Last time I wrote a review here I gave it 5 stars . PAK Mail is under new ownership. And a lot has changed. They are overpriced. I had 2 small boxes with prepaid shipping to return. And the lady behind the counter tried to charge me $2 per box to tape up. I couldn't believe it! I send things back often and have used several mail stores. UPS , AIM , Fed Ex. I've never not once had them charge me $2 a box for tape. No thank you!! I will go elsewhere. read more

Extremely helpful in assisting me in trying to locate a package that was tracked as being "in transit" in Oakdale (not its destination) for 3 days. Turned company of origin (Shutterfly) gave me the wrong shipper. The clerk was able to figure it out and give me current location (closer to destination). While waiting, also noted clerk was attentive and patient with other customers. read more

Pak Mail - Notaries Near Me - Oakdale, California

I had to mail a package out of state, I found their prices to be a little higher than the ups store. The customer service is good.

Not sure why I even waited 30 minutes here for NOTHING. I used my time to find somewhere else to go. I came here to notarize some documents but the sheer lack of time management and organization of this place is ridiculous. Be prepared to stay here for 20-30 minutes to get what you want OR nothing at all. Maybe I am impatient. Maybe I value my time? Maybe this place is just inefficient and backwards? I asked them how long it'll be, "5 minutes." Then I asked why it's taking so long if there are 2 people working. Then I get some talk back "Everyone waits their turn." The lady both employees are helping arrived last. So why am I waiting for the last person? Truly a waste of time. Go somewhere else. read more

After finding out that I would have to pay 85 cents per color copy at the local UPS place PLUS an additional $3 for a "printing fee"!? (I would think that the 85 cent for each Page would Cover! any FEE) I always take my packages to Pak Mail here in Oakdale anyway - so I thought I would just as soon give THEM any exhorbitant cost for printing! But they are not only Friendlier - and shorter lines.... but they are Also a LOT More Reasonable! It only cost 50 cents for each Color copy (withOUT any extra tacked on "fees") - but - as already mentioned, they were SO MUCH More friendly and Capable/ Efficient. read more

Let me tell the whole thing here, first I d prefer use DHL for sending my package to China but after she told me it is $195,I feel it is too expensive so I ask how much for FedEx,it was $25 cheaper so I decided just use FedEx, but just mins later she told me the DHL dropped price so I told her that is cool I can just use DHL,so when she throw the paper for me to sigh,it was late we try to hurry up get things done and I totally trust her did the same thing we discussed on paper，I didn't check carefully，quick signed, she exactly know what I prefer,with out reminder that on the paper was FedEx and cost $197,so next day at home I find on the receipt I paid higher price for FedEx! This place has not been good to me. I mailed a package, a housewarming gift, a few weeks ago with them to a friend in San Diego. A few days after it was to be delivered I get a message that UPS needs an apartment number and if I can call them back with it the package will be delivered tomorrow as a second attempt. I called them back right away with the apartment number and was told it would be delivered. A week went by without my friend receiving her package. Another message from pak mail that the package is in the office for me to pick up. I was told on a rude manner that " due to your error the package is here," and that I have to pay for it to be re-shipped again. The woman working there was condescending and rude to me, and not only on this occasion. I was unable to get something notarized there a few months ago, and instead of telling me in a polite way that she would be unable to help me she was quite rude. This place is terrible, they are in business because there is not a lot of competition in this town. I will not give them a third chance, and I suggest anyone looking for the services they offer go elsewhere to avoid the headache and rude 'tudes! read more

This pakmail is everything. They're more than just a local pakmail, they go out of their way to help their customers with anything even if it's out of their job description. Any business could take a lesson from these employees. There have been so many times I've walked into the store not knowing how to go about mailing or packaging or printing and faxing and they always take care of me. These guys are great! I have ordered custom forms from them and they beat other competitors pricing. They also have GREAT customer service. I recently gave a prepaid package to my son to drop off at Pak Mail. He put it in the OnTrac box outside the store instead of bringing it ito the store (like I instructed). Needless to say, this was not an OnTrac prepaid label and I was nervous that I would not be able to retrieve my package. I went into the store and explained to the employee what happened. She told me they cannot access the box but would leave a note for the OnTrac people so they would retrive the package for me. She called me the next business day with an update! Who does that anymore?!? Trustworthy and they follow through. I will definitely be taking all my packages there from now on. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

This is a rare gem in todays business. Customer service is lacking almost everywhere. This place takes care of everything for you. I have tossed just about everything at them. They will package it and mail for you. Don't have a box, no problem... they take care of it. Copies, fax everything. I have yet to have a problem with ANYTHING I give them. If they can't do it ( I would be surprised) I am sure they would point you in the right direction. Customer service at it's best.
