The lady who works here has a very bad attitude. When I asked her about shipping speeds and prices she was very rude. After trying to fill out my envelope, she was mad because she had told me I didn't need to fill it out, then took away the pen and tossed it on the desk. Then I proceeded to tell her it wasn't necessary for her to do that. She didn't care, she just said - "you can go to USPS" That's when I walked out and won't be ever going there again. The new lady owner tried to rip us off and when I asked a simple question nicely , she flew off the handle acted so rude and unprofessional. I have never been treated so bad in my life. My girlfriend went in to the bhanot postal center yesterday and was treated very badly by the lady who was working there

I had the worst experience ever. I go in to ship a box and due to a prior visit because it had the battery sticker on it. The employees there had me open the box and they sealed the box to verify what it was now fast forward to today. I go there, and I leave the top portion only of the box open thinking that they are going to want to see what type of battery Device is being shipped off and I'm being told that I have to pay a dollar just for a piece of tape on the top because they charge. Now the amount is not the factor but the whole point that the so-called owner, she told me her name was Kama told me that they charge and I explained that the reason I left it open, was due to the prior incident and she was literally ready to deny me service because I did not want to pay the amount when her employees led me to believe that there was no charge. Once I explained to her who and what they looked like she made a mention or should I say a comment was it a Mexican man and he no longer works here. Now I'm not making it about race, but that was a little uncomfortable being that I am Latin regardless, she did not want to take responsibility that her employees were not trained well and let a customer to believe something else. Because of the need of having to ship the box, I went ahead and paid the dollar, but I will never ever go back there again and once I was leaving, I grabbed a business card and I see a complete different name as the owner on the business card. They're consistently professional, fast, easy, and each package, including those shipped overseas arrived in perfect condition. Recently my significant other took a device to this postal center to ship it back to the manufacturer for me, but he didn't see the part in the shipping instructions where the device's box needed to be shipped in another box for added protection. When I realized this on my lunch break, I called the center and I believe Mr. Bhanot helped me - calmly and patiently followed the new instructions, talking me through finding a box, padding the original box, and removing and replacing the return label. While doing this I could hear him greeting everyone who entered and helping them so they were not waiting. He made paying the additional cost over the phone easy and emailed me a picture of the receipt. The device was received without issue. I know it was a pain to have to look for my package and redo everything to prepare it for shipping but Mr. Bhanot did not make me feel this way and thanked me for my business. i don't need postal services often but the 2 times I have been here to return rented textbooks and once to return an online purchase I was very confused with the process and the gentleman has always made it so easy to print my labels and purchase mailers if necessary. I have very mixed emotions about this place, they were extremely nice at first. But when dealing with the lady, Mrs. Hamal I believe, she's rude. I've came to this place faithfully for 3 weeks and have been charged 0.19 per page print out, and because I felt I had a good relationship with them, I'd usually give $0.20-$0.25 each print out depending on the change I had on me. Well out of no where today I walk in, and she's rude and says the price changed over night to $1 a page AFTER she printed them out.. I believe Fedex is 0.10-$0.15 per page print out. Sadly I'll have to stop supporting a small mom And pop shop and go to a larger store because of them making their price more than 5x higher. Plus, being rude doesn't help. Honestly it made me feel that she noticed I was relying on them (my home printer broke) and she just wanted more bang for her buck sadly read more

The most trustworthy, hard working people are at Hamel Postal Center. I brought in an expensive piece of equipment to box for shipping and when the right materials were not readily available, I just left my expensive equipment there overnight and came back the next day. They will do everything they can to get the shipping done right. I applaud them for being one of the only postal places I can totally rely on. read more
