I got directed here to do fingerprinting when I had a bad experience with a fingerprinting service closer to home. I came here hoping it would be better and it was great. I walked in without an appointment, the whole process was quick and smooth, and the person at the counter was friendly and easy to work with. John Nguyen - you need to find a new job that you love and enjoy doing or take a few classes on how to provide good customer service!! I went in to this store to send a large cashier's check to payoff a loan. I paid $20 to send it, was given a receipt and was told he was going to print the label later. I left the store and 3 hours later still no email with a tracking number..which means my label was still not printed yet. I went back in only to find my check on top of my envelope left out on the scale while he was helping two other customers on the other side of the store. I was very upset that he treated my package like that. Whether he was just turned around for 2 seconds or less that is not how you treat your customers' package! I demanded that I would not leave until I see him print my label, seal my package and put away for pick up. Every UPS store I've been to, they print my label right away, seal package and put away for pick up before you leave the store. Horrible customer service!!!! read more

I was in a hurry to print for a meeting. I was having some issues with my USB drive. While I struggled, Ammara allowed me to use his computer in the back room. We were able to get it to print. Ammara knew I was getting stressed about being late to my meeting. I gave him my card to ring me up, he just said ... Go to your meeting!! I told him I will come back after the meeting to pay him. I was not late and the meeting had very positive results. I later realized I forgot to go back and pay my bill!! I called Ammara to pay the bill over the phone. He told me not to worry about it, he was more concerned about me being late to my meeting. Truly the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever. Nothing to do with note being charged, but because my priority was Ammara's priority!! Great place with Great customer service. read more

I'm surprised to read such bad reviews about the customer service here. Maybe the older employees no longer work here, but I had a pleasant experience at this store. I went in today needing pretty much everything the UPS store offers: notarization, live scan fingerprinting, shipping packages, and mailing out postcards (keep in mind, today was the day after Labor Day, and the store was busy). Despite all the tasks I had to finish, Jhon provided excellent customer service while tending to other customers' needs as well. He was very patient in spite of all the things I asked him to do! This place is a rip off. Was charged $95 to ship a package that would of cost $51 at the post office. To bad I researched the prices after the fact. He also purposely entered the wrong email address so we couldn;t see how much we got ripped off. I hope he enjoys the $ he overcharged me because he's lost all my future business. Went on Saturday and asked for help scanning a document on their copier. Reply: "I don't know how the scanner works". No one else working there to assist. I'll drive the extra 5 miles to the Fed Ex store next time. No more UPS store in Dublin, as this was not the first time I had poor service there. This would be no stars if I could do that! read more

Not a good UPS Store. Store itself looks unorganized for boxes and shipments behind the counter. Customer service is pretty bad. You ask anything to the girl, she says she doesn't know, unknowledgeable about UPS process's. The guy is rude. They also give out wrong information and charge incorrectly. Not a good experience. I My daughter and I had gone to this store to ship the package and do some copies. They charged us incorrectly, gave wrong information. While I was waiting I heard couple of customers complaining to them about mishandling their packages. Will definitely not go in again. read more

Some of the stores I avoid completely,but every time I've been in this one I've either have dealt with Jon or Shaneen and they both go above and beyond to help me. Went to this location to have a one-page letter notarized, and then mailed for overnight delivery to the east coast. When I was told (by the woman who notarized the letter) that it would cost $70 - $40 to mail it overnight depending on delivery times, I told the her I would take it to the post office to mail. She told me that it would cost only a little less at the post office, and then she suggested mailing it 2-day for $30. I decided to mail the letter 2-day with UPS, and left the store. When I got to the car, I realized that I had been overcharged an extra $3.16 plus a sales tax of $.96 for 3 cards I had purchased there. I went back into the store and asked why I had been overcharged. I was told that they add an extra charge for all cards they sell in the store (the extra charge is not posted anywhere so you are unaware of it before purchasing the cards). I was given the amount overcharged, and left the store. Irritated with being overcharged, I decided to go to the post office to find out what they would have charged to send an overnight letter - $18.95!!! Now really upset, I drove back to the UPS store, retrieved my letter, returned the cards, and drove back to the post office to mail the letter. read more

I went to the UPS store to drop off a large stroller that we had wrapped in plastic. Originally, I had set up a pick up from Amazon, and was told I could package the item in a plastic bag or box. Unfortunately, the UPS driver came a night early, and we weren't ready for the pick up and he said he could come back the next day. Well, as expected, he never came back. I called Amazon again and set up another pick up and missed it the next day! I was home and never heard a knock on the door. At this point, my husband and I were annoyed that both pick ups fell through, so we decided to drop the item off at the UPS store. When we arrived, we were initially told that we could not drop the item as it was not packaged properly. My husband was disappointed and frustrated that we could not drop the package off and just as he was about to leave, the UPS employee, Ammara went above and beyond to help us and made sure we didn't leave disappointed. We were very pleased and happy that she could help us out and we really hope Ammara's boss recognizes his/her employee, as she made us a very happy customer. read more

This is really the worst UPS store I have ever encountered. Believe those 1 star reviews. This place has the worst customer service that I go out of the way and go to the UPS store in San Ramon on Bollinger Canyon instead. But I stupidly thought to give it another chance and after asking the owner if he can spare one strip of tape because my tape was a bit loose he said, "How long do you think you can last with your tape? Next time you have to buy your own tape. Im putting tape on your box now but next time I will charge you $2." Why does this guy think there will be a next time? I guess his margins are so razor thin with these pre-paid drop off boxes that really he doesn't want your business. There is so many other UPS locations that really it's not worth getting high blood pressure by dealing with this guy! read more

THIS UPS STORE WILL RIP YOU OFF! I took three packages here on Dec. 17, 2014 to be shipped to VA and MI. The total weight for these packages could not have exceeded 10 pounds together. These were not oddly shaped boxes. This store initially said it would be $178 to ship these three items with a 3-day delivery. After I balked, they said they would deliver it via ground and may take 7-10 days. The price came down to $105. I was not issued tracking numbers until the next day through email. When I looked at the packages in shipment, the weight was indicated at 25 pounds for one box. The other boxes had similar weights. Again, the total weight for all three boxes was less than 10 pounds. In the end they were delivered in 3 days. I am filing a complaint with UPS and hope this franchise is shut down. I am hesitant to EVER use UPS again. read more

Definitely learned my lesson on waiting last minute. I needed stamps and didn't have time to stop by the post office so I thought I would go to the local UPS store. The markup on their book of stamps is ridiculous. $13.00 for a pack of 20 stamps. Too bad I needed three books of stamps which ended up costing me an extra $10 to get. Lesson learned! read more

She waited 2 mins before she acknowledged me (mind you I had a 2 year old, can't really miss me) she was very quick with me. Not a polite person to say the least. I went to this store to buy postage and envelopes for a couple of time sensitive checks I had to send out. After purchasing the postage and the envelopes I verbally confirmed with the woman that she would put the letters in her outgoing mail. WELL, SHE DIDNT. I was very embarrassed when I got a call from one of the places I was sending a check to telling me they hadn't received payment and they were going to cancel my services. Later on I checked my bank account to see if the other check I had assumed this UPS store would send out had been cashed, and of course IT HAD NOT BEEN CASHED BECAUSE THEY NEVER PUT THE ENVELOPE IN THEIR OUTGOING MAIL. I will never go back to this place AGAIN!!! When I went in the guy behind the counter, Jose said for me to fill out the shipping order form and went to the back to continue eating, he told me to let him know when I was done. When he processed my order he gave me my receipt. I asked him if I could also have a tracking number for my order, he said, "we don't get that until we process the order at the end of the day." That they would email me the tracking number later. I said that at the UPS store I normally go to they always print the tracking label for me and if he could do it for me? He said that I would need to wait for him to do it after he helped the other 2 people who were now in the store. I said, "why would I need to wait if I was here before they came in?" He said, "because they are not going to want to wait for him print the label". I was shocked I guess it was okay for me to wait, since I was asking him to do something he didn't want to do. He went ahead and helped a customer and then asked the second customer, "would it be okay if I help her so that I can get her out of here." I was so ready to say something but at that point I was ready to just get out of the store. Plus I didn't want him to do something to my package that I needed to make sure got to it's destination save. It took him all of two minutes to type the information into the computer and print out the label. Based on the other reviews I see that I have not been the only one who has received horrible service at this place. Don't know how they stay in business. read more
