Lately this UPS at this location has been making it hard for to ship out stuff lately. I love Monica but this other manager (Asian) has been making it difficult and I have to travel across city to another one so I don't have to deal with him. He always questioning what I'm sending out with a look and gives me a hard time about my ID and I have been going to this location for I'm always sending this out from Depop and Poshmark. I needed 8 large boxes of paper shredded ASAP. After five days of trying to get a pickup scheduled for a local shredder, I despaired and got my neighbor to load them into his SUV and take it up to this store. All of the employees were lovely. Rude service from the Asian guy with the broken arm wearing gloves painted to look like skeleton bones and the fat Asian dude wearing glasses too small for his head. These are grown adults. They should know better. How hard is it to treat customers with respect? I get more respect from stray dogs and cats. What's their excuse? Maybe it's mental issues. They go out of their way to make customers angry or walk away feeling bad. Who does that? What kind of sick satisfaction do they get from that? Why would they want to pick a fight with random customers. They seriously should have a mental health clearance before working with the public. They made the store feel unsafe. Why go back? Be careful if the manager. She is dismissive and rude and takes ZERO time to figure out what a customer actually needs. I went To pick up a package and was dismissed by this manager lady. She was not interested in giving me any other options and took a phone call for 7 minutes and told the other workers :"I don't know what he wants but I don't have his package ". What I want is help to locate the package or some communication as to how to get to the package. What I don't want is abuse by a small business. You're better off in a fight with knives. This is the second time in six MONTHS that my OVERNIGHT package is DELAYED. I AM PISSED. The ONLY UPS store that has done this to me. It is disgusting, considering that the package was taken care of by 11:00 AM. I could MAYBE understand if it was LATE AFTERNOON, but to have it happen once AGAIN on a LONG WEEKEND is BS. I was just there not too long ago, the African American (sorry I didn't get his name) guy was really nice and friendly. However, I witnessed the Asian chubby guy speaking to him in a very condescending manner. It made me feel uncomfortable, and he looked kind of bummed if he's training, I understand he's going to make mistakes, but speaking to him in a condescending tone is unacceptable. He's a person and should be treated with respect, I don't understand what made the chubby Asian guy think that his behavior towards him was ok. Yesterday I had to ship something that absolutely had be delivered within two days. The first price I was given was very high, but I expected that given the rush. As the associate, Rick, was ringing up my order he had an idea of another way to ship my package (in a smaller box) that would be less expensive. It was! Significantly! Went to return an item from Amazon and the old guy told me it would cost $2.13 to print my return label. I told him I've never been charged to print a return label he said yes they always are supposed to. I look at the receipt and there's a $2 charge for computer rental and the charge for 8 x 11 copy. That's ridiculous. I googled if this is a normal thing and Amazon says that printing a return label is supposed to be at no cost to me. $2 is nothing but lying to your customer is bad service and bad business. Came in right now to get a notarized letter and older man at counter said they were not notarizing anymore. He proceeded to say they had stopped for the day with no further explanation. I thought he was joking with me and asked as of what time they had stop notarizing and he said "as of this moment"... still confused I asked was it only this location or all locations and he responded "this location and now." I've been to this UPS Store many times for Amazon drop-offs, plus notary and shipping services. Until today, my experiences were uneventful and satisfactory. I'm still scratching my head trying to understand why I was treated so rudely by one staff member this afternoon. He was very unprofessional from the second he acknowledged my presence to my departure. I always say thank you when someone provides good service, as I would expect to be thanked for bringing them my business. I got no hello, no thank you, just a snarky remark.
