Every time we come to this location there is only one employee and there is always a long line . More employees should be hired to keep up with the traffic of customers. The workers are slow and sometimes not friendly . Don't come here unless you want to be waiting for long time to take care of your package needs. read more

I frequent this location with Amazon returns. All of the employees here are so friendly and helpful, which is not so common in customer service these days. I often observe them being incredibly patient with people who come in less than prepared when many would grow frustrated. Management should do all they can to keep the employees they have now. read more

I return my items from Amazon here. I like this place because they are fast and do not bug me about the amount items I bring in. I think I've brought in 6 returns at one. Parking is always open. The Oakdale UPS store might be OK for Amazon returns, but if Anyone is needing Printing done - you are MUCH Better Off NOT having anything Printed at THIS place. 85 cents PER PAGE for Color copies (PLUS an added on $3 printing fee!) compared to Only 50 cents per page for color copies at the PakMail which is very close by and the service there is Much Friendlier (withOUT any extra tacked on fees!). The few time that I have needed to call to ask a question the NEVER answer the bloody phone. I have tried to call one morning for 3 hours to get some info about an Amazon bar code. I stopped by to drop a package off and needed the label printed so I emailed it to them. I've done this at another UPS store with no issues. However, AFTER they print the label, not before, he tells me I owe $3 to print out one piece of paper. Three bucks for a single piece of paper? Absolutely ridiculous. read more

So I have a return from Amazon that needs to be dropped off at a UPS store... Cool! easy enough... Well so I thought. I walked in to The Oakdale UPS store today with my return package all bubble wrapped and inside the manufacturer's box well taped with no labels and ready to ship. Easy enough right? So here's what happened. "Amelia" greets me at the counter and tries to scan the barcode that was sent to my phone by Amazon with instructions to present to the shipper. "Amelia" has trouble scanning it manually enters the pre-ship tracking #. Then tells me that I had to buy "packaging" from them and it needed to be shipped in a larger box.. I'm confused at this point because I own a business and regularly ship all kinds of packages daily. Usually the smaller the box the cheaper it is for me to ship. But either way the package I presented was absolutely suitable and ready to slap a label on and go. So when I question "Amelia" and ask for an explanation. She points at her computer screen and tells me "Amazon requires this". I wasn't buying it but I thought ok humor me so I asked her how much they wanted for their "packaging"?? She told me it would be almost $18.00. So this place tried to upsell me on packaging that was not at all required, and then blamed it on Amazon. I grabbed by box thanked her and walked out. I immediately called Amazon and spoke to a supervisor who confirmed my suspicion. What "Amelia" told me was an outright lie, and those were the Amazon persons words. And then they promptly told me I could just keep the $400 item I was trying to return. I couldn't be happier about the outcome but I hope this review is helpful for anyone who they attempt to scam and lie to like they did to me. Let me also add that "Amelia's attitude became abrasive the second I questioned what she was telling me. She also asked me twice if I wanted to speak to her manager which I never asked to do. I think maybe "Amelia" was the one who needed to speak to her manager. She has lots to learn. read more

I use this store regularly for my Amazon drop off, copies and sending packages! I've always been happy here and the staff has always been very professional and accommodating. But today, the female staff member who picked up the phone went completely above and beyond!!!! I actually forgot to put a stamp on a letter I dropped in their mail slot. When I got home, I realized I put a letter in with no stamp. I called the store and the girl who picked up was so kind. She told me she would stamp it and not to worry, even know I said I would come back with the money. I just broke my leg and I am struggling to get my errands done. I didn't want my husband to mail this letter ( it's for his b-day.) This girl made my day, thank you for your random act of kindness! read more

I have used the UPS store in Oakdale, ca several times shipping packages to my children also making Amazon returns. Have been help by Bree most everytime and she is so knowledgeable and efficient, not to mention very quick. Very nice and extremely helpful. I couldnt have done all those needs without her. Many KUDOs to the staff at this store; especially Jeannie!! As an Executive Coach from Boise, Idaho, I did lengthy self-service copying of my client's VA documents at this store. During that time, I was aware of the way customers were treated and I was impressed with the staff's professionalism. Finishing my copying, I then proceeded to put all documents in my car with my phone and purse on top of them. My purse held my car's FOB. YIKES!! it malfunctioned and immediately locked all doors and the rear entrance. No way to get my 3A card, credit cards, monies or phone with my Oakdale numbers!! Even though it was closing time, Jeannie graciously called every 3A number from her own card, which resulted in numerous attempts, as there was no answer at the Roadside Assistance number. She even called a local provider and finally reached someone at 3A's Travel group that was able to get my request for help to the right department. By then, it was past closing time and Jeannie still had to do those procedures. Even though I offered to just stand by my car for the hour it was going to take 3A to arrive, she made arrangements with the next door Subway neighbors for me to stay there. Side Note: they were Wonderful also!! To say I was a bit frazzled by this event might be an understatement! Jeannie's pleasant and calming demeanor was so helpful in solving all issues related to this dilemma for me. Even though this unexpected event at closing time caused her additional work, she was genuinely concerned and properly assertive with 3A to get resolution for me. I sincerely appreciated all she did for a "guest to our business and Oakdale" and would not allow me to compensate her or the business for their time. Thank you, Jeannie!! I try to avoid the post office here in town because it's always so busy, but the UPS Store can do pretty much everything the post office does, I always make it my first stop whenever I need something shipped :) read more
