Since the Amazonification of package delivery I find having a mailbox at a place like this essential, the good old days where UPS/FedEx would leave a sticker to schedule a redelivery or allow you to pickup the package was destroyed by Amazon where everyone wants to leave stuff at your door without you having any feedback on when/where. I order something online with confidence that it will be security and reliably delivered here, I can then go in and pickup when it fits my schedule. When I have any mailing needs the staff here always makes sending it out efficient and stress free! I have spent enough time fighting with the Post Office where I will NEVER use them for anything that matters. FedEx is usually reliable, though going to their office rarely gets me the best price, Postal Max is your advocate and makes sending packages easy and I am confident that their pricing is better or the same as any other location. I had been coming to this postal max for two times in this week before I work . They said it open at 9:00 but on Dec 4th I was waiting from 9-935 they still no body came to open!!! Pissed me off which made me late to to work. Then i come on Saturday at 9 to pick up and they were not open yet till 915. I can't wait cus I have to work!!! Wasting my time!!! This is the third time I've been here when they have not been open during their posted business hours (9-5). I have waited more than 30 minutes, past 9:30 a.m., to use their mailing/delivery services. While waiting, I've sat in car and watched other people try to access the store during "business hours" and they walk away with the same frustrated look. It wouldn't be that hard to change their cheap little 99-cent sign in the window to reflect ACCURATE hours. This gives whole new meaning to the phrase "Going postal." I'm tired of waiting, and am about to go POSTAL, to the MAX. I had 4 things to ship today. I could've driven to LA County by now to drop these things off. Went in to buy a box, they asked if I would like a recycled one instead, I said "sure!" Guy in line says "that's good, saves you money!" Not at all. Paid same as a new box. Lady said "$3.00" for a recycled box... I would of rather bought a small box for the same price! They were just throwing the boxes away anyway. I don't mind Paying something, but not the regular box price. Rant over. Find another place for your needs. read more

100% 5 NEGATIVE STARS. We scheduled a uhaul truck for 7am. After 1 and a half hours of trying to pick up the truck, uhaul tells us whoever had the truck prior didn't return the keys. It was right there in the notes and no one bothered to tell us. So here we sit waiting for someone to come open the store and help us. read more

They recently had a change of ownership and things weren't running very smoothly at first. They didn't have a good grasp of who their customers were. I don't know if it was lacking from prior owner relying on her memory turning over sparse client lists, or the new owners still getting acclimated. I wrote a fairly scathing review a week ago and am editing it now because the new owner explained that my issue of delayed delivery was due to incomplete records from prior owner coupled with the sending party failing to put a box number on the package (they said they did put the box number on it, but it's been awhile and I tossed the envelope). We will see how it goes now that they know who I am and will associate the right company name with my box number. I was pleasantly surprised to see a new "you have a package waiting" marker in my box (rather than having to ask every time), so they improved that part already. Giving it a "meh" for now because the owner's wife's customer service skills are still lacking. May revise or add another review in the future. Should all things run more smoothly on a go forward, I will stay with this service. read more

I finally have a chance to leave a review but from the looks of other reviews, I'm not the first to get horrible customer service from the lady behind the counter with a baby on her lap. I wish I would have gotten a chance to get her name but she was incredibly hostile from the minute I walked in. I greeted her and told her I had a UPS package and before even saying hello she wanted to know why my package from Fullerton,was being delivered to The Postal Max. I told her I rerouted it online because I knew I would be at work during delivery times and I could pick up after work instead( same parking lot) Oh wow that was the wrong thing to say! She forcibly said it needs to be delivered home first and THEN if nobody is home it can be redelivered to them. WHY? And how would she even know they hadn't tried if I hadn't just told her??? I told her she needs to take it up with UPS. Oh, they only do it for people with p.o.boxes in their facility. Again It didn't say that anywhere online, take it up with UPS and stop advertising on your window and online that you accept UPS delivery if you don't want to bother with it! FALSE ADVERTISING!! I quickly took my package and left and of course I won't be returning. Funny thing is I had intended on actually getting a p.o. Box for business deliveries there but she quickly drove this potential customer away with her rude attitude. I know the Mr. of this business is going to defend her actions as he has done so previously but I think, sir, that it would be wise to send her to customer service courses or read a book on it. Amazon has one called Customer Service Training 101 by Renee Evenson. Seriously though she is costing you potential customers. read more

This is absolutely terrible! I called in two times to see if my package was there and the lady working there told me that "she couldn't check" while her baby was screaming in the background. When I went into the store, she was sitting down with her feet up on the table while her baby was crying! I asked her why she wouldn't check, she said that there were too many packages. There was ten packages, she could have checked. I am so disappointed in this store. Also, it is highly unprofessional to bring a screaming baby to work. Will never recommend this place to anyone. The lady and the owner should be highly disappointed in themselves. read more

Rude women works there. I had set up Ups choice delivery in the Placentia store because my daughter lives nearby. I live in Anaheim hills so it is not that far and I am in the area a lot. When I went to pick a package up last week she said I could not use her store anymore and was not very nice about telling me that. I already had another package in transit but in the meantime changed my new deliveries to a different store by contacting UPS. I just left the store after getting my final package from her and she was totally rude which is unacceptable as an employee working in a retail store. I will be calling UPS to let them know about the service in that location. read more

I am going to go ahead and give this place 5 stars, not because it's my favorite place ever but because they were great for what I asked of them. I came here to get my fingerprints done for a FBI background check. I needed to have the real printed ones done, and they were the only ones in the area that did that. Let me tell you, there is a reason why they invented the digital scanner. This is a tough job. And the guy at Postal Max was really, really helpful. Thank god I never have to do this again. And I hope no one else comes in for at least 6 months to get it done again. It is super stressful and I wouldn't want to do it more than once a year myself. read more

Awful customer service. We had a PO Box with them until February of last year when we canceled with an employee by the name "Maria". We had gotten notice from our bank that they had been sending us mail after a little investigating we learned that we were not getting the mail and the bank wasn't getting any return to senders. We went to the PO Box to see if they by chance had any of our mail when we arrived we explained the situation and they asked for our phone number, the employee then proceeded to tell us that our account was in fact not closed and that Maria no longer worked for them so they couldn't "verify" when I asked why they didn't reach out to us they claimed they figured we would come back. When I questioned why they never returned any mail to sender she responded "some people come back after years and want to reopen their box"... last time I checked that illegal. They have been holding our mail for over a year and claimed they will continue to until they receive payment for the last year... Better business bureau and Usps have been notified read more

These people are so nice and helpful! I needed two mugs made TODAY. I must have called about 20 places in the area and everyone wanted to charge a set up fee or wouldn't help me unless I needed a quantity of 100 or more. I just wanted to put a picture on a mug and Postal Max did it in 20 minutes! Not to mention the price as only $8.50 per mug.
