This is one of my favorite places . Usually the foods are pretty delicious. Ambience also pretty good. Service sometimes disappoints me. But it's ok. . We usually sit at the bar but inside tables, is much more fancy. . If you are thinking anniversary, birthday, proposal...it's pretty good place!

I attended a small celebration with 3 people at Prime Rib. The ambiance, live music and wall decor was great and set the ton for a relaxed and vibing time. However for this to be an upscaled pricey restaurant I expect seating to be presentable. The vinyl seating was heavily cracked up and unsightly. Our waiter other waiter this night were all in their upper senior of age and unfortunately our waiter was reaching over food and touch, however he was very attentive. The menu is nothing to boast about nor the drinks. Over priced and not good. I had ordered Oyster casino, 2 drinks and potato skins. I enjoyed the music and the table bread. Not the food and drinks that I ordered. I will not be visiting

I've wanted to visit the OG Prime Rib location for awhile now and it certainly did not disappoint. We stopped by after the Rugby match at M&T and while the bar was full Austin who was working the host stand made sure we had two seats together. John the bartender was excellent behind the bar slinging drinks. The Prime Rib Sandwich was absolutely delicious and one of the best Prime Rib Sandwiches I've ever had. I seriously had a Prime Ribgasim while eating it. The Sandwich came with Onion Rings which were also excellent especially with the Horseraddish Sauce. The restaurant has a classy 1940s feel with a piano player on Saturday Nights. Highly recommend stopping by and sitting at the bar.

What a wonderful evening at The Prime Rib on Calvert Street! One of my friends gave us a gift certificate as a wedding gift that was purchased literally the night before the DC location closed after 50 years. We were so happy that the Baltimore location honored it, and they made our dual birthday and wedding celebration feel so special. From the second we arrived, GM Mark took great care of us. We started with drinks at the bar, where the team was so warm and gave fantastic food suggestions. Mark then surprised us with a lovely, secluded two-top table featuring the iconic high-back chairs brought over from the DC restaurant - a detail I absolutely loved! Our server, Darcel, was phenomenal. He was extremely attentive, personable, and shared some great history about the restaurant while keeping our entire meal perfectly paced. The food was incredible: The Prime Rib Steak: Cooked to an absolute perfect medium-rare. They kindly asked if we'd like it sliced before bringing it out, which we jumped on, and it came out served beautifully. The Sides: We shared the lobster mac and cheese (my husband LOVED!), a half order of the world-famous onion rings, and the steak fries. Everything arrived hot and completely hit the spot. Dessert: We finished with the gala apple pie topped with ice cream, which was out of this world. Thank you to Mark, Darcel, and everyone who made our night so memorable. We'll definitely be back!

This place is a class act from start to finish! From the outside the restaurant doesn't look like much, but as soon as you step through the front doors you are transported in time with staff in tuxedoes waiting to take your coat. The dining room is beautiful, cozy, and makes you feel like you are on the set of an old Hollywood movie. The Christmas decorations and jazz band just solidified the atmosphere and made the evening extra special! Our server Aaron was amazing. Perfectly executed drinks, apps, and dinner. You can tell the waitstaff have worked there for a long time which speaks volumes to the establishment. The food was 5/5 excellent. We got the famous potato skins and shrimp cocktail to start. Both were delicious, especially the skins with the horseradish sauce! I ordered the filet and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. This place is pricy but a fun splurge for a special occasion! Go and experience for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

We recently celebrated my husband's 60th birthday and it was definitely an A+ celebration! Jimbo was our waiter and not only was he attentive; what an awesome personality that made the evening that much more special. Cannot wait to return for another celebration! Food was delicious and ambiance did not disappoint.

Went to Prime Rib on a Friday night and had so much fun! The music, good food, and friendly staff really created a wonderful dinner out. There's something about a steakhouse where most of the servers have been there for several years that adds to the experience, I think our server said he's been working there for over 20 years! We ate way too much and enjoyed every bite. The prime rib was tender and flavorful. We also enjoyed the crispy onion rings and the crab cake. Mashed potatoes were delicious, creamy and buttery. I very much enjoyed the supper club steakhouse vibe here.

The Prime Rib is a great spot with an ambiance that really makes you feel like you're in a movie. It's classically styled and very cozy inside. They offer a lot of specials, and my partner and I tried the wagyu and wine menu. We especially loved the steaks and red wine pairings. We also ordered the potato skins, Brussels sprouts, and mac and cheese. Loved the mac but cared less for the other sides. Our server was highly attentive and provided a nice presentation that elevated the overall experience. Overall, this is a great spot for an elevated meal or special occasion.

Been in this area for 25 years and this was my first time at the Prime Rib!!! Wow best Steak House in Baltimore!!! Old-school supper club vibe, jazz quartet playing, waiters who have been there FOREVER. Amazing steaks, apps and crabcakes! It's not just about the food; it's the experience!!!

What sets The Prime Rib apart isn't just the amazing food, it's the atmosphere and service. The prime rib was one of the best I've had: flavorful, perfectly cooked, and melt-in-your-mouth good. The bar team deserves a shoutout too! the drinks were spot-on, from the bourbon selections to their signature cocktails. Service throughout the night was attentive and personable, making sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. The space has a sophisticated charm with live piano music in the background, which elevated the entire evening. This is easily one of the best dining spots in Baltimore when you want a memorable meal.

I am completely enamored with everything about The Prime Rib. One walk up the steps into the dining room that is adorned with leopard print carpet and a live piano player, I knew that I was in a place I would enjoy. We opted to sit at the bar, and Dan and Austin took care of us. At around 6:30 on a Sunday this bar was absolutely popping. Thankfully, a large party at the bar had a table resi so we snagged seats in the corner of the bar and began a lovely journey of martinis, carbs and of course prime rib. We started with the house salad which was great. We also split what I heard was one of their most popular dishes - a potato skin basket. I am unsure how I lived 36 years of life without ever experiencing such a thing. Who doesn't want perfectly crispy potatoes to be topped with horseradish and sour cream? It was DIVINE. On to the main - we opted to split the prime rib. It's a hefty 14 oz portion so you definitely want to share. There are a variety of sauces you can have with your entrees here, and we opted for bernaise. It also comes with horseradish. For sides, we got the creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. Life hack, save a potato skin and top it with creamed spinach. The great Anna S showed me this hack, and I am here to say this woman knows what's up. In terms of drinks, I of course had to order a dirty martini. This is a classic steakhouse dirty. It is filled to the brim, so much so they don't even add the olives into the drink until you take a few sips. The olives are hand stuffed with blue cheese and a wonderful salty addition to the briny martini of your dreams. This place is a total vibe. The bar has its own menu as well featuring sandwiches and a burger so I feel there is something to enjoy for every price point and craving here. Loved my experience, and especially loved knowing this has been family-owned and operated restaurant in Baltimore since 1965! A great steakhouse, good hospitality, and martinis truly never go out of style.

LOVE the classic vibe of this restaurant. The service was amazing. There was a piano player and a saxophone that added a lot to the classic sophisticated vibe. Such a great dining experience! My new favorite steakhouse in Baltimore

No one was dancing at this Dance Party, no one. Everyone was sitting down sipping and eating while Sade lightly played and some images were displayed on a sheet that was attached to the fence. They featured a few themed drinks and food was available next door that consisted of rotisserie chicken and other small dishes. I don't have much hopes for future listening parties.

Everything was so good! That fina'denne, kelaguen, and pancit were on point!! The chalakiles (filling inside the empanada) was so flavorful. Mmm! More flavorful than I'm used to! That was nice. The shell wasn't hard-crunchy like how many make it in Guam, but the shell still had a crunch to it!
