Four months later I have no sign, and they are still holding onto all of my money and refusing to refund me the money I am owed. Before I placed the order, I asked their rep directly whether the sign would be acceptable to the City. He wrote back that he had prepared the quote "so that it aligns with Westlake village sign restrictions," and that the sign "shouldn't be an issue." I also asked, in writing and before paying anything, what the minimum deposit could be in case the City denied the request -- I said specifically that we did not want to spend 50% and then have the city deny it. Nobody told me that the permit and survey charges would be kept regardless of the outcome. They sent a credit card authorization form and took 50%. In August they told me the sign could not be permitted as designed, that it would require a master sign program modification by the property owner, and that Front Signs was "unable to help with this." I asked for a refund on August 7. On August 10 their rep agreed, with no conditions, and asked where to mail the check and who to make it out to. The check never arrived. When I followed up in September, I was told the refund had been reduced by $1,050 -- $700 for a permit that was never issued, and $350 for a site visit where their representative was at my property for only a few minutes. The deduction was decided internally in August. I was never told about it. The rep who made all of these promises no longer works there. I offered to pay a reasonable amount for the site visit. They refused, and told me they would send the bill to collections. My advice: get every representation about permits in writing, find out exactly what is refundable before you pay anything, and think hard before putting 50% down with this company but better never hire them!!!

They could always solve all of my industrial Tool and Hardware needs. Over the years I have bought machine tools, burs, collets. drills as well as every conceivable type of fastener. Unfortunately they changed ownership in 2017. One of the employees bought the business. It has since deteriorated to the point that they open and close when they please with out regard to there posted business hours. Its difficult to communicate with some of the employees now as well. They are not knowledgable. Not to mention they moved the business to a location near the airport and didn't really tell anyone. Plus they left their signage on the old building for months which was even more confusing. They also abandoned there website at this time. Its very sad to see a business with such a good reputation go down hill.

I have done a few other fung Shui sessions with other companies and have NEVER paid more than $480. Now this included, a pre consultation over the phone, a full in house visit consultation, a recording of session, a full written report, and a follow up. Sophia only cares about the money. I paid $750 for my consultation that was a little bit over 2hrs. She brings a map of your home (which was provided to her), she walked around and did some markings on it. Then, she sat down and she told me the things she marked and what I needed to do. Honestly, I do not think she knows what she is doing. She just pulled things out her behind the entire time. All I was told was to get dumbbells and add water in big trash bins with water pump to the side of my house. You better take good notes because she will never give you anything in writing or resources to follow. She will never follow up with you. Once she cashes your check she is happy and disappears from your life. My house is not that big, $750 dollars felt like a lot for a two hour job since the beginning when I booked my appointment. However, I proceeded with my session because I really thought she would be great given her price. I was wrong, got ripped off, and had to pay someone else to do a real dung shui session for my new home. I recommend you stay away from this scammer, save your money, do fung shui yourself, or hire someone who has true knowledge of fung shui.

I stumbled upon some brilliant writing of Maya's in Huffpost and really loved her style. The cherry on top was when I found out she did freelance work as I needed help with some writing projects for my business. Maya is AMAZING. She is so professional, prompt and almost magic with her ability to hone in just how to help you. She took a project that had been gathering dust for 2 or 3 years and brought it back to life. It was such great work. She is definitely my go to girl and I have used her for several projects. Highly recommend!!

I Contacted Maya and she responded quickly. She was very patient with me as halfway through I got cold feet and didn't follow through with my essay... I decided I needed to muster up more strength within myself in order to sit down and write this (daunting) personal explanation of my life. So, around the first of the year I got a very kind email from her offering encouragement and support.. I knew that was a sign that I needed to get my gears going. I wrote up the essay, contacted Maya and sent her my paper. She worked her MAGIC and within a couple weeks I had my paper back. I read it, my eyes filled with tears. It was BEAUTIFUL. It had all of my writing in it and edited in a way that just made it flow. She offered some suggestions (which I followed), I sent it back, she worked her magic and sent me the final draft. It was even more beautiful the second time. I cannot express my appreciation enough. She did exactly everything she said and made the process SO EASY! I will highly recommend her, forever!
