I was able to get rid of a lot of shredding boxes and boxes of materials for a very good price. The employee was very helpful and kind.

Pretty easy to work with. Scheduled a truck shredding appointment for 120 boxes and the driver came on time and called ahead to make sure someone was on-site. They gave me a nice bulk discount so it was cheaper than taking my boxes anywhere local like staples or ups so very good value. Highly recommend. read more

Our medical office recently used the shredding service to clear out very old files after they've been digitized. From the first phone call everyone was very knowledgeable and well informed. They guided us through the process with care without being pushy and patiently answered all of our questions! On the day of the actual job they were neat, professional and completed the job by far faster than we'd imagined. You can trust this service! This is my third time using Shred City. They are very organized and have great customer service. Amber was the first contact, very friendly and connected me to Rita. Rita answered my questions about scheduling an appointment in Fremont and estimated prices for my four large bags of documents. She explained that the person picking up the bags would determine the actual price based on the size. The pickup was scheduled between 1pm-3p same day. I was very happy about that. The driver, Daryl arrived on time and was very helpful. He emptied the bags into the barrel and wrote up the sales receipt. He did a great job, nice guy, the bags were very heavy. He didn't need any help. I highly recommend Shred City. I will continue to call them for their services. Thx, Ron & Margo read more

Highly recommended! We closed my father's business and had a lot of files to shred. Shred City came through for us! Rita was so kind on the phone and figured out exactly what we needed. A few days later Javier came with the truck took care of everything. He loaded up all our files into the truck and the documents were shredded on the spot. He was fast, efficient and professional. I called other places and they were the best value with the most options. Thank you Shred City!! read more

I would have felt better if my items were shredded in my presence . I called ahead of time and asked if items would be shredded in my presence and I was told they would . When I get there a young lady asked for my box and said that it would be put somewhere until the drivers got there . Given what I was told on the phone, that did not sit well with me as I would have preferred the items being shredded in my presence and not left for later. For me , handing over sensitive information would have felt better if the documents were shredded in my presence . I am not saying bad things about the vendor but I am just pointing out how to improve the user experience. read more

I recommend Shred City, with the highest rating possible, to whomever has documents, hard drives, or cell phones to securely dispose of. Seth was great to work with on the phone, and I appreciated his follow-up to make sure I was satisfied. The driver who came out was professional and courteous-and I got to watch my items being shredded on camera. The cost was very reasonable, and the truck was out in front of my home within a few days. The entire staff that I encountered either in person or over the phone were awesome. Thank you, Shred City. read more

Dealing with old files and tax returns coupled with paperwork from my uncles estate was overwhelming. Typically you're overwhelmed with so much paperwork it can make you crazy. To my amazement there was a local shredding company!!!! I walked in with my boxes and bags with help from one of the gals, they weighed it and I paid and walked out....WHAT!!!! Weight of my shoulders and crap out out of my attic!!! Just amazing, you must try, best way to get rid of sensitive papers without worry read more

My company is going through a company purge of old files and we were dealing with Shred It who we had to practically beg to come out (please see my review on them). Once I submitted a quote request, within minutes I received a call from Kelsi. She asked me a few questions and right away received a quote. She was so friendly and helpful. The customer service I received from her was top notch. She was able to book a time for the next morning. The crew came out the next morning. We didn't have to do anything but show them where our cabinets were. They took care of emptying the file cabinets for us, putting them in bins, and shredded everything on-site. They also took old monitors and hard drives which was convenient for us. We are so happy with their service and highly recommend Shred City for your shredding needs. read more

I have nothing but incredible things to say about this company. The person that helped me through everything was Seth. He went above and beyond throughout this entire process. He set everything up for me and walked me through the entire process of how his services work. He answered all of my questions promptly and directly. He was fully transparent with the price of his services and even threw in a deal for me as a first time client. This was not a just a few boxes of papers that needed to be shredded. I had almost 2 -95 gallon bins filled. Seth was able to accommodate my scheduling needs immediately which was so unbelievably helpful. This will be the only shredding company I will use from here on. As for the person who was onsite and actually doing all the shredding I was gifted Mitchell. He was so sweet and professional and did ALL of the heavy lifting for me. He was prompt and worked quickly and got everything done in less than 20 min. It is so rare to find top of the line customer service that is consistent from beginning to end. I cannot recommend this place enough. I have recommended them to everyone. I can say that the people who work here take such pride in offering the best experiences for their customers. I hope if you are reading this you chose to support this business. read more

I reached out to Shred City and they responded very quickly. They asked for a few more details to provide and accurate quote. They gave 3 options. I got back with them the next day. They were able to come out that same day. Communication was great-the driver called me to say when he'd arrive and was spot on. Couldn't be happier with the quick response, options, and ease of having this job taken care of. Would definitely recommend! read more

We are cleaning out the parents' house and just used them to pick up 70 boxes of old papers for offsite shredding (cheaper option). Choices were offsite (at their shredding facility), or onsite (i guess they bring the shredder to you). They were awesome: steep hill, narrow street, tricky access, long walk, some stairs, no problem. The guys came in a clearly marked truck and were huffing and puffing for an hour, walking boxes out without complaining. Prices are very reasonable, no extra charge for the long walk (I wouldn't have complained too much if they billed for one). Office staff was professional and organized - my contact was Michelle: she scheduled the appt, made sure drivers had clear instructions for access, and job was completed as promised. Would use them again in a heartbeat. read more

This process was easy and affordable. I was going to buy a shredder but I had 15 years worth of docs to destroy and knew a shredder couldn't handle it. They came to my house and loaded and shredded the docs in the truck. I would recommend this company!!! read more
