Excellent service! High quality printing! I'm not a graphic designer; I came to J-N-K because I had created a program booklet for my mom's celebration of life services and wanted it printed. It was a pretty simple document: a bi-fold document laid out on 8.5" x 11" paper in landscape mode. I ran a sample test on my home printer and knew right away that I wanted it professionally finished. But still, I was a bit unsure about the specifics of how to do it and where to go. So I contacted J-N-K and they really took the time to help me by educating me on the process. Hands down the best place to get your printing needs done. I had been shopping around because we needed some flyers done for an event were having in 3 days! Every other print shop I had called wasn't sure if they would be able to get it done on time or were charging a crazy amount for needed it in such short notice. It has taken me over 2 years to post this, but I really have been meaning to. The service here wass very professional and friendly. When I received my roll of lip balm labels, I was in awe - they were so PRETTY. I was extremely happy until I realized they didn't quite fit on my product, partially due to the perforated seal at the top....and they didn't stick very well. Since I've had them, I've had issues with the adhesive so I've used super glue, regular glue, and one other special adhesive. Between the cutting to make them fit and the application of glue, I became wary and barely use them. It's a shame because they are seriously amazing-looking. If anyone who works there can give me some pointers, I'd be so happy. Otherwise, I just have to have new ones created - hopefully with a more powerful stick. read more

My 23-year-old son was off to a convention, and needed business cards for his fledging website. Naturally, he waited till the last minute. I hired a few graphic artists off Craigslist to create a logo. What a rip-off -- to put it mildly. In a panic, I turned to Yelp and found J-n-K Services. I called, spoke to Jave, and she hooked me up with her in-house designer Alan. Within a few hours, Alan had designed the PERFECT business card. He created a logo that captured the spirit of my son's blog. The typography and colors and layout were creative and unique. Plus, Alan was incredibly patient with this incredibly fussy, demanding, overanxious mom as I requested revisions. ("A little up... A little to the right...") Two days later, my son picked up his business cards. The paper stock was top-quality, the color reproduction dead-on. I recently ordered business cards from this place because I prefer to pay extra to work with local businesses and have always felt there's better quality in doing so. The owner Jave was friendly enough when I met her but when I asked for a printed proof so I could approve the artwork she said it wasn't possible. I found this surprising but I took her word for it that the cards looked great so went forward with the transaction. When I got them back they were dark and the print was way too small - something impossible to determine on a computer screen - you really need a printed proof to know what you're getting. After a few days I really felt like I didn't get what I was expecting and asked if they could be reprinted. I was told it was "impossible" to do for free, but they would reprint at a slightly reduced price. No thanks. About a week later I noticed the finish on the cards was scratched significantly that they started looking quite shabby, and this was just being in my wallet. I contacted Jave about this and she offered to give me samples of other finishes to try out so I could pick a better one in the future. Good idea and fair enough, but I was now stuck with cards that were dark, had tiny print, and looked scratched - and at a premium price. To be fair, the quality of the printing was very good. I told her politely that if she would reprint the cards I would be happy to continue doing business with her. She said she couldn't do it. When people say "I can't" they generally mean "I won't". Fair enough. I'm taking my business elsewhere. On a side note, a colleague of mine got his business cards online. The quality is as good, if not better because they don't scratch, they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee policy, and the cost is way cheaper. I hate to take my business away from local and to an online operation, but given this experience, that's exactly what I'm going to do. read more

I have been using JNK Services since 1997. I had a multiple unit franchise business in the San Fernando Valley Jave and her team did all of our daily use (biz cards, stationary, multi-page order forms etc..) along with our larger marketing projects which included large posters, banners and other promotional marketing collateral. We used JNK for this type of work for until we sold the business in 2009. In 2008 I got married and we had JNK help create our wedding invitations. My wife is an event producer and we had other companies who my wife had worked with in the past who wanted to help us with the invites. My wife had given these companies lot's of business and they were willing to give us a great deal. I told my wife before she chooses let's see what Jave can come up with as far as design ideas. Low and behold we ended up using Jave's Team again for our wedding invites. They came out incredible and my wife who has "5 star" taste thought the invitations were one of the highlights.
