Excellent service, totally professional. Will always use it from now on, delivered on time and quality. read more

I have used SOC for my printing needs several times over the years, and every time I am extremely pleased with the results and service. I think they were first personally recommended to me by someone at my art/design school. Easy to communicate with, colors are accurate (which is usually a challenge with other places !), super large formats available, and quick, clean, very professional work. So much better than the more common printing services like Walgreens and Staples, in my experience. And I think the prices are definitely reasonable! read more

Ivan is legit. He saved me from some last minute printouts. I highly recommend going to him especially if you like instant gratification. He is knowledgable and will let you know what can be done and how soon. If you give your projects time, he can surely turnout something top notch. Would come back again read more

Ivan is very nice. I purchased a map from Etsy. He asked me to e-mail him the file I have, and he tried to max. the resolution of my file. It came out bury, and he offered to print another copy for me for free if I can find a better file, which I did (he suggested me to download it directly from Etsy on his computer)! The file came out great! Great service and product. This place is a little hidden, which is a bit easy to miss. read more

I called SOC Services and Ivan took my call. Mentioned to him what I needed by the weekend and sent him over an email of my items. When I picked it up my prints you can see they are pretty busy but they will get your order done ! Quality on my vinyl prints exceeded my expectations. Thank you SOC Services, keep up the good work! read more

This is definitely a one stop shop!! Ivan was able to laser cut this "Happy Birthday" sign out of 1/4 plywood. His laser machines can cut up to 62"x 38" read more

Always great service and turn around time my go to printer since I've met them highly recommend them

We were looking to print 500+ pages of music for a show and needed it ASAP. The print shop we regularly go to was closed so we did a quick Yelp by location and SOC Services was the first to pop up. Called Ivan, he gave us the lowdown, sent him the files at around 10, got them around noon. So quick, easy, and value for money. SOC Services is our new go-to! read more

Had two very last minute needs for my theme camp this year. A large customized mounted Facebook frame for a photo booth and a mounted android themed menu. Both 18 by 24. It was...pretty much the night before when I called Ivan, without much hope of success. He told me I could bring it in the morning and it would be done within just a couple of hours. For cheaper than Staples! When they were complete, the campies and I drove up to get the posters. It can be a bit confusing to find his office when you arrive. Just walk up the steep driveway, past the stinky dogwood trees, and you'll see a little door to the side. If you go in, you might not see anyone sitting at the desk, but just call or text and he will be right with you. My posters were perfect and he even cut out the hole for the photo frame as well. Super nice guy and quality, affordable work. Will definitely be using him again for future needs. Thanks for saving the day, Ivan! read more

Great products Btw if you pick up your order , I was really surprised to find that I wasn't looking for any office or storefront . It is a dirt lot , with a kinda crappy sign in front and then you drive up the dirt driveway , to find what looks like a residence with 2 buildings and about 8 cars . Kinda confusing it looks like an auto yard thing ? Then again what do I know about auto yards Anyhow , I guess somewhere on the premises they have printing etc.... My items I ordered were beautiful and done well, price was fair . Totally happy with them! Just got a bit frustrated when trying to find the location , I probably missed some where on the website or yelp someone said something to add about the odd location. Took me about 15 min to find the place . And not professional storefront at all. read more

I have to be totally honest. Ivan is a life saver when it comes to quick and good service. I laser cut with him because the turn around time is exceptional. It is PRICEY, be warned, but for the sake of convenience, that's the only negative. The 3D probt quality is also amazing, but again pricey. He has a lot of machinery and helpful staff to get your project done FAST! Definitely recommend if you're tight on time! read more

We designed some invites and needed them printed in card stock super fast! I contacted Ivan, and we stopped by his shop to explain what we needed. He printed and cut the invites and had them for us a few hours later! The quality of work was second to none! I was highly impressed with the amount of printers and presses that he had in his workshop. All I saw was state of the art equipment in his shop. I would highly recommend SOC to anyone! The quality, speed and price was absolutely better than I had hoped for. Great work Ivan! We'll definitely be using your services again. Thank you! read more

These guys kick arse. Needed a last minute print job cause China f'ed up and these guys came thru in the clutch. Ivan will go the extra mile for you, definitely worth the money to support a local printer. From 3-D printing to Blue Prints SOC has your back... read more

Andrew and Ivan were easy to work with. Fast, reliable, and good quality service. I had posters mounted on foam core and laminated for memorial service and was pressed for time. They were able to accommodate me. I ended up getting programs printed too. Fast and easy - sent the files (I used templates purchased on Etsy) and I was able to pick up my entire project in a couple days. read more

Ivan and his team knows how to get things done, they are fast with responding time and knows how important deadlines are.

It's 8:45pm and the library was said to close at 9:30pm, but when I got there, there was a sign reading it was closed. I was filled with anxiety as I had a few documents I needed to have printed for the next morning at 7:30am. Pardon my procrastination. Any who, after phone calling a few friends and family and stores nearby I was with no luck. I then found SOC Services and gave them a call, 30 minutes before closing time(10:00pm). Ivan greeted me happily, but stated he was actually out to run an errand but will be back within an hr and to give him a call then, despite it being after store hours. So here I am, wanting you all to know that Ivan kept his word and I was able to get the documents I needed and he was of such a great service. Please check him out !! He provides so many services at such an affordable price. This is coming from a college student! Edit: when I first called Ivan it was nearing 10, just for reference if this information is relevant for anyone read more

You know that feeling you get when you read so many good reviews about a place and you start doubting, you don't have to with this place. And also that feeling while working on your project and feel the world is falling apart, all you have to do is call Ivan and he'll tell you " yeah, I can print your work. Yeah, if you send it now it'll be done later the same day". I had him print 4 copies of an 11x11 book, he had the work done in less than a day, good quality, no mistakes. And let's talk about price, you cannot compare his prices at all. He understands the crazy hours architecture students or professionals go through. The fact that his shop is open on weekends and at those hours, is great. I never ever have written a yelp review, but this place is worth my time, and I want more people to know about it. Definitely recommend it read more

This place is fantastic. As an architecture student, working late into the night and into the wee hours of the morning is fairly common. Ivan is almost always available at these odd hours, where all other places are closed. Having gone to school for Architecture, he knows what we need, how it needs to be, and how quickly we need it. He's even gone beyond the call of duty on a couple occasions for me when the files I sent over were bad and he helped me fix them. He's got plenty of material, so all you need to do is send over your files if you need something laser cut or printed. The place looks somewhat intimidating, as it's a warehouse with little lighting outside, but I promise. He's really nice and you won't regret doing business here. read more

Great service! Saved me from missing a big deadline! Basically, I had a client that needed me to print out a large 24x36in print and I went to a Staples and FedEx on that Sunday and both locations failed to even print the document that I needed! It was late evening and I had no where else to turn. Luckily, I did a quick yelp search of someone that could possibly be able to help me out. I gave a call around 9pm and picked up the print an hour later and it was great! You're a life saver! Thanks so much for helping me out. read more

Very good printing. I like it a lot haha. Also this guy went to cal poly too so that's cool. It's funny how this place is called soc aka sick of carpe diem aka the art store by cpp. Noice. I recommend to come here forsure. Only downside is that color printing is like 70 cents a sheet :( read more

Solid business. They're location is Tough to find, but Ivan and his crew are quick and efficient with the prints. They provide quality prints and are open pretty late most of the time. Ivan was nice and helped make sure I get the proper colors for when I wanted to print my movie poster. read more

This place is great with awesome service. I work in architecture and that calls for crazy schedules and last minute sets to be printed. Usually print large 24"x36" sheets. I've sent out for prints as late as midnight (sometimes later) and Ivan has always come through. That's an absolute plus when you need late night last minute prints. and you can NOT beat the price!! Highly recommend! read more

I'm posting more as a witness to my friend's experience. In a sentence, Ivan is, hands down, the nicest and most accommodating printer I've ever (second-handedly) worked with. Admittedly, his site of business looks flat-out terrifying on the outside--especially at night. Ivan himself, on the other hand, is warm and inviting. When my friend wasn't satisfied with her first batch of prints, Ivan welcomed us to sit down on his desktop and work out adjustments on Photoshop ourselves. (We're artists, so we prefer doing that.) We had test prints done free of charge, and he endured having us stay at his workplace for at least another hour until we got the prints just right. He sat through the process with unfaltering patience, remaining kind and easygoing till the end. Price-wise, you won't get as low as sites like CatPrint or Smartpress, but those companies are corporate; Ivan is a regular guy who'll work his ass off for you whenever you need him. With how "professional" printers operate these days, the value of even being able to walk into his business past 6pm is priceless. Ivan has definitely won me over for any and all emergency jobs I'll have during the summer season. He is 110% the printer you're looking for. read more

This place is great they alway do wonderful In the most efficient time, if you need printing services at midnight no problem they can do that read more

Being an architecture student, I have printed many oversized prints. (I am five feet, so these things end up being big enough to be my expensive blankets). Other places such as ARC and Kinkos normally require 24- 48 hours for color prints (oversize). I started printing with Ivan this semester after many of my classmates called me stupid for not doing so earlier. Ivan, the owner, understands that sometimes we don't have the time to wait for these prints. He is my go-to guy when I need prints oversized quickly. I believe he also prints 11x17 and other stuff as well. He also stays up late if you need something printed. read more

I found Soc printing on Yelp, I like to support local business and gave them a try. Service is excellent and fast, price is slightly more than those online printing company. However, there is a lot more value. Ivan, owner of Sob. read more

Although it is a little hard to find especially at night, their service and attitude are top notch. You can send them the files you want to print before going to save time. Perfect for last minute printing. Will definitely use their service again. read more

Great customer service, fast turn around time, and quality products. The shop itself is located in a weird, kinda scary place but once you get inside, it's like an architecture student's dream. 3D printers, plotters, you name it! Ivan is fantastic. Highly recommend. read more

Super strange location. HaHa. BUT they are open when you need them. Super friendly and great quality. I'm glad I found this place. Highly recommended for all your printing needs. I will be back. Plus they actually answer the phone when you call it like those big chain printing places. If you need something printed, try this place out. Again it's a strange location with top quality service. read more

These people helped me out in a pinch after another company I trusted let me down during prime time. My cuts were ready so quickly that I didn't even have time to stress about my situation. I am sad that through my years of architecture school I didn't find these people sooner. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. read more

ORDER: My project called for a 16"x16" print on a 18"x24" overall page. TIP: I haven't tried, but I briefly looked over the other reviews and one person mentioned that this business even takes nightly calls. They're opened every day, and even sometimes long hours to get the job done. Who can really give that kind of amazing service these days? These guys. That's who. GOOD: + Timing: If you've watched the promo video here on Yelp, Ivan (owner) is a man of his word. I mean seriously. My print was so fast I couldn't believe it. + Quality: I was asked what kind of paper I needed it on, and honestly, I was in such a rush to get it that I asked Ivan to just use "whatever doesn't yellow over time, and is was true to color as possible--I trust your judgement". And i was completely rewarded for it. It came out beautifully. + Price: Don't even get me started. This was just...unbelievable. You'll just have to ask them for a quote yourself for your own project. + Customer service: Ivan is the nicest guy, prompt, and like I already said, a man of his word. What more could you ask for? BAD: - Location: If i HAD to complain about anything, I'd like to warn you that his business doesn't look like a traditional office space, and there's no business signage outside. Just GPS the location and give him call when you're there. You should see a white sign with the address numbers in large RED print on the wall outside. OVERALL: I wasn't paid to write this, I don't know Mr. Contreras personally, and this was my first time using SOC's services under major deadline pressure and anxiety. SOC Printing delivered above and beyond and it's only right I reciprocate. I truly found a diamond. Is it possible to call dibs on a service? I totally call dibs. This will be my go-to place from now on. I've already added their contact info to my phone. read more

This is my go to print site! Ivan is truly a design and print guru! I did most of my wedding printing here (bottle labels, seating chart, guestbook, party favor decor, etc.) and Ivan was always super nice, quick and accommodating in getting things done to look right, even at a moment's notice. He definitely helped save me during a few emergency situations! The location isn't the average looking print store (located on top of a small hill), but once you enter it's really cool inside! :) read more

Great services and quality products. Will do business again.. Highly recommended to anyone who prefers beer budget and champaign taste.
