Well I always have to try bbq when in available. Sorry but this was not up to my liking. Got the hot link sausage "loaded". With mustard sauce and slaw. Big mistake. Get it plain. The sausage was well smoked and jalapeño flavored. Just over done. The greens were bland and oily. The chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce was very dry. The Mac n cheese was not baked but boiled noodles and the kids loved it. Prob the best thing we had. Thats too bad because I really wanted to like this place. Just my opinion and everyone has different tastes so take it with a grain of salt.

Order was taken right away. Cashier was very friendly and attentive. Great tasting pulled chicken and pork sandwiches. As well as the brisket fries. The collard greens were very disappointing. They needed more flavor and so did the mac & cheese. Mac & cheese looked like a cheese sauce was just poured over the pasta and mixed. Order is taken at the counter and you pick up your order when you are notified. No ketchup was made available for fries, sadly. Canned sodas, beer and glass beverages available for purchase. Very loud indoors... Waited for about 15 minutes for our food. Outdoor seating available. Also a variety of music playing outside. First time eating here and not sure if I would come back here.

The food here is really good. The brisket melts in your mouth. The pulled pork is really good. The ribs are tender. The chicken is good for bbq but I don't usually eat chicken at bbq. The collard greens are yummy. So is the Mac and cheese. The potato salad is ok. The fries are good too, especially with the cheese sauce. Oh ya the cubano sandwich is pretty amazing too. The staff is kind and friendly as well. Would recommend.

The owner is very friendly and easy to like. The customer service is wonderful and the wait time is minimal. The ambiance is fantastic as it reminds me of a southern blues and bbq joint (without the live music and the Smokey air). As far a as the food goes, for my first time I tried the brisket burger, cornbread with hot butter, and the collards. The cornbread was soft and fluffy, sweet and savory, but the hot melted butter made it that much better. The collards were absolutely perfect! The right combination of Smokey, fatty, and earthy. The brisket burger left a bit to be desired. I sampled the brisket before ordering and it was perfect! The brisket burger lacked flavor,l and was a bit greasy. The melted cheese was a bit much as it over powered the burger. The bun was perfectly toasted.

Nice location and nice shopping center around if you want to look around with shops, coffee and other goodies. Nice little place to walk around. This place is located inside with 4 more food vendors to choose from which is great, seating is spacious and they have a great bar selection as well in the corner of the building. The food was incredible the brisket is a must and the Mac and cheese def. This place will not disappoint. Def going back to try the other venues as well.

All was excellent. I'm from the South so this BBQ was pretty good. Quality was good with the BBQ, just could use more sauce. Mac and cheese was mid, the fries were excellent, but the corn bread was the real winner here. Def a must try! Will def come back!

Made a quick pit stop and the bbq was shockingly good! Thought it was just going to be a quick bite to eat but it ended up being a place we want to visit again!

Incredible bbq. Had pulled pork and brisket. Brisket was super lean. Both pulled pork and brisket had great smoked flavor.

Service and the pulled pork was excellent . The home made bbq sauce is what really made the sandwich great.

Andy recommended the sausages as an appetizer, and let me tell you... we're still talking about how delicious they were. Big thank you to Andy for the great service and for making the trip totally worth it. We'll definitely be back!

I ordered the 2-meat combo platter with brisket and pork ribs, plus mac and cheese and beans. Unfortunately, the food was pretty underwhelming for the price. The brisket arrived dry and slightly oxidized-looking, with only two slices included. The ribs were overdone and mostly from the cartilage-heavy end of the rack. Flavor overall was decent, but nowhere near memorable. The mac and cheese was bland, the beans were okay, and even the pickles had an odd chemical taste to them. The service was genuinely great, which was the highlight of the experience, but at around $48 for the combo plate, the food quality just didn't justify the cost. For comparison, Heritage BBQ in San Juan Capistrano is in an entirely different league when it comes to quality and execution. This place felt much more geared toward tourists than serious BBQ fans.

For our meat we selected: - pork belly burnt ends - beef brisket - pulled pork The bbq was good, only complaint is it was served luke warm and therefore it got cold rather quickly. For our sides we had the Mac n Cheese and mashed potatoes. The Mac n Cheese tasted like boxed and not fresh so not our favorite. The biscuits were also luke warm and a bit hard. Not sure if their food sits for a while before it's served or not properly warmed as everything was served luke warm.

My husband asked for more michelada mix because it looked like they only out a drop in there. The bill came out to $90 and I don't think the food was worth that much honestly. The sliders were decent but did not live up to the price in either taster or portion. The baked beans lacked flavor and seemed watered down. Speaking of watered down, the fountain drinks were definitely watered down... with some remnants of possible hops or some other type of aftertaste. The service was okay because the gentleman working seemed nice but he appeared to be the only waiter in the whole place and was definitely overwhelmed. The place was wide open and pretty much all outdoors so it's cool for a bar but not great for a dinner date. All of this gave me the impression Steinerhaus would be better suited as a bar serving bar food. If those are your expectations you'll probably be okay. If you're looking for a great bbq place to have a date night, this ain't it.

Our guests all enjoyed it immensely, we heard nothing but rave reviews; and they still comment how the food at our wedding was the best ever. Pete went out of his way to help us throughout the process, from tastings to the main event; a truly kind and professional individual. He was always responsive to my emails and questions. My husband and I's favorite part, was by far the late night bites of pork belly sliders and mash potato bar. The appetizer meatballs also a game changer! Wish I could have a plate of everything as I write this. Since we had a fridge at the venue, we were able to keep our leftovers, which they packaged up for us. Though we didn't receive the toppings from the potato bar, only tiny hiccup, we did receive tons of leftovers that was such a bonus!
