Takes good service & communication to get me to pay through email, scary. All in one day. Even help modified my print to exceed quality.

The team at McDonald Design & Printing was incredibly responsive, professional, and diligent in creating my real estate brochures and amenities sheets. The finished materials were so well received that I actually ran out! The quality of the photography and printing, and the way they elevated my marketing materials to a true luxury standard, was fantastic. Just as importantly, their advice and guidance before I submitted my materials were invaluable. I highly recommend the team at McDonald Design & Printing and look forward to working with them again in the future. read more

I'd give them more than 5 stars I would. They were the fastest, the best value, and delivered my items for free even though I only was able to give them 2-3 days notice. On top of that I ordered banners, foam core posters, and several other types of printed products, and they got them all finished, and looking amazing. Two thumbs up read more

We had an emergency printing job at late weekday hour for Hal and we really had no other options other than large commercial printers that wouldn't take below a bulk amount of prints. Hal rescued us from this predicament. All the way from the first call to delivering our print job to our home in the valley the next morning, the process was seamless and simply outstanding. Also, Hal is clearly very knowledgeable about the printing world and unlike Staples or other stores we went to, he immediately understood our lingo and asked all the relevant and right questions. Therefore, the result was of no surprise. Even if he is quite a bit out of our way, we will go back to him for any future printing needs. Thanks Hal! read more

I plan to reorder next year from this printer. They promised a quick delivery, and not only did they deliver on time, but they hand delivered it to the event site to ensure they arrived on time. My organization usually receives ads at the last minute, so we get our program agenda books printed at the last minute. The attendees all complimented us on the books and wanted to know where we got them printed. The binding of the 48-page book looked terrific! I did not realize they printed other items, too, so I plan to look into this. And I have to add the best price in town too! read more

This is a little overdue, but Hal and Phyllis at McDonald Design & Printing helped me out when I needed a 70th birthday gift for my father in May. To amuse himself during lockdown, my father wrote a short play, and I thought it would be a good idea to have it professionally printed to look like an old fashioned Samuel French script. When I called Hal he answered all of my questions and also helped intuit what I needed (since I'm clueless). When I sent the pdf to Phyllis, she helped me get the sizing correct so that everything would fit on smaller pages. The finished product was exactly what I was looking for -- plus, I was thrilled to find a printer in the area that didn't charge for a minimum amount of scripts! They even designed a little illustration for the front cover AND hand delivered the script to my door. Dad was thrilled! read more

Can't say enough great things about Hal and his company. Immediate response on quote and beat everyone's prices. Crazy fast turnaround and even delivered it within less than 24 hours. This was for a high school team and we will definitely be adding his name to our list of preferred vendors. Excellent service and work. read more

I had just read the book, 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene, and needed to commit them to memory for a test.  I found a great, business card sized, image online and wanted to put it on a physical card so I could carry around and also give as gifts to others. I contacted several businesses near me on Yelp.  Hal at McDonald Design and Printing was the fastest and also quoted the best price.  I went with Hal and told him the options I wanted and he said that he could do it.  Within 30 minutes of messaging each other (he was extremely fast at replying) we were set.  He had quoted me two prices, one for same day and another for the end of the week.   I chose the later but little did I realize it would only come within 3 business days.  Quick! I will go with Hal again for any future business card needs.  The quality of the cards and his service are phenomenal.  His prices also cannot be beat. Thanks Hal! read more

My daughter is obsessed with Encanto. My friend had a link to a burgeoning youth graphic designer who could make the infamous Encanto door. I'd gone back and forth with this young artist and conceptualized the perfect image. I came to Yelp (late on a Friday night) to source for printers that could help me. Hal responded immediately with a really good price point. On Saturday morning, Hal contacted me and asked for the image and let me know that we'd have resolution issues and committed to working with me to get the best size possible. Armed with that information I went back to the designer and adjusted the resolution and pixel. Hal emailed and called me on Sunday morning and told me the best size to make the design come to life! By Monday afternoon, I had a print tracking number -- it was delievered on Tuesday, and my daughter's birthday was Wednesday. The entire process was so easy with Hal. He's so responsive and thoughtful and compassionate to my needs. I wanted to make my kids' birthday special and he helped me accomplish that. The vinyl banner was beautiful, good quality, and well printed. For any major printing needs -- I will be returning to this amazing local business. read more

I just had the best experience with this company so I had to come write a review. I called Hal this afternoon to see if he could turn a job around for me by noon tomorrow. 4 Easel boards for a conference I'm facilitating. He was extremely responsive. Got my email and let me know he'd work on it right away. He made a few adjustments to the artwork and sent proofs to me in les than an hour. Then this man hand delivered the items to me, packaged perfectly for travel, in a matter of a few hours. I opened them and they look beautiful too. All around great experience. 10/10 highly recommend. read more

Amazing service. Got a beautiful sign made quickly and the owner was so helpful. Highly recommend!

After finding out about a last-minute meeting that I needed print work done for right away, I called and spoke to Hal in the later evening. I needed the printing for the next morning. He answered all my questions and responded to my emails very promptly. The next morning he personally delivered the work to me himself so that I could have what I needed on time for my meeting. Really above and beyond service! The magazines he printed for me turned out great quality. I would absolutely use his company again and would recommend him for any printing needs. read more

Truly exceptional service and professionalism. I called past 8pm with an urgent business card printing because a different printer botched the first set, and Hal assured me he'd have them delivered by 8pm the next day -- less than 24 hours later! Instead, Hal had perfectly delivered cards by 2:30pm. I was blown away that the cards were delivered so early and that they were printed so nicely. I felt that the fee he charged was quite reasonable for the level of quality in the cards and the rapid timeframe as well. I can't recommend Hal and McDonald printing enough. read more

It has been a pleasure working with Phyllis and the McDonald design team. I usually like to try to do things myself, but soon realized my own designing skills needed improvement. I first started with having her design my business cards and was impressed how great the final product looked! Since then, she's done an amazing job designing my flyers, banners, and continues to play a vital role in helping me establish my new brand. Not only that, the customer service has been great and they've worked with my multiple times on getting things done when I was on a short timeline.
