extra $2.00 for using the computer (she said the extra $2.00 fee applies to USBs as well). I've been to a number of other Fedex and UPS Stores where they don't charge this extra price so I was a little shocked by their upcharge and decided to take my business elsewhere. For those of you looking for some alternatives, I haven't been charged the extra $2.00 at the following stores: UPS stores on East Colorado, Washington, and Fair Oaks Fedex on East Colorado and Lake (though you can't drop off Amazon returns with them) Happy returns! read more

I dropped of 5 covid 19 test to be sent for my trip on Saturday morning expecting the shipment to go out and arrive monnight, but that was not the case paid for overnight and the 5 covid test sat at the store until 845pm Monday. I've had nothing but positive experiences here when it comes to shipping packages and dropping off returns for Amazon the past couple years. Specifically, Lindsey and Albert are two staff who always answer questions professionally and manage lines of customers quickly and efficiently. One time I mistakenly dropped off a USPS package and they were nice enough to handle it as part of their daily mail pickup (wow thanks again for that!!). Cost to ship items can run a bit higher than USPS, but the experience here is actually pleasant and efficient versus the life-draining time spent at the post office. So to me it's worth it. This spot is small, but fast and efficient. I would highly recommend it for UPS pickup and drop off mailing needs. read more

Never had an issue dropping off packages and getting receipts. Occasionally if I need to ship stuff out, this store is pretty reliable too. However there's one thing that really really throws me off. The customer service agents here DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SPELL. One time I shipped some documents to a family friend in the Bay Area, and it took the agent literally 3 tries to get the address spelt correctly... She misspelt almost everything and I caught probably 5 mistakes on the address tag she printed out. I went in today again to get something shipped. And jeez, I have super neat handwriting yet some lady still got the address & recipient's name wrong on the first try. TLDR: I heard being "detail oriented" is super hot right now, but some of the agents in this location literally refuse to double check their spelling before printing out the address tag for heaven's sake. Edit: to the lady who literally sent me a "compliment" calling me rude haha aren't you too. Yes I might be harsh, and no these girls aren't doing the job well. I understand they do a lot of name transcribing and that kind of stuff, but how come every time I went in they'd make multiple spelling mistakes? It would've taken them two seconds to double check before handing the tag to me. In the real world (if you work in trading for example) you'd literally lose out millions of dollars if you mess up a number/single digit. read more

Huge fan of UPS in general, but this store is here to take full advantage of you. They tried to sell us the biggest box they could find and up sell everything over $60 more than it needed to be. Oh hey, you need some tape for that box? Let me leave the tape you wish you could use on the counter (if you pay them another $50 of course) to throw some bags in a box and tape it closed. But no, instead buy a whole new roll to close up a single box. I've never had such a lousy group of people helping me at a UPS store, and I frequent them a lot.
