I walked in to get help and the girl was ready to help and the other lady said no to go use the self serve scanner. I asked why and she said cause she's busy although she was ready to help me. I went to the self serve scanner and start doing it myself and two other people walked in and she helped them. So why couldn't she help me is the question and they were served. I felt discriminated and couldn't understand why I couldn't get her help and they did. This was unacceptable and bad service. And don't tell me to go somewhere else when the girl was ready to help. My experience was bad!!! I went to take some passport picture for my underage kids had them sent digital unfortunately had no used of them. since they are minors. Went back ask them if they can print them out. told me I had to pay full price again. Even though they still had them on the camera. I ask them if it was possible to pay the difference but they didn't want to. Almost 20$ each! When Walgreens is only 16$ and free digitals. Yup not going Back!!!! read more

The employees are very friendly, kind and helpful You can return your amazon packages here in addition to all of the services that they offer We came in for a LiveScan and they did it right away. I went in today with a large Amazon return. I had to purchase a box because the cooler I returned was too big. Victoria helped me out she was very nice, and honest. She told me the box was going to be expensive but if I contacted Amazon they could reimburse me. She didn't have to tell me that little trick, I would have never known but I did contact Amazon and I will receive my reimbursement in 5-7 days. This is probably the best UPS store in the Central Valley for the past 3 years I have been coming here and I never had to wait for more than 10 mins if that. The staff here are nice and courteous. Incompetent staff not respecting simple customer privacy rules... if you need to scan a document, it's $1 a page and these dummies feel it's ok to see your private documents, come here. And if you ask, out right for your privacy to be respected, they'll have nasty attitudes, and say if you're not comfortable... . So I did leave and didnt finish what I needed to scan. Update: I called different site to clarify the scanning situation. The documents are scanned INTO the UPS email, saved, (I'd assume) THEN scanned to your personal email. So pretty much this is a possible breach of privacy and confidentiality!!! If private documents are violated, it could ruin someone's life! Sorry, not sorry, no thank you! read more

Did you know they have Notary services at the UPS store? I didn't until I googled it.. ha. I called and spoke with a very nice lady and she indicated there was a Notary on site and the service was 15.00 per signature. What a deal and life saver. Who knew!! P.s. I called around on a Saturday morning and Bank of America has a waitlist, said they would call me back and didn't. Bank of the West is only open until 12 on Saturdays but they had one available. I heartily endorse this store and their courteous, competent owner and employees. I moved to Manteca in June, 2010, on a short-term basis and promptly rented a PO Box at this location (box #108, yo!), given that I've had recent similar good experiences with the UPS store in Bellevue, WA and Las Vegas, NV. Given that I'm on the road A LOT for work, my 'snail mail' needs to keep up with me and I'm pretty much an expert at doing this. The Manteca UPS store stands apart from all others. The people here are friendly and they offer exceptional customer service. I receive a lot of overnight packages, and the staff promptly receives them and sends me a text message to let me know that a package has arrived and is ready for pick up (this service only costs $2 a month extra on top of your PO Box rental, and, if you receive a lot of deliveries, it is WELL worth the price). I use USPS to send a lot of certified mail, and these guys do everything that they do at the US Post office. Also, I often have big scanning or printing projects that would cause my little desktop printer/scanner to explode. This UPS store has a state-of-the-art office printer/scanner and can quickly spit out scan jobs and printing jobs -- plus you get a discount when you're a PO Box holder. No need to go to FedEx Office/Kinkos. Right now I'm transitioning out of Manteca, and I'm kinda going around and scouting out new locations and projects. The UPS store just took my phone call and are packing up 2 weeks worth of my mail and overnighting it to me down here to my hotel in San Diego -- pretty cool, right? Well it's not that easy getting in and out of a car or a store with three packages and an 8 month old baby in a stroller. I was greeted by a friendly girl Who said I would be next. She is the only reason this place is getting any stars at all. However I was skipped by a man who came to help and left holding my packages. This review will detail out issues with the store management / owner, quality of the work performed by the store management / owner and the store management / owner responsiveness to the customer. Requested that the UPS store package and ship a very expensive piece of electronics. A custom packaging job as the original shipping contain had been tossed out years ago. The job was quoted and the work was performed by the UPS store with the owner noting that he had personally done the packaging. The package was shipped and received, the receiver noted that the electronics were heavily damaged upon receipt, root cause being improper packaging and insufficient amounts of packing material to protect the electronics. Claim was filed by the store with a 8-10 work day processing time cited by the owner, real processing time was 5 1/2 weeks. The refund being offered back by the store management / owner was $30 less than the total cost of the transaction with the owner citing that the cost of insurance was not a reimbursable expense. Calls in to UPS corporate suggest that the entire transaction cost should have been refunded to the customer a the payment to the local UPS store reflected that. A fraud claim has been opened with UPS. Report from UPS is that the payment they are sending the UPS store is larger than refund I received Recommendations - - If one elects to have this store do a custom packaging job, inspect the work, materials being used and qty of packing material before they seal the container. - do not accept the store management / owner offer to do the "...heavy lifting..." to process the insurance claim for the customer. This removes the customer from the details on what is taking place with UPS. - There are other options in the area, get multiple quotes by exploring those options. read more

Honestly not up to the rest of your standards. i love these people because they work with you, but this time they really dropped the ball. now I have a bunch of useless documents that outed me $10 a stamp. read more

Not a real friendly location. Went to print a few times (mainly because Staples was backed up) and each time something came up that did not make my experiences pleasant. One time an employee was quite rude & tried to charge me for using the computer to print something from my usb (they didn't mention or charger me at an earlier visit). It wasn't until her manager or supervisor overheard his employee & I, and then told her there's no charge for printing off a usb. Each time I print, more than 30% of the prints are smeared or there's toner residue over my prints (I'm guessing the printer needs to get serviced or cleaned). Though when I brought it up, they still charge me for the prints (mind you I bring in my own cardstock paper which gets ruined in their printer). Their excuse for the smearing & dirty printing is "because it's printing on cardstock. That's how it'll look." I find it so weird because when Office Max was in town, and all my visits at Staples, it rarely happens, though if/when it does happen, Office Max & Staples usually mentions their printers need to be cleaned and theyre more than happy to reprint on their cardstock to substitute the ruined print on my own cardstock. I think if their mannerisms/customer service was a bit more inviting/friendly, my experience wouldnt be so bad. I would definitely NOT recommend this UPS location. read more

I visited this store yesterday around 5pm. I happened to leave a pair of Wayfair Ray Ban sunglasses on the counter. I realized it this morning and immediately called to retrieve them. I'm sure I don't need to disclose the value of these sunglasses. When I called I was told they weren't there. I was furious. Someone from that location took them. I am positive it wasn't a customer because the customers that were there left before I did. This leads me to believe it could have been an employee. Be cautious of your belongings when in this store if you still "CHOOSE and TRUST" to do business there. read more
