I had ordered 200 gold foil business cards. I liked the quality and colour of the gold foil as well as the soft velvety touch of the card. I had a plain black background with gold font on it. It was unfortunate that our cards couldn't be printed right but the staff was very accommodating and nice. The first print came out with alignment issues. I was told somebody from their design team had changed the original template alignment that we had sent in. Regardless, they said there was a cutting issue. The gold foil font was basically lob sided and the spacing between the left and right side of the card wasn't equal. They said it can never be perfect in alignment but I did not expect perfection. This alignment issue was way too noticeable to the point I cannot hand out to people looking like that. I was confused there could be alignment issues as I've used other companies before and I've never noticed any alignment issues, at least not that I could ever notice. I'm very detail oriented so I would notice even the smallest, subtlest errors but I've had cards printed out for myself and others and I've never seen alignment issues for gold foil. Sure, I've had other issues like the gold foil missing in the writing and that's why I wanted to give this place a try since they seemed to have great reviews and the gold foil cards on their Yelp pics looked good. They offered to reprint it and we used the original template alignment that I had and I had asked them not to shift or change our design plate. Even with this template, we had the same alignment issue where the spacing was noticeably off, mostly on the left and right sides as well as the words slanting downwards. This time, some of the cards had some gold foil missing but I didn't mind that part since it didn't affect on too many cards and they say they always print extra. However, the alignment issue was on every single card and I couldn't use it and I had to return the order. I did appreciate them trying to work with me on this and trying their best to print it but perhaps it was just the type of machine they use where the cutting is off, I'm not sure.
