Remember this is a recycling center!! These guys are dealing with dirty recyclables all day!! Be nice!! When I arrived they told me they will be back at 12:30pm. I could have told them its not even 12pm which is their lunch break! It made total sense they were assisting two customers with a truck load! When I arrived back around 12:40pm.they were packed!! Although they had two people they were helping they gave me the proper containers and asked me to separate my bottle by color. NO BIGGIE! Once it was mt turn they were quick!!! My wife and i are moving today and wanted to grab a few boxes from the dumpster by CVS for packing. At 5:16am a trash truck arrives behind ua and blocks us in before we even got out of the car. I look back and the driver is snapping shots of our car with his phone still. No allowing us out.. Terrible customer service! I showed up at 3:15 and the gentleman was waving at me telling me they were closed.. I approached him and told him the sign says 330 Then he proceeded to tell me he ran out of cash. I made a point to get there on time to take care of my recycling. Then he said they had ran out of money it's out of money to pay me out. A bunch of BS.. So I gave my recycling to the Man ahead of me it's funny they had enough to pay him out. The people are are not very friendly at all since we have been coming here . My husband and I looked at the times and their lunch says 12:30 to 1:00pm ... we got there and they had their own made up sign on a piece of cardboard saying 1:40 to 2:10 pm. The guy sat there smoking cigarette after cigarette talking to his wife ... didn't even mention to say a word to us while we stood their waiting for twenty minutes. We decided to pack up our things back in bags... still didn't say a word . Never going their again. Worse service people in the world. read more

I visit the Cameron Park Recycling Center about once a month to recycle our CRV cans and bottles. Also, this location has dumpsters for cardboard, accepts e-waste and household batteries. I rarely have a wait to be helped. The staff is polite, professional, and friendly. read more

The woman working here does her job. Yes you have to separate your bottles and cans, so what?! She is friendly even when working in a downpour. I am surprised at the negative reviews of her. She is thorough and kind. Maybe if you give a little kindness, she will give it back. read more

Convenient location but I stopped using this location after many years because of their policies, and an employee who rudely decided I didn't belong there because I didn't know the ins and outs of their process. I can say the they run their butts off in all sorts of weather. I started using the recycle center in the parking lot at the Folsom Walmart, which accepts capped bottles. I prefer this as it helps compress the bottles at home and keeps it cleaner. read more

First off, the recycling center is behind the CVS and Raley's building in the Golderado Shopping Center. The address always says it is the same as Raley's, but really it's behind the building. Straightforward process. You load cans into plastic trash cans, glass bottles into the blue bins (sort by color of glass). The attendant weighs, records your recyclables, and enters the data into the computer. You give your name, sign a receipt, and get paid out. No hassle, attendant was pleasant even on this rainy day. Easy peasy. From the payout rate poster, this location accepts plastic recyclables also. read more

I showed up once at on the dot 4pm, guy just finished last customers transaction but then refused to take my recyclables because the time had just rolled past 4pm. I had been dropped off with the recycling and was to meet up with the driver in the front of the parking lot. Guy watched me pack up my recycling and walk away with 4 bags smiling about it. Also I'm 90% sure these guys are skimming off the top. I never get 5 cents per can. read more

They don't pick up when it snows even an inch or so. I leave my recycling out with my regular trash. They don't pick up either one, but now they say it's yard waste, when they didn't pick up my recycling from the week before. I've lived in the foothills for 30 plus years. Horrible service, the woman takes multiple lunches to avoid working. She was rude when confronted even though I was sitting there the entire time. Then refused the first come first serve fashion, and just let anyone come forward despite some of us waiting over an hour. Would not recommend this place, go to rePlanet in Folsom. Hopefully this place will be shut down. read more

Leisha is a keeper. She has a great disposition in dealing with her customers, is always pleasant and maintains a smile when dealing with the public.
