She corresponded via email back and forth until making sure the design was to my liking! I appreciate those that care about their professionalism and even manage to be friendly simultaneously!! All the reviews about Kristal Graphics here on Yelp are great and they certainly convinced me to use their services. Unfortunately, I feel that these reviews are deceiving. Don't get me wrong, the front desk girls are fantastic and personable, especially Crystal, but Munna is all business and comes off rude. I am a graphic designer and have been looking for a great print shop to build a business relationship with. I have researched a dozen shops around Woodland Hills and found two that looked promising due to great Yelp reviews. It was a decision between Minuteman Press or Kristal Graphics. My decision to go with KG was based on 4 things: 1. fast quote/email response, 2. reasonable prices (not the lowest), 3. great reviews and 4. open on Saturday from 10-1 (which turns out to be a big fat lie). I had them print 80 sets of wedding invitations on a Friday, taking advantage of their slogan "same day services with no extra charge" because the invitations had to go out the following Monday. The invitation set included 3 cards, a belly band and envelope liner. 20 belly bands and 20 envelope liners were ruined. A quarter of the invites couldn't be completed. You think a print shop would do quality control but KG does not. As soon as they are printed and cut, they are wrapped in a plastic that closely resembles saran wrap and handed to you. Only 2 of the 3 cards was completed when I came for the pick up. I waited an extra 20 mins for them to print and cut the last card. I called KG the next day, which was a Saturday, to give them a heads up that I will be dropping in for some replacement prints. Munna answers, as I described my problem, he slashes out and gets defensive saying there is nothing he can do on a Saturday because the store is closed (even though they are listed open). He was not even a bit apologetic. I asked to be compensated a little bit for the trouble and all he could tell me was I can't make any promises. If your product isn't up to the customer's standards, wouldn't you try to make it up to them? What I have learned working with KG: Munna, the owner, does not care about his customers. I will never send them another project. Long story short: 1. KG does not handle problems on a professional level 2. No quality control 3. They are not open on Saturday UPDATE After this review has been posted, Munna has desperately tried to make things better. I'm happy that I got his attention but even with the refund, there's no way I'd use his services again. I will not set myself up to get yelled at. I've found other print shops that are happy to work with me. Thanks! read more

I was a little wary at first because the quote for my 5x7 cards (due at an Oscars event in Beverly Hills the next morning) was 1/2 what Kinko's had quoted me. But after going in (with 3 small children who were treated wonderfully) and meeting Crystal, I knew I was in good hands. She was very professional and kind. Bad customer service, bad communication, and unfriendly attitudes here. I called asking if I can print a certificate and use their check in discount of 10%. He said yes come by we can print that for you, I clarified I needed a (singular) certificate, and most people don't order bulk certificates... Anyway when I came in they told me they wouldn't do an order that small. Tried to blame the situation on me saying they thought I needed a bulk order even though I clarified that wasn't the case on the phone. These guys are in the back of a flower shop and it's a weird layout. No one even said their name on the phone or when I came in, and didn't recommend a place to go to get this printed because they wouldn't do it. I won't be coming back here again or getting anything done with them and wouldn't recommend anyone too either! Wish they were nice enough to suggest a spot and not try and make me feel bad or dumb for needing 1 certificate printed, which I said on the phone. So thanks for saying you'd do something you didn't and then trying to make me feel bad. That's my experience, I'm Sure if I needed 10,000 copies they'd love me but you should treat every potential customer with respect. read more

This review has been seriously long overdue. Overdue about 3 years unfortunately. My then Marketing Coordinator found Kristal Graphics on a last minute bind for a trade show in Vegas through yelp. After mocking up our display, we noticed that one of our main pop-up banners broke and couldn't wait for an online order since we needed to pack everything on a pallet to go out in a couple of days. We stopped by on a whim and struck gold! Not only did Munna handle everything personally, he was on time and truly saved the day. On the same first visit, we noticed bags that he can print and several other promotional items for our department. He's done such a great job that we now get most of, if not all of our collateral items through them! They are fast, conveniently located and reasonably priced. I've never had any issues meeting my deadline and Munna's team truly does work very hard to ensure our needs are always met. I have been working with this print shop personally for awhile and now my company has started using them for all our marketing services. I always recommend this shop to anyone who needs printing or promotional items and I decided it's time to let the Yelpers know as well. Crystal and Munna are hard workers and make sure to get our orders done in a timely manner. If anything goes wrong, they will bend backwards to fix it. Customer Service is their priority. I've done business cards, flyers, posters, brochures and will start doing promotional items with them. One downside is their billing. They send invoices late. Sometimes weeks, sometimes months later. Kristal Graphics publishes our organization's monthly color newsletter on a nice heavy paper stock with a semi-gloss (satin?) finish. Plus we send our mailing list to Kristal Graphics, who then addresses each newsletter and sends all of them to our members via first class mail. Krystal Graphics is a great printing shop. I'm an Interior Designer and needed them to print my portfolio for an important meeting on Thursday. I came in on Monday and worked with Crystal who showed me the best way to format the document for printing and hole punching.
