To amuse himself during lockdown, my father wrote a short play, and I thought it would be a good idea to have it professionally printed to look like an old fashioned Samuel French script. I had just read the book, 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene, and needed to commit them to memory for a test.  I found a great, business card sized, image online and wanted to put it on a physical card so I could carry around and also give as gifts to others. I contacted several businesses near me on Yelp.  Hal at McDonald Design and Printing was the fastest and also quoted the best price.  I went with Hal and told him the options I wanted and he said that he could do it.  Within 30 minutes of messaging each other (he was extremely fast at replying) we were set.  He had quoted me two prices, one for same day and another for the end of the week.   I chose the later but little did I realize it would only come within 3 business days.  Quick! My daughter is obsessed with Encanto. My friend had a link to a burgeoning youth graphic designer who could make the infamous Encanto door. I'd gone back and forth with this young artist and conceptualized the perfect image. I came to Yelp (late on a Friday night) to source for printers that could help me. Hal responded immediately with a really good price point. On Saturday morning, Hal contacted me and asked for the image and let me know that we'd have resolution issues and committed to working with me to get the best size possible. Armed with that information I went back to the designer and adjusted the resolution and pixel. Hal emailed and called me on Sunday morning and told me the best size to make the design come to life!
