Despite being the only customer in the store, two employees appeared to argue over who would help me, which made it obvious there are issues among the staff at this location. The employee who eventually assisted me had a negative attitude throughout the interaction. Instead of properly inspecting the package, they shook the box, heard slight movement inside, and immediately insisted I needed to purchase a new box or extra padding. After adding significantly more padding, my husband returned with the same package a few days later and experienced the exact same issue. Employees again refused to inspect the package before rejecting it and cited a supposed policy requiring "no sound at all" and "no bends on the box," which seemed unreasonable and inconsistent with FedEx packaging guidelines. At that point, it honestly started to feel less like concern for packaging standards and more like employees were using vague interpretations of policy to pressure customers into buying additional boxes and padding materials.

I didn't catch the woman's name, but she was condescending, unprofessional, and most of all - a scammer. She clearly looks at everyone who comes in as if they're made of money. It costs nothing to be compassionate, understanding, or empathetic.

I don't like charges that take advantage of people no matter how big or small. It's too bad.

We applied online a few evenings before, scheduled an in-store appt and Brandon closed up the transaction in less than 10 minutes!! This next part is kind of embarrassing but it must be mentioned...I mixed up their hours and went to pick it up on friday at 5:03pm but they had just closed at 5pm. I panicked because I was literally having people come down to help me with my photoshoot the next day and the shop is closed on the weekends. I called and messaged them on yelp explaining the mistake I made. Karen found my phone number and called me asking if I would be able to come back to their shop later that evening because they would be out all morning the next day. Jason drove back and opened the doors just so that I could get my stole before my pictures. I spend quite a lot of my time at Mailing/Shipping/Delivery Store as of lately because I have began to start selling a lot of items on Postmark and other Mobile Apps in which they require shipping items to the client that buys them. The experiences that I get at the many different stores that I have been to have ranged from absolutely terrible and horrid, to some of the most heavenly customer service ever. Before I even stepped into the UPS Store today, I could already tell that today was going to be an easy and great experience. The employee that serviced me today was named "SEAN". Anytime that you make a trip to this store or need to take care of some shipping needs, do yourself a massive favor and DO NOT FORGET TO ASK FOR SEAN. He had simply just a genuine personality, funny, kind, helpful, and just plain friendly. He went above and beyond to help me ship my items free of charge by taping the boxes together and using ingenuity. THANK YOU VERY MUCH SEAN. I had a very disturbing experience at this UPS drop-off location in Fullerton. I dropped off three packages at the same time, all properly sealed and containing high-value items. Each package was shipped to a different destination (out of state and within California). Every single one of them arrived opened and re-taped, with all contents missing. This is not a coincidence. When multiple packages from the same drop-off end up tampered with in the exact same way, it raises serious concerns about what may be happening either at this location or immediately after handoff. The boxes themselves were intact but clearly resealed, which strongly suggests the contents were removed during the shipping process. I have filed a formal claim with UPS and documented everything. If you are shipping anything valuable, I would strongly recommend being extremely cautious with this location. Very disappointing and concerning experience. read more

Store 1706 is my go to UPS Store I use very often. Caitlyn, Jeffrey, John, and Sam are very friendly and professional helping me in whatever way they can from making copies, finding the right box to ship my items, choosing the most cost efficient way to ship my package, or just offering a friendly demeanor after a tough day or week at work. Kudos to a great team at The UPS Store. Always helpful, patient and convenient, plus they are adding benefits all of the time, with livescan now available. By far, the best experience, and I pick up my mail every day. High fives all around with Sam, John, Jeffrey and Kaitlin when checks arrive in my mailbox. Also, if you bring them food (bananas, ding dongs, cheeseburgers and cookies), they treat you like royalty. read more

Their website said they do passport photos, so since I had something to mail I went there. They told me the website was wrong they do not take passport photos. Bugged me bc I could of mailed the pkg anywhere including USPS instead of driving all the way over to the UPS store to mail it They really should update their website and have only the products and services they really do have . read more

Candidly, I drove right past it the first time. It also took me a second to find parking. I came here for a package that went missing. They were able to help me out. I also saw that they do passport services at this location. That's great! I usually go to FedEx for passport things, but next time I will come here for that. I drove to the location and peered inside the entrance that faces Beach Boulevard, and his shelves are all gone, there are empty postal bins stacked by the cleared counter, and there were new cardboard boxes (still flat) propped up against the wall. The cash register is still there, though. We've been using this place for 15 years. Dealing with Jim Yoo was hit and miss for us. I always had to hope that I was catching him on a good day. - If you catch him on a bad day, he could be abrupt and rude. - On more than one occasion, he'd be closed during his posted hours. - Getting Amazon deliveries became hard because Amazon would often deliver outside of the posted hours. Jim knew about this issue and blamed Amazon. When I had told him that we were now receiving Amazon packages at our house, he wondered why. - Now, he goes out of business without so much as a letter of notice to his mailbox clients. We paid our last annual fee in July 2022, which meant we were paid up until June 2023. I guess I should have seen this coming...
