They are so nice! I went on two separate occasions, one to renew my grandma's passport and another to renew my passport. They're so patient and helpful. You can do the whole process photo taking and mailing (just bring a check for the passport fees). It's not too busy. It's clean and there's a security guard in the shopping area so it's pretty safe. read more

Pak Mail lost my package. It was dropped off directly to a staff member, who did not offer a receipt, over two weeks ago. Since then, other packages that were dropped off at the same time have been sent and received; however, this package is still showing up as not having been scanned into the system. Pak Mail takes no accountability for their failure to scan the package into their system and losing it. There is now no record of this return, beyond the tracking number that shows it hasn't been scanned. If shipping anything with Pak Mail, ESPECIALLY if it's something of value, I would highly recommend watching them scan the item in or at least requiring a receipt before leaving it in their hands, as I'm now out a significant amount of money because they will not take accountability for losing my package. read more

Unacceptable! We have been using this location for years and let me be clear that was SOLELY because of the location. We will now be going out of our way to spend money somewhere else. I sent out a package Monday before last, and because we were in a rush and there was a line, my hubby took it up to the front to drop off. They never even scanned it in and by Saturday, the intended party was messaging me asking for an update. Confused at the lack of tracking information, I called the store and spoke to "Matt" who said he hadn't been there for the last week and couldn't help. I was insistent that someone review the video and find out what happened to my package and he finally assured me that the manager "Chuck" was the only one who could do that and that he would call me as soon as he came in. The holiday weekend came and left so we physically returned to the location today and were told they could not help us. More like wouldn't help us. The customer service here is unacceptable. I will never spend a dime at this establishment. I lost a customer and I lost an expensive item and there is zero accountability or concern on their part. This business does not take care of your items and they could care less about customer retention. Please do not take your business here. There is a real post office just 5 minutes away at Robinhood & Pacific. If you need FedEX dropoff you can go to Kinkos, Office Depot and Walgreens. There is also a UPS store at Ben Holt & Pacific. As of this review, this business has 14 one star reviews out of a total of 35. That is a 40% Negative review rate. Do you want to take a chance on those odds? I think you deserve better. I don't come here often, but it's close to my house, so I stopped by today to mail a letter. The girl immediately asked for my phone number, which I thought was odd. She said that she would need it if I want tracking. Hmm...ok. Whatever. I gave her my name and phone #. After she entered my information and the letter was weighed, she told me that my total would be $20.95. What the what?!?! I told her that there must be a miscommunication because all I wanted was the 16 digit tracking # that the post office gives you. There was no misunderstanding. That was the total for a simple tracking # that the post office gives for free. Needless to say, I won't be returning. read more

There appeared to be only one person working with someone, her back was turned away and she did not bother to look around and say I'll be right with you or acknowledge my presence. I only needed card weighed to to see if there was adequate postage, left and went to post office . In and out no problem. Won't be going back. read more

ZERO STARS IF I COULD. Please beware of this business. I used this business for moving services upon recommendation from the assisted living community that I was moving a loved one to... horrible decision!!!! Items broken, items destroyed, antiques left out in the rain and ruined, movers wreaked of marijuana, on and on... ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!! Now, a month after the move, I write this review because the owner (Chuck) promised that he would make this good. He will not return my correspondence and has left this mess unattended. So unprofessional. Luckily, the staff at both assisted living communities witnessed this fiasco and can help me moving forward. read more

I was attempting to go to UPS on March lane and mistakenly turned in to this shopping center and saw this place so decided to go there instead. I was pleasantly surprised with the place...it was super small but very clean AND they were giving away complementary cocoa or coffee and chocolate. They were chit chatting with customers that were obviously regulars and they were SO kind to me. I enjoyed my visit so much I was in shock...I'd never enjoyed a visit to mail place before! lol. Also, this place impressed me so much that I remembered to write my review 4 days later!!! I fully expected them to have a 5 star review when I logged in - a bit surprised. Been going to Pak Mail for many years. The definition of 'many' is over 10.... maybe 15. I will never step foot into this Pak Mail ever again. I am pissed. There are other places that offer Fed Ex, UPSP and UPS that I'd rather deal with. I had an overnight FedEx package that needed to go out... ready to go, already labeled, properly sealed. The owner (I know he's the owner, because I was introduced to him when he bought it from Sami) was helping a customer, I placed my envelope on the counter and asked if he could take it. He stopped me in my tracks and said, 'let me show you where it is, so you don't leave it in the wrong place.' I thought he was going to show me some special slot box closer to the door. It was a Fed Ex bucket.... and get this.... 2 steps behind him, behind the counter. I was shocked. Like I ruined his day not having to pay him for shipping. Did I cause him physical pain for having to take 2 steps back? His tone was extremely condescending... the customer that he was tending to even had a shocked look on her face. So in closing, I will write a letter to 'him'. Dear Dickhead, I have been a patron of Pak Mail for years. The service this location has provided me has been absolutely fantastic throughout the years. Sonia the owner was lucky to be busy the day I dropped off my package considering the service she is providing. Since I had a FedEx account she handed me the slip and told me to fill it out. It was around 4 pm / when I was finished she was busy with a customer and told me she would take care of it. It was a time sensitive overnight for first delivery in the morning so the next morning when I followed up with the recipient he said he hadn't received the package. I asked him to track it and he said nothings pulling up so I hung up and called Pakmail. Sonia answered and when I asked her about it she said I still have it and will send it out later today. I told her that it was supposed to be at the destination already and she said "our FedEx deliveries go out at 345 pm". I told her that i wished she would have told me that yesterday. She told me I should have asked her. BUT she should have looked at the package after helping her customer and seen it was an overnight package and let me know. She is clearly a FedEx rep and I would assume is well aware she may take packages that just can't be handled with a chill attitude. Please do not trust it will be done - check and double check with Sonia at Pakmail. Ironically when I went to go get the package back her employee wasn't wearing a mask so they all seem to be inheriting her rather relaxed style. read more

This was the closest place with a notary available, so I checked the yelp reviews and was half expecting a bad experience. Now I have to think that it was down to that individual and not the business at all. I needed to drop off a prepaid package for UPS (which they happily took, no attitude at all), get two separate affidavits notarized, and then send a bunch of documents to Sacramento. Turns out my affidavits were written wrong, but Chuck was happy to affix a proper form to solve that problem. My documents were quickly and happily packaged and labeled. All my questions were answered and all my business was handled well. Would definitely come back. read more

Let me start by saying I needed a package to go out fast I pre-paid online on Friday and droped my package off before 6 PM. They did not send it out until Monday the following week ! I would never use this facility again to send anything. They are not very fast and the older gentleman that works there is very rude. Now I must say the lady that works there was a sweetheart . If you are looking for your package to be sent out in a timely matter this is not the spot for you. Just go to the post office ! And I must say I even called ahead of time to make sure if I brought my package in by 6 o'clock that night that it would go out with the last pick up or the next morning promptly and they assured me it would . But that did not happen . Now a 2 day priority package is going to take up to 7 days to arrive . Don't waste your time with this place just go to the post office ! read more

Chuck and Molly are very friendly, and very helpful. The other reviewer that thought Chuck wasn't friendly is mistaken. I have been a Pak Mail Stockton customer for about 5 years. Sure, there is a UPS store closer to my office, but I like walking into a mom & pop business where they greet me by name and are genuinely glad I'm there. Even if they cost a little more, I still use them for shipping. Why? Because they will pack it the right way and whatever it is will get to its destination in one piece! The mn who helped went out of his way to make sure that my package got to Italy quickly; then when the recipient wanted me to pay more than $400 for Italy's import and customs taxes on the item, he helped me to put the burden back on the recipient for payment, saving me hundreds of dollars. Whenever I need to ship something, I will definitely use Pak Mail. read more

I went for mu passport photo. I sent it in and after a month I got an email from the passport people that there was to much glare on my face. I called pak Mail and their photo equipment is down and they could not tell me when it was going to be fixed. I am not able to get a refund even if I bring in the letter from the US passport department. New owners are not the same as the last owners!!!! read more

The cashier/staff were very courteous and I got my 2 items mailed. I was disappointed in 2 things. 1) staff were not enforcing or managing the # of customers in their small indoor space, even with San Joaquin county's 'stay at home order' and overfull ICU's. Spaces on floor marked for where to stand, but there were too many people in there for it to be safe, and it's not a fast process to mail a package...so folks are in there for a fair amount of time. I started a line outside (which I think they should have done, letting one customer in as one left...as the place was full). One customer with mask around her throat (not over her mouth and nose) walked past me and said she wouldn't wait outside (there were 2-3 other customers outside by this time). She stood in the store in line and at the cash register with NO MASK on at any time and the staff never asked her to put her mask on, even tho there is a sign posted outside that masks are required. 2) also had a $5 off coupon for shipping $20 or more. Postage for My 2 packages was over $20, but coupon could not be used. "Can only be used on one package that ships for over $20. Poor customer service from management. No blame goes to the cashier, she's just doing what she's told. Even tho this location is convenient for me, and I've been a long term customer, I may be searching for a new vendor. read more

I had to notarize a grant deed to transfer a property over Chuck was there to assist me. Although he had a serious sense of humor I was able to notarize my deed for only $15. I got in and put in less than 30 minutes. $15!!! Is better than $50 that I called around. 5 star for the price. read more
