Had a good experience with Red Dog Shredz for a small amount of paper documents to be shredded. Per their instructions, I had removed dark heavy file folders, cardboard, paper clips and binder clips. Pulled in and we got to work, pouring my files into the larger bin out front. As the documents went into the truck, I got to watch the documents getting shredded via a TV monitor. It was quick and straightforward with my confidence in watching the process get completed. Definitely recommend. read more

I have used Red Dog Shredz 3 times. Each visit was easy and my file boxes full of documents were quickly shredded. So much better than using home shredders that only do a few pages at a time. Great service for easy disposal of obsolete personal documents. read more

Do you have piles of paper documents you need to toss? But you need to confidentiality shred them and your little ole paper shredder just doesn't have the muscle to do it all. Well, bring 'em all to Red Dog Shredz, they are able to shred on-site. Quick and easy. Friendly service. You don't even have to unload the boxes. Just walk on into the shop and they can unload them from your car for you. They have a shredder inside. But I prefer the mobile shred truck because most of the time I have several boxes. The truck is usually parked out front on Saturday afternoons. Before I trig on over there, I call ahead to make sure though. Current shred pricing for one bankers box cost $11. Plus they provide commercial business shred services. Check out their website for the full deets. read more

Almost everyone has years of paperwork, bills, credit card statements with your account numbers, papers with personal information on them. What to do with all of it. I finally got around to cleaning out my office. I started to use my little paper shredder and started laughing, this will take me a year. I ended up with 3 large bags with 10 years of personal paperwork with my information. I googled paper shredders in Rocklin. Red Dog Shredz came up and was close to my house. I went to Red Dogs and was greeted by a very nice guy. He came out to my car and dumped all my paperwork in a large container. 2 minutes later, 10 years of my papers were shredded. What a relief. Highly recommend Red Dog to relieve your stress of disposing your personal papers. read more

In Roseville our trash is collected in one large waste bin and then hand sorted to be recycled so I'm not comfortable throwing personal papers in the trash. www.roseville.ca.us/eu/solid_waste_utility/recycling/default.asp If you're like me and concerned about identity theft, you can't beat the shredding services provided by red dog. I called this location to confirm what hours it was open till. I was told 5:30. I am a real estate agent that is helping a 95 year old man sell a mobile home in Grass Valley. I loaded a full F150 truck with boxes of taxes that this gentlemen asked they all be shredded. I urgently drove with this load of paperwork to the Rocklin location. This company charges twice as much as Pacific Shredding but I needed my truck unloaded. After showing this job to this young man, of which I talked to on the phone just minutes before, he told me he stopped shredding at 5:00, which is not what he told me on the phone, then "he did not get paid after 5:30" Seeing his reluctance to help me, I offered to take my business else where. He grudgingly took the wheeler out to my truck and I started to push these boxes onto the edge of my truck. I dumped as fast as I could these heavy boxes into the wheeler. He dumped and threw the empty boxes all over the parking lot. After the mess was left in the parking lot, he went back inside and waved from the door that the bill was ready. Explaining how the extra 25 minutes of HIS time by helping me, it came to $310. I gave him a tip, for all that 20 minutes he was "not paid" I received no thanks you's, he locked the door and drove off. The parking lot full of boxes. Very bad customer service . I wont be bringing my business or referring this company to my many real estate clients. read more

Red Dog Shred is tucked in the back of a retail center, and the entry is a little tricky, depending on which direction you travel on Folsom-Auburn Road. Use the entrance for the gas station and cross over. That's the easiest way. Staff is friendly and efficient. What I like best is that you can stay and watch your items get tossed into the giant shredder located at the back of the parking lot. (Only if you want to, of course). Double assurance that everything is ground up! Good price, great service, and peace of mind. read more

WOW...AMAZING!! I used the fair oaks location and i didn't know there where other RED DOGS and Folsom is closer to my home! I had over 30 boxes I needed shredded a year ago but I didn't want to make multiple trips so I asked them to come out. They refused to come out during business hours so I had to wait for them to come after they closed. They called me and it kinda sounded like they didn't want to even come out. But they showed up. They were very friendly. But after looking at their rates online they over charged me last year. So I probably won't be using them again. read more
