Had dinner last Friday with my husband and it was fantastic! The terrace is a beautiful private restaurant, lovely ambiance and very classy. Our server, Benson was very kind, knowledgeable and professional. We had a few questions on allergies and he didn't hesitate to figure out perfect dining options. This was our first time eating at The Terrace and I was simply amazed at my experience here. My boyfriend and I had a couple of drinks at the Tap Room beforehand and got a little hungry so we decided to try out their restaurant. So I'll start off with the food. We ordered the brussels sprouts plate because we wanted to be adventurous and try something different. The brussels sprouts were delicious and flavorful. The pomegranate seeds provided the perfect subtle sweetness that balanced out the savory taste of bacon. Simply scrumptious! We sat outside by the pool as the day was perfectly mild to enjoy lunch outdoors. While the food was delicious, the reason I want to give this visit five stars is really for the service. We were attended by Randy who was absolutely attentive. As soon as we were seated, waters were brought out and routinely refilled without having to ask. Food was promptly served, which was great because waiting for food is always my least favorite thing about eating out. He was knowledgeable and thoroughly explained to us why my wine glass was bigger than my boyfriend's. We are not wine connoisseurs so I definitely would have questioned that. Luis, who I believe was the manager also checked in with us and this was something I really appreciated because although it was pretty slow (there were only a couple of other tables seated) they still wanted to ensure that we received top notch service. Last year my family spent our Easter at the Langham Huntley. I originally had a reservation at the Royce's Easter buffet but I couldn't get an earlier reservation than 2pm. My young children would be very hungry by then so I put my name in for a table at the Terrace and they were able to accommodate us although they were extremely busy. The food selection was very limited and the brunch was very disappointing. The freshly made Belgian waffles were the ugliest I have ever seen. The only redeeming part was that they were served with cute miniature glass jars of warm maple syrup. The omelette bar ran out of avocado. The omelette chef just scraped what was left in a bowl and couldn't even refill it. The dim sum and juk and its condiments were just plain gross. The toast, bagels, pastries were generic and not house made by a pastry chef which I would have expected from other similar hotels. The smoked fish and condiments were blah. The fruit weren't nice and the desserts were beautiful but tasted terrible. My DH who has the lowest standards in food thought the food was horrible, too... I'm not a fan of buffet brunches but for the price I would hope the items would at least be quality. I've eaten at The Royce and the food there is good. It is sooo beautiful here on a Sunday afternoon brunching with the girls. We loved it so much we didn't want to leave. We decided to sit outside on this lovely day on the terrace for our girls brunch, instead of the dining room. It was very relaxing near the pool and with a breeze blowing, it was perfect. We decided not to go with the buffet and ordered a la carte. All of us were eyeing the Red Velvet Waffle, but didnt want it for our entree, so we decided to share between the 5 of us. It was pretty good, it had the right rv flavor & crispiness of a waffle. It came with vanilla bean whipped cream which was delish. But for $15 for one waffle, it was kinda steep. Three of us ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict and it was yummy! The eggs were over hard poached which I like because I dont like runny yolks. The hollandaise sauce was right on. It came with two small benedicts & a small portion of hash browns. The portion was perfect for me, but hungry guys may need to order 2. We ordered juices & coffees all around and the service was good. I've been here a few times for lunch & dinner and always get great service & an elegant meal. What a ROMANTIC hotel! SO quaint and romantic! Came here for the "Premium Three Course" ($58 per person) - pick 1 app, 1 entree, 1 dessert. I came with a friend and we were able to share :) Start: 1) Seared Sea Scallops (Truffle Celery Root Puree, Sauteed Wild Mushrooms, & Veal Jus) - 2 scallops on top of sauteed mushrooms. Scallops were very tender and the entire dish was very flavorful. 2) Roasted Goat Cheese and Baby Arugula (Heirloom Tomatoes, Sherry Basil Vinaigrette, & Merlot Reduction) - 2 words: GOAT CHEESE. They give you a FAT BLOCK of goat cheese - at least 1 inch thick and 3 inches wide! Every bite was heaven! Went perfectly with the kick of arugula! ABSOLUTELY AWFUL BRUNCH. First the cold facts, then I'll elaborate. Apparently, this used to be a wonderful Sunday brunch spot with meat carving stations, seafood towers and the like. Not anymore. It seems they've economized, and it is now an abysmal excuse for a brunch buffet, with only an omelet station, some dry pastries, some dry bacon and sausage in a heating tray, a pile of bagels, a toaster, disgustingly presented blobs of cream cheese and butter, some smoked salmon on a platter, and then five or six "dim sum" items in heating trays (which taste like reheated frozen fare). THAT'S IT. There's nothing else! No waffles, no pancakes, no crepes, no french toast, no meat carving station, no seafood tower, no cheese array, no cured meat assortment, no vegetable choices, no salad fare. And for this, they charge $42 per person! It's all set up at the bottom of a staircase, where you'd least expect food to be, and just so poorly thought out. I brought my family here for last Mother's Day brunch since my mom likes The Langham and didn't want to go to Bouchon. We arrived on time for our 1 pm reservation and were seated outside. It would've been lovely had it not been 90 degrees outside, so we moved indoors. We started off with Salt & Pepper Biscuits ($8) and a Fruit Plate ($14). We came here on Friday and Saturday for breakfast. Service was okay. We had the same waitress two days in a row. The older women with gray hair tied in a pony tail. It seems like she hates her job. She is far from friendly and does the basics of her job. The first day, it was incredibly slow when it came to taking care of our bill. We waited about 15mins before the waiter came and grabbed it. FOOD Friday Chicken N Biscuits - This was a very hearty dish. My fiancé throughly enjoyed it. The biscuits were pretty dry but I supposed with the right amount of sauce over it, the biscuits were okay. Breakfast Burrito - This was a standard burrito. Nothing spectacular. I could get a better and bigger burrito elsewhere that did not cost $18. Saturday Huevos Rancheros - I thought it was probably the better dish over the two days. It had a lot of flavor. Oatmeal - I realized that you can mess up oatmeal but they cooked it pretty well where it was not too watery and not too dry. For the convenience of this restaurant, we came here twice. Now for the not so good.......In perusing the menu in The Terrace, it is clear that room service orders come from The Terrace (the menus are identical). Room service was awful. Food was room temperature, not hot, and both orders were incorrect - even the one that where we clarified allergies were the reason for the special request. Took so long to get the food, we ate what we could. I came here for the so-called Dim sum Brunch to celebrate my mother's birthday, and was thoroughly disappointed at the quality and selections of dim sum there. First of all there were only 5 types of dim sum, they looked and tasted all from frozen, the wrappers were all soggy, I can get 10 times better tasting food at a cheap dim sum restaurant for 1/4 or even 1/5 of the price they charged here. Then there was this regular roast duck that pretended to be the Peking duck. The skin of a real Peking duck is crispy and flavorful, the skin of the duck they served there was not crispy at all and meat was cold -- lukewarm at best. Other food items were also ordinary, the kind you can get from a 3 star hotel or B&B breakfast buffet -- bacon, sausages, omelet, etc. Another thing that I found hard to believe was that at a restaurant inside a 5 star hotel, they handed out the cheapest disposable chopsticks they could find! Here is a picture of what I got: dirty looking, low quality disposable chopsticks with a huge splinter that could potentially poke a hole in someone's mouth. The only good thing about eating here was the classy dining setting, but even that wasn't all that impressive and certainly wouldn't make up for the disappointing food I experienced that day. Came here for a dinner and the place was gorgeous. Service was emaculate. I had the corn soup (one of the best ever had) prime rib dinner (not the best prime rib I ever had it was just ok) my friends had the steak, truffle fries, chocolate souffle, snapper and fingerling potatoes. Idk what wine they order but it was strong I was buzzed after the 1st glass. And a high recommendation on the white cranberry cosmo that was delicious. My gracious friends took the bill and treated. My dinner was $38 came with soup or salad, the prime rib had a baked potatoe and greens a piece of broccoli and green beans, which was over cooked. My cosmo was $12 & our shared wine was about $100 something. So this place is pricey but the view and service is great for special occasions as it was just that. They valet only. It's $14 but with validation it's $6. My party consist of a mix of people and there were some elderly people and their traditions are different. In Italy it's very rude to bring the bill without the customer asking. But they had an up roar because they got the bill without being asked if they wanted dessert. The server said he offered but I guess they didn't hear it. We were there a bit later as well. But through it all the server and staff was patient, apologetic and accommodating. Part deux: Some may consider this borderline extravagant but I ended up having two back to back dinners at the Terrace with two different dinner parties. I say I'm doing my part to stimulate the economy. Service was worse on the second night: our waiter dropped a glass on the table with such force I'm surprised it didn't break. He also forgot to bring out one dessert and didn't bother apologizing. A little effort would have been nice. The food was still great. The mussels were so impressive I had them again. Yup, still delicious! For the entree I had the sea bass with shrimp and asparagus. It was great on flavor but the fish was on the tough side. The shrimp and asparagus were excellent. For dessert I had the chocolate-raspberry that looked so gorgeous the night before. It's a chocolate mouse set on top of a raspberry meringue. It tasted as good as it looked. I sampled some other desserts: the chocolate-chocolate dessert consisted of a mini molten chocolate cake, a chocolate-beet gelato and a chocolate pot-de-creme. The cake was good but the beet gelato was weird. We didn't finish it. There was a decorative application of raspberry sauce on the place which was fantastic! Wish there was more of it. Creme brulee came with a shortbread cookie and vanilla gelato. Meh, I've had better. Which is weird because I had creme brulee at the Langham before, at afternoon tea, and that was phenomenal. That creme brulee was served in a mini gram cracker crust, and we suspect that made all the difference. I wonder if that was by a different pastry chef. read more

The food is awful & overpriced. The food looks picturesque, but every dish I had was salty & overcooked. The $14 scallops are just two scallops cut in half (yes, that's $7 per scallop!). Plus, they were soo salty. I would've sent them back, but then service is so slow that it took 30 mins for our order to arrive -- and we were just a table of 4. A friend ordered the $15 shrimp cocktail of just three shrimp (yes, that's $5 per shrimp!). Lol, and he complained that it was salty. Another friend ordered calamari -- ditto, salty. When our main courses arrived another 20 mins later, none of us finished our plates. My veal scallopini was drenched in salty marsala sauce. A friend's paella was drenched in salty mayonnaise. Came here one weekend for the breakfast buffet. For $48 a person, the selections were extremely limited. Sausage/bacon station, omelette station, dim sum station (ha gow, siu mai, veggie dumpling, bbq pork steamed bun and congee with pickled preserves), bagel/waffle/cereal station, cheese/salmon/salami station, and lastly dessert station. Nothing stood out for the price. How embarrassing! The interior was not as grand as I had hoped. The ceilings are low. Walls/baseboards can use a new coat of paint. And drapery needed steaming. Disappointment sums it up for the Valentine's Day prix fixe dinner at The Terrace. The food and service were both underwhelming, to say the least. Our waiter did not even attempt to engage us in conversation, our courses were separated by incredibly long spaces of time, and the dishes were mediocre at best. The lobster bisque and hamachi crudo were just okay, but nothing to rave about. Our main course, cod with an ox tail accompaniment was overly salted to the point that it was inedible. For dessert, the dark chocolate cake and milk chocolate heart with strawberry mousse were pretty good, but our waiter did not even offer us coffee or an after dinner drink. The price per person ($150) was outrageous for the quality of cuisine and inattentive service. Our expectations were high coming in, but we will not be back based on this experience. To top it off, a 20% service charge was automatically applied for a party of two and valet parking was still $15 after validation. The Terrance is one of three restaurants in the Langham (formerly the Ritz Carlton Pasadena). It's a bit tucked away, the guide at the entrance said you make a right, a left, and then another right. He could have just said follow the signs starting on your right and head down then stairs when you see the pool. Came to celebrate at birthday here and take advantage of the DineLA menu. The actual menu was pretty reasonable and the venue is quite nice so makes for a nice brunch date or special occasion lunch. The hostess was a bit snooty and they didn't do anything for our birthday guest so knocking a star off the bat. Also there was no complimentary bread, only reason i bring this up is because the food wait was quite long and we had a pregnant mother that began feeling light head from waiting. This is our favorite place for our anniversary celebration. The food is getting more and more exquisite with several choices for vegetarians. Of course the amazing steak dishes are still there for carnivores like my husband. But the last time we visited my husband tried their vegan meatloaf and it was delicious. Came for a Sunday birthday brunch and did not leave disappointed. We ordered off the menu, made a reservation and enjoyed a table on the patio. Our young son had the children's breakfast and it was a true bargain. I had the shrimp and grits. I didn't really catch the Cajun notes- but I did really enjoy the smooth creamy grits and the perfectly cooked shrimp. My hubs had the short ribs eggs Benedict - very very good. But the problem is that this is NOT a Dennis, the Terrace brags about its fine chefs (and is located in what is supposed to be the best hotel in Pasadena), and this is the root of the problem, the Terrace simply do not deliver on the promises, I ordered a simple $30 hamburger, medium rare, it was delivered half cold and the cheese on top had hardened before it arrived, it clearly had been sitting for a while under a heat-lamp in the kitchen. this is un-acceptable at $30 the delivery time was long and I did not want it remade, after all, why would I go to such a lovely restaurant to have my food served cold and then re-made, the entire point is, places like this is supposed to be perfect the first time. (and every time for that matter) So therefore, in-spite of tasty food and lovely views, this place promises so much and falls just short enough to be a flop experience, I can only offer 2 stars because I am comparing this place against other similarly prices establishments. This place has so much potential to be better and it's really sad that it just isn't. We came on a Monday afternoon for the dineLA menu. Upon first walking in, it seemed like the waiters were all unorganized and didn't want to be there. The setting is also beautiful but with any sort of background noise (like nice music), it kind of ruined the ambiance. I ordered the chicken adobo and it came undercooked. Not even by a little bit.. It was raw in the middle. They came back with it later and it was cooked fine but they didn't compensate us at all for it. I also had the caramel apple cheesecake and it was extremely small. Tasty, but small. I really want to come back here in the hope that they can and have the potential to improve but it might be really hard to justify it. read more

Let me start by saying that I love the Langham, the hotel is beautiful and the service is impeccable... BUT the Terrace is a sad disappointment. Firstly, the Terrace is in bad need of a face lift, there are areas where the paint is chipping, the awful metal work is a tetanus shot waiting to happen, the carpets are dirty and just sad. I have been visiting the Terrace for over 15 years and I don't think there have been any new improvements since the first time I visited. Now onto the important things... the food. The hubby and I came in with our son during DineLA, when we walked by the Royce the host asked if we would care to dine there... we should have listened! But alas I wanted to visit the Terrace, we ordered the following: Baby Beet and Burrata - this was ok Spaghetti Squash - this reminded me of aglutton free version of Pad Thai, it was ok, the Pancetta was a little lost in the dish, but not bad Pappardelle with Cognac Cream Sauce - the pasta was cooked nicely, but the sauce was awful, they burned the mushrooms and spinach in the dish so everything just tasted burnt and the chicken was ridiculously dry Moroccan Skirt Steak - my husband asked for medium rare, but the steak came out rare, there was no way to cut through it... Black Cod Fish and Chips - so as a replacement to the skirt steak my husband got the overly salty fish and chips, the breading on this was incredibly thick and the kale slaw was soggy Almond Poppy Chamomile Cake - this was ok but the ice cream had ice crystals in them Key Lime Panna Cotta - this was lacking in flavor, there was no tartness from the limes The dishes did not seem very fresh as the garnishes on the dishes were all dried out or wilting. Came here for DineLA lunch and couldn't help but be amazed at how gorgeous The Langham was. We valet our car, which you can get validated if you are dinning at the hotel. after a couple of turns in the hotel, we finally arrived downstairs at The Terrace. We gave the hostess our name because we had made reservations ahead of time. I remember thinking she wasn't very professional, but rather rushed and carried a slight tone of attitude in her voice. The male who escorted us to our table though, however, was very professional and courteous. It was a beautiful day out so we decided to sit outdoors. It's about 20 feet from the pool, where you can see lots of people just lounging around and etc. I thought it was slightly strange (not for me.. but for the people at the pool to have people dinning right next to them)... but OH WELLS. *here's a note.. don't sit outside. I found myself having to fight off flies every 2 minutes and trying to cram my food as much as I can before the bees decided to attack* I ordered the Watermelon Salad w/ salmon. It was refreshing, sweet, and delicious. I can not even explain how sweet the berries and watermelon was. It was a great combination with the greens. The salmon was moist and cooked perfectly. However, what I did not enjoy was finding 2 pieces of a slighty brown turned tomato as the base of my salad. For dessert, I ordered the Espresso Creme Brulee. Not like your typical creme brulee. At the base, you have pieces of a mini cake supporting a cookie square. On top of that is the espresso creme brulee, lightly torched and decorated with a chocolate mousse like sphere. I found it a bit difficult to eat through. But it was good nonetheless. I started to get really tired of it half way through. I gave up on trying to break through the cookie piece and it was starting to all just get really sweet. I think I would have appreciated a regular creme brulee instead. Pricey, but good! $18 eggs benedict? $15 waffle? Believe it. But it will be the best hotel restaurant waffle you've ever had! Nice view of the pool. Very peaceful setting, for breakfast at least. Complimentary New York Times. Coffee and juice free flowing, excellent wait staff who also knew everything about the breakfast vouchers we were using. You get what you pay for at this fancy place. Langham is such a beautiful and elegant place. If you're lucky, you might be able to find parking along the street outside if not you have to valet at the hotel @$5. Made a reservation for The Terrace on labour day holiday and it wasn't crowded. Oh, once you arrived at the hotel lobby, turn to the right and follow the sign to direct you to the flight of stairs down leading to get to the Terrace. It is not easy to find, ask for direction at the reception if you're lost. It's such a relaxed and peaceful place to have brunch. If the weather is not too hot, get a seat at the patio overlooking the pool. It will make you feel as if you're on holiday! I ordered a Combination Meal (half soup half salad) @$16. Picked French Onion Soup and Kale Salad. The dish is very elegantly presented and portion is perfect for me. French onion soup is very very good with lots of onions! Kale salad has crispy carrots and strips of sweet and juicy young coconut that gives the salad an even more refreshing taste. Very different from the kale salad that I usually have. We expected overpriced food based on the location, but disappointed in the lack of chicken sausage in potato hash one of our party ordered. We also were not expecting a rushed feeling due to an inpatient server who also failed to bring decaf. Busboy (tall, thin, young with trimmed facial hair) was very nice, as was hostess. Server (thick dark hair with some grey and accent) was not so great. The Langham is a beautiful, well maintained property. Very classy and old school. The gardens are manicured. The long dark hallways with huge paintings always give me a kick, during my stroll and contemplation, lost in my own thoughts. Locating The Terrace restaurant is no easy feat. It's down two flight of stairs and by the pool. Choices of both indoor or outdoor sitting. The tables by the pool are quite pleasant, under the shade of huge umbrellas. The service is prompt and professional. Our waiter took our orders and got us coffee right away. Our lunch was nor underwhelming or over. I noticed that most of the clientele seems to be a little snotty. Maybe it's the area...? read more

Enjoy sunday brunch at this classy restaurant, comfortable seating with a beautiful outside pool view. They no longer served the sunday champagne brunch that they used to have. I believe they only have it on special occasions now eg. mother's day, xmas etc. With the new brunch menu, it is still all-you-can-eat but with much less options and more reasonable price ($30). As of food, they have an omelet station (the pretty standard type), a rather large pastries section (you can easily be filled up by those croissants), 3-4 types of fine cheese selection, a mix of fruits (personal favorite is the berries, they also have melon, pineapple, grapes etc.), smoked salmon, a few cold cuts and a hot station with potatoes, scrambled eggs etc. For some people you might not be satisfied with what they offered, honestly the choices are quite limited as they are no meat (other than smoked salmon and some cold cuts). Also the quality has gone down a bit, I remembered they used to have freshly made sushi rolls, petite hot pies, a lot more hot dishes and a more delicate collection of food options. But the prices were a lot more higher back then too (at least $75) and was very difficult to make a rsvp. So I found the new price a lot more affordable, at least for me. I generally don't eat as much so what they offer is good enough, and now I don't have to get in line to get food :) Unlimited refills for orange juices/coffee if you are getting the buffet. Otherwise, they also have a regular brunch menu which is also very good. Make sure you spend at least 2 hours here, it will be worth it to just enjoy the restaurant and the view. They also have musicians playing on Sundays. Take a walk outside the hotel after as they have a lovely garden. Complimentary valet parking. read more

I'm honestly not the type to write a review of every single establishment that I go to because for me, well the experience has to be either really excellent or very VERY bad. Sadly, this is a review about the latter. First off, I can't express how disappointing the service here was. I wasn't even done ordering and the waiter kept trying to leave as if he's in a rush to go somewhere. I ordered the kale and prosciutto salad. When it came out, there was no prosciutto and it had 3 pieces of candied pecans. Why the heck is this $15? But ok I guess because it's the Langham, fine. But that in mind, I obviously expected a lot from this restaurant given the same reason. Another thing is that my friend found a gnat on the bottom of her water glass. I understand if it flew in there then it would have been floating on top of the water. But it was obviously there to begin with, it was on the bottom of the glass. The waiter got her a new glass and did not even apologize. Fine. What really ticked me off was when someone asked me if I wanted a box for my food. I told this person, "no I'm still working on my food". Mind you, I was literally still chewing and was reaching for a piece of their sad excuse for fries. This guy then asks if he can give us the check. This was after 2pm, obviously after the lunch rush. The restaurant was already almost empty. WTF? Can I at least finish my food first? We were so disappointed we had to call the manager. At least he was nice enough to apologize. I honestly wouldn't have reacted this way if the restaurant was not associated with Langham. Weeks before my birthday brunch I asked for a Vegan Tofu Scramble for my wife. Since the reservationist spoke no Vegan, she wrote it down. Morning of.... I called to remind. They were too busy to answer the phone, so left message. We came, we ordered. We got SCRAMBLED EGGS with little white cubes of soft tofu....lol. There can be a difference between real class and faux class. This entire place is real class, but the Vegan Potstickers were labeled veg HarGow. The musicians had no smiles. Wait staff not well trained in either Menu or Vegan. I Asked about how the bacon lardons. No clue? A senior breakfast chef would help. I have been going to the Terrace for brunch for a while but truthfully it had been a long time since i had been there for breakfast and dinner. I love a place that's mission is service and that the food is egually as good as the service. I decided to order a bunch of things to try and i was really happy with what i chose. I ordered brussel sprouts that were so memorable i have been craving them since i had them. I am a pretty good cook and I dont know that i could copy these sprouts. They were like a FLAVOR explosion. Really super delicious. The artichoke i had was like a piece of art but the flavor was unlike any other artichoke i had ever had. I grew up eating artichokes that were grilled as well but this artichoke was so good with these crunchy bits on top i wanted to go meet the chef and have him teach me what he did. Everything i had there even the fruit platter was done really well. The only downfall was being attacked by mosquitoes. if you get attacked like i do douse yourself in lavender or something. Went back for a luxurious birthday weekend off season! This time we opted for a bigger room in one of the cottages in the back of the hotel, and it was relaxing. We dined at the hotel for an early meal, and found the menu much improved since last time. Love the impecable service, and being serenaded by wedding musicians from the perpetual weddings taking place on the terrace porch above us. New lobster pot pie caught our eye, and we ordered expectantly. It was a bit heartier then the usual, and really filled the bill as the cool early spring evening light faded. Lots of heaters, and a decent wine list to delight us, this became a relaxing extended family meal! read more

Sitting poolside while enjoying an omelet sounds actually pretty darn nice....but getting a free dinner thanks to my office wasn't too shabby either. What's on the menu? Very classic East coast fare I'd say. Its cutely separated by where your meat comes from. From the Land? From the Sea? From the Garden? There are steaks, chicken dishes, salads, sandwiches, clam bakes, and lobster pot pies for you to choose from. Some people recommend the prime rib...but its only served on weekends! What foods stood out? None. For what you are paying..the food is verrrrrry average. The potatoes that came with my flank steak was very salty. Thankfully, the French onion soup I had was not salty (rare!) and the free tomato dip & assorted breads that come out? Amazing. **DO NOT order the lobster pot pie. It was unanimous at our table that it was the WORST dish!** How was the service? Average. They kept mixing up our orders and wasn't particularly paying close attention to us. Service wasn't bad...but I expect much more from restaurants like this. I'd possibly come back for a weekend brunch..but for dinner? Skip. I took down my one star list and could not remember if I gave this one star in 2010, but I gave it 2 stars. In order to give this place a second try and because I did so like it decorated for Christmas when it was the Ritz, we went back. This place was full of life. When we arrived there were plenty of eager valets, and yes, both doors were opened. The entry was pretty, all in white and silver. I saw two bridal groups doing photos. We walked down the stairs to the Terrace and two young women greeted us there and we were promptly seated on the patio. We ordered the caprese salad and the fish tacos The food is OK, a little on the small side on the servings, to me this is the coffee shop for the Langham, and it's coffee shop fare. I go here for the environment and the hotel and grounds are still beautiful. Service at every turn was good to excellent. I cannot speak for their brunch, I haven't had it. read more

Came here to celebrate Mother's Day. (The brunch in the ballroom is $$$$ and was already fully booked). I was told there would be a "special" Mother's Day brunch also in The Terrace. It didn't look that special. Omelet station, carving station, small pastry selection, Seafood selection consisted of salmon lox, scallops and shrimp, Dim sum was bao, shu mai, dumplings and rice porridge (congee). There were also (hard) waffles off to the side. Things that I really did like: They served Mimosas and gave a rose to all the Moms. The pianist was wonderful. The omelet station was very efficient with lots of variety. Service was good and the location is beautiful. For the price, I would not come back.
