I needed 25 yard signs and wire stands. They had the order ready and delivered it to me by the end of the week. I later realized they had given me 5 extra signs as well. I'm not sure if that was on purpose or not but either way I really appreciated it and it was a pleasant surprise. The quality was amazing! They looked great even after being outside for over a month. I was scared the quality of my art was low resolution but it looked amazing once it was printed. Berj was so nice, helpful, and responsive! On entering my first impression is that the store looks haphazard and messy, but the staff helped me so quickly that I was in and out probably in less than 60 seconds so hey if they are good at what they do then I don't care how the place looks! (Serviced 06/23/26 TU @ 4:15pm): This depot was strictly for office business!…read more It's been over a decade since I last visited Office Depot's La Crescenta location, but the timing was perfect because I was in the area for a separate reason. With all of the consolidation in the office supplies industry over the past couple of decades, I think the only ones left standing were Office Depot, Staples, and to a lesser extent FedEx, with companies such as Office Max and Kinko's having been absorbed from competitors. I've been making extended copies at my local Staples, but the costs have continuously gone up as they closed in on a dollar a page on heavy-weight paper which I really didn't need. So, I opted to try the competitor in hopes of saving some money. Was I able to deposit some money back into the bank after using this office store from my printing needs!? PURCHASE(S) 8.5"x11" Double-Sided Color Printouts ($0.70 x130): I needed to print a recent summary inspection report for an investment property we acquired to give to our general contractor as a checklist of things to focus on and repair over time. Although the per-page rate was slightly cheaper than what I've experienced, it wasn't that much different to go somewhat out of my way. The printing quality was fine, the speed was a tad slow, but it got the job done. SERVICE At this time, there were only two employees, and I was the only customer. With no salutations from either of them, I easily headed towards the self-service copy center, checked out the machines, read whatever signage there was as to how the machines worked and payment, and then attempted to make copies. Nope; something went wrong! I tried several times on the same machine to no avail. I went to another copier and finally things were working properly. After about ten minutes, my print job was done, I paid at the machine, I asked a young male salesperson for a bag to put my copies in, and I casually walked out the door. For my needs, all of this was fine, but I sorely hoped this wasn't the norm. PARKING (FREE): They had their own private spacious lot - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A large boxy warehouse store filled wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling and multitudes of aisles stocked with a ton of various office supplies of anything you could imagine. There was plenty of space between the aisles, shelves, and floor displays, with a smattering of promotional ads/posters about. Minimal natural lighting came through the large front windows and doors while soul-sucking fluorescent electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There weren't any TVs while I couldn't recall any background music. ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL La Crescenta's Office Depot served its purpose, but for future office service needs, I'll more than likely return to a Staples closer to me. I didn't find much differentiation between the two brands, I had a few Staples closer to me and where I normally was, and this particular location was simply dreadful in feeling like all life was sucked out of it. I walked around, and I saw nothing (even less!) that I couldn't get at Staples. The printing prices may've been slightly less, but it wasn't worth it. And, the service was mostly non-existent and hidden. I found good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $100.00 BEFORE any discounts, points usage, and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 3.0 STARS

I usually go to Staples or FedEx Kinko's for my printing needs. I was driving home a couple of weeks ago and happened to catch this business out of the corner of my eye. I looked up the reviews on here and everywhere else I could. The amount of positive experiences with the kinds of issues that came up, and were efficiently dealt with, seemed too good to be true. I decided to give them a test run with basic reprints of a flyer of mine. They suggested a couple slight changes that streamlined the flyer further and had all the copies made in what seemed a blink of the eye. They passed with flying colors and this will be my go-to printing source from now on. read more

As my move to a bigger location was in progress, j knew I had to upgrade some of my marketing materials. I called and made an appointment with Robert for some graphic design and print work. We decided to go with a newer looking logo, new business cards, banner to hang and some presentation folders. After all the artwork was sent in a timely manner, we started printing. They told me the turn around time would be 3 business days and they got everything to me in 2 days! My boss was looking for a company to do our direct mailing campaigns. I did a google search and found Flyer Works. Their reviews looked promising and after I talked to a consultant I was convinced they were the ones to go with because they had way more knowledge about what I wanted than the other companies I called. I found out that we can actually do EDDM which was way cheaper than the campaign we actually wanted to do. The process was so smooth and easy. We will be back next month for our next campaign! On a Sunday afternoon in mid December 2019 I ordered some postcards from this company through their…read morewebsite. There was an option to check stating that some design work might need to be done to finalize the order. I checked this button, hoping they could look over my design to confirm it would fit their template before printing. Although, I uploaded my design alright I was concerned that it might not fit on their template, since there was some white space left around the template after I uploaded. I thought by checking this box that they would check to make sure the design looked good before sending it to the printer. On Monday morning while I was at work, I received a voicemail on my phone requesting a call back. The person who left the message said he just wanted to check with me since I had checked the box that some proofing/design work might need to be done so he wanted to get my input before sending it to the printer. By the time I called back the gentleman I spoke with, (the same one who left the voicemail) told me that he had already submitted it to be printed. I told him I was unsure if my design would fit and he recommended to just see how they turn out then. I told him ok, and just hoped for the best then. He said the work would be done in a few days and on that date I called back to confirm. I got no answer I continued to call about 3-4 times during the time they were supposed to be open. Then, after I got off of work I called again and the gentleman picked and said they were ready. When I showed up he helped me immediately, but just handed me a sealed box with my order in it. I could tell he was busy and he didn't offer to show me the prints so I just went home with the order sealed. When I got home I realized that all of the postcards had a slight white border around them that I did not want and that looked terrible. Some were also slightly lop-sided and a handful of them were glued together with some greasy sticky film that was so sticky I was unable to wipe off. Please see the photos I added for reference. I was so disappointed with the quality of the work that I decided not to go back. I wasn't going to leave this review because the company is small. However, it is March 3, 2020 and this company has sent me emails for the last 3 months requesting a review or offering to help if I have a problem with my order. I deleted the emails each time and decided if they were going to email me one more time that I would post this review. Well, although I have a problem with my order I already dealt with it by hand trimming all 250 postcards on a paper cutter and throwing away the sticky ones into the trash. I did not have time to have them reprinted because I was giving them out in Christmas cards that same week. I do not need a discount or some other accommodation, but I am writing this review today to let others know that I do not recommend this company for postcard printing or even general reliability. If they had just waited for me to call back to explain that I was concerned that the picture might not have fit then I could've fixed the size of the image and then sent it to them that night. It certainly would've prevented me from having to hand cut all of the postcards just to make them look nice enough to give out. I have also unsubscribed from Venum Graphics, Inc. marketing emails even though I never actually signed up for them to begin with...I am annoyed that this company would keep my email in their system for marketing purposes. I have since ordered postcards from Club Flyers ( an online shop based in Florida) and find the quality of the images appear to be better, in addition to the quality of the paper I got at this place. Although the postcards I ordered from both companies are the same thickness, the ones at Club Flyers are more stiff. So, unfortunately I do not recommend this company and I will not be using them again.

One Star and Eight Ruined Foam Boards…read more I'm someone who has worked with print shops for many years, so I couldn't just ignore this experience with Guru Print. I'm not the type to leave reviews or rate other people's work -- but, as they say, there's a first time for everything. And this is exactly that case. Because what I encountered here was not work, and not professionalism, but a careless, dismissive attitude toward a client's work -- combined with an apparent inability (or unwillingness) to spend even two minutes making sure the final result looks even remotely acceptable. -1 star: The website and file upload circus The print shop initially caught my attention thanks to its strong good rating and a fairly decent-looking website. After carefully reviewing the file submission requirements, I was genuinely pleased to see that everything could be done remotely -- quick, convenient, and hassle-free. Or so it seemed. I followed all stated requirements precisely: CMYK profile, PDF format, files up to 200 MB. That's when the fun began. The website simply refused to accept the files -- freezing, throwing errors, and effectively telling me to figure it out myself. After some time, it became clear that the advertised 200 MB limit does not actually exist. In reality, the system only accepts files significantly smaller than that -- something conveniently not mentioned anywhere. After nearly an hour of wrestling with PDFs, compressing files from 180 MB down to 50-80 MB each, I found myself literally hoping and praying that each upload would make it into the paid online cart. -1 star: Communication (or lack thereof) Client communication deserves a separate mention. I'm not a fluent English speaker, and phone calls already come with a certain level of stress -- because the outcome depends not only on my language skills, but also on a basic level of patience and courtesy from the person on the other end. After submitting the files and waiting a reasonable amount of time (about two to three hours), I called with a very simple question: when will my boards be ready, and when can I pick them up? Since I paid extra for same-day printing, I only needed to know when I should get in the car and drive over. The response? Rude, unhelpful, and completely uninformed. The person on the phone didn't know my order number and, frankly, seemed to know nothing at all. The only thing I got out of that call was: "You'll get an email when it's ready," along with a noticeable dose of irritation. As a result, I ended up sitting in my car near the printing office, waiting -- because if that email had arrived an hour and a half before closing, I simply wouldn't have made it in time. -1 star: Finding the place The establishment has no sign, no plaque, no indication whatsoever that a print shop exists in the building. I understand this is a production facility, not a showroom -- but a small sign by the door, or even a basic written instruction on how to find the place, would've gone a long way. Consider it a courtesy to your clients. Nothing more. Instead, I had to wait outside until someone exited the building just to get in. Then I walked into a tattoo shop (which, by the way, had no trouble putting up a clear sign). The tattoo shop staff kindly pointed me to an unmarked, anonymous door -- behind which, apparently, Guru Print was hiding all along. -1 star: The final result Finally, I picked up my boards and felt a moment of relief. I honestly thought the final result would be so good that it would make everything else fade into the past.That illusion lasted about five seconds. I opened the first board and immediately noticed that the gray color had a strong green tint. I was in a rush, and there was no time to stand by my car unwrapping all eight boards -- let alone start a reprint. The boards were supposed to be displayed the very next morning at an event in another city. That's exactly why I chose extra for same-day printing. The entire drive home I kept wondering what I had done wrong -- the layout, the color, the color profile. Surely it must have been my mistake It wasn't Once home, I unpacked the remaining boards and realized the situation was even worse. Some of the supposedly black-and-white boards had turned purple, others blue, and the rest green. Same settings. Same color profiles. Completely different results. To make matters worse, some boards were cut so poorly it looked like they'd been chewed up by dull scissors in the dark. That's how this story ended I genuinely don't understand how this place has so many positive reviews. I hope mine stands out from the sea of praise and gives potential customers at least a moment of pause. If you care about your work -- and if the final result matters to you -- I would strongly recommend staying away from this place.
