Meatballs

I went here for a private event and the event space was beautiful. They served us drinks while we mingled with other guests. The food was delicious. I loved the egg rolls, meatballs, flatbread, calamari and seafood imperial. The service was top notch and we were able to order coffee and tea as well. Would love to come back and try the other dishes.

We had an absolutely wonderful time celebrating our friend's birthday here! The private event space is stunning--beautifully elegant with breathtaking views overlooking the pond. Every bite of food and sip of drink was amazing. The appetizers were a huge hit, especially the shrimp spring rolls, fried calamari, and the pear and goat cheese flatbread. For dinner, we could choose between seafood imperial, grilled mahi mahi, or roasted chicken. I had the seafood imperial and it was phenomenal--so flavorful and generously loaded with shrimp and lump crab meat. The staff were incredibly kind, warm, and attentive, which made the night even more special. This place is perfect for gatherings and truly exceptional food. We can't wait to come back!

When the staff left us and just cut all the lights off in the restaurant!

I visited this restaurant for a birthday dinner celebration. The ambiance is extremely nice, we were seated in a semi private area with my table and one other table being in that section which was nice. The food is another story. The food is absolutely NOTHING to write home about. I intended on ordering the chicken but they ran out, I also wanted to try their mashed potatoes, but couldn't because they ran out of those as well. So against my better judgment, I ordered the $75 ribeye. Only to be told I couldn't order it past medium. So I did and it was definitely not medium more on the medium rare side. I could barely eat it. It was severely under-seasoned as well. I also ordered a wedge salad. I have never been so disappointed in the presentation of a salad in my life. I've ordered many wedge salads and what I received was not that. So I sent it back. The pricing of the food is absolutely ridiculous! $6 for fountain drinks is blasphemy! My last issue was how my party was left. The staff literally cut off all the lights and just left us after we paid our bill. It was pitch black in the restaurant! I decided to snap a pic because I honestly couldn't believe it! It was the most disrespectful thing I've ever encountered at a restaurant. The service was excellent, Nicki was our server and did an excellent job. I will never be back to this restaurant and will be sure to let people know not to visit as well. I only gave two stars for the service. Also it was a Saturday night. The restaurant was not packed like usual places on the weekend. And I see why! Between the pricing and the mediocre food it's clear people have chosen to spend their hard earned money elsewhere!

A Perfect Birthday Dinner With Stunning Views I took my girlfriend to Citron for her birthday dinner, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. We sat outside and wow--the view was absolutely breathtaking. Between the peaceful water, the wildlife, and the beautifully landscaped surroundings, it felt like a private escape just outside the city. Now let's talk about the food: she ordered the lamb shank over an herbed risotto, and it was incredibly tender and flavorful--she couldn't stop smiling. I went with the 16 oz French cut cowboy steak, and oh my goodness... perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Definitely one of the best steaks I've had in a while. Our waiter Jonathan was fantastic--attentive, kind, and easy to talk to without being overbearing. The restaurant itself was spotless, and every little detail--from the plating to the patio vibe--was just right. Highly recommend for special occasions or a romantic night out. Can't wait to return!

Citron, what a gem you are. Especially during these warmer months with the stunning patio overlooking the quarry. Their happy hour seems to be a bit overlooked but highly recommended. The food is pricey but quality. Beautiful restaurant, great food, incredible service. Highly recommend!

Mehhhh. I had high hopes for Citron for some reason. Came here for a birthday dinner. We were sat on the outside patio. Very beautiful view. Front staff immediately told us no outside cake but they would store it in their fridge. Food was a 4/10. First of all, OVERPRICED. 19 for brussel sprouts, I think 60 for salmon, and 40 for a double shot of casamigos. For a table of 12 our bill came to about 1800. And it's nothing to write home about. Our server Casio was nice and patient dealing with such a large group. He ended up cutting up the cake and placing it in to go boxes for everyone. Gratuity is auto 20%. The owner is a little rude. I remember him rushing me out of a room I was told I could look into when I was checking out a place for my dad's birthday dinner last summer. Will not return or recommend.

This was my first time dining here but it definitely won't be the last. I was immediately in love with the ambience of the restaurant, sort of this green and sexy & dim vibe. The restaurant itself was well-kept and cozy. The food was well prepared and tastes really good. The staff were all very polite, but there is one staff in particular that stood out and that is "Will". Will was very polite, attentive, quick and easy to converse with. He made sure we had everything we needed.

Jonathan served us today he was very knowledgeable and very attentive. The owner came over to greet us, which was a great pleasure. The table was set beautiful fresh flowers, and wonderful lighting on the table. We started our meal with calamari. My husband had a Caesar salad, and I had a wedge salad with the balsamic dressing. Our main course seabass with asparagus and risotto for my husband and for me I had salmon, rice pilaf and asparagus we both had a glass of Pinot noir to drink. Then we went on the balcony which was exquisite, the scenery was breathtaking, my husband had the key lime pie and I had the raspberry sorbet. We both shared delicious chocolate that were handmade! The meal, the atmosphere, the service I give it a 10 out of 10! Linda & Santiago

I recently came here for a work function. When we entered, the hostess smiled and escorted us to the private dining area. As we walked to the dining room, I was captivated by the restaurant's decor and overall ambiance. I had really hoped that we would have a water view, but that did not happen. Nevertheless, the private dining room was attractive. There was a dual-sided fireplace in the dining area, which added to this dining experience. The lighting was dimmed, which made the space seem more relaxing. The music playlist was awesome. Since it was a special event, the menu was prix fixe, but I did not know that ahead of time. For this reason, the entree that I originally considered after reviewing the online menu had to be changed. The three-course, prix fixe menu was pretty good though. There were three appetizer options, from which I chose the Shrimp Spring Rolls. The spring rolls were good, as was the accompanying Asian Tso sauce. There was a consensus from those with whom I spoke at the event that the Shrimp Spring Rolls were a winner. For my entree, I wavered between the salmon and the pasta dish, ultimately choosing the Vegetarian Agnolotti Pasta. The pasta was essentially ravioli without sauce. I honestly did not taste the flavors, but the dish was not bad. The pasta aside, the entrees on this menu came with three side dishes. I wanted to try the Brussels sprouts only, so they agreed to add it to my order. However, when the meal arrived, they provided not only the Brussels sprouts, but also the Garlic Herb Mashed Potatoes and Roasted Rainbow Baby Carrots. All of the sides were good, I especially enjoyed the Brussels sprouts. I took the other two items home in a to-go container. I also ordered a Ginger-Pear mocktail that was really flavorful and definitely worth ordering again. The meal concluded with a dessert trio that included a sample of a Key Lime Parfait, a Chocolate Macadamia Square and a beignet with whipped cream, chocolate sauce and blackberries. The Key Lime Parfait was creamy with a refreshing lime flavor. The Chocolate Macadamia Square was also amazing in all aspects. The Beignet or donut that was not listed on the menu, but was part of the trio was just okay for me. Overall, the restaurant is beautiful. The staff were really great. Josh was a very attentive waiter, who was both knowledgeable about the menu and humorous as well. I would have to say that this restaurant understands customer service delivery. I enjoyed the ambiance, service and food enough to return at a later time.

I have always wanted to dine here, but I just could not find the time. But last Sunday, I attended #thestylesbrunch hosted by Atarah Styles, which was catered to all. I was part of the VIP group, who got to partake in the pre-festivities. We were served French Toast bites, macaroni and cheese on a spoon, and crab hors d'oeuvre, which was very tasty. And we were given a mimosa. Once we were greeted, our hostess, we were then allowed into the main dining area. We had bacon, shrimp and grits, eggs, tater tots, chicken and a sugar waffle, along with mixed fruit. To close out, we were served a variety of some good sweets.

Key lime pie and cream brulee

Bottom line up front: great food, great service, worth the price! Food: Brussel sprouts as the starter, ribeye (medium) w/ broccolini & potatoes, lamb shank w/ cauliflower hash- every item was 10/10. The shank was tender, flavorful, and enough to make you full. My hubby loved the ribeye and it re-heated well the next day. Honorable mentions: Dessert: key lime pie (10/10) and creme brûlée (9/10). The key lime pie is a great balance or sweet and tart. The creme brûlée was more dense than others I have had. Mocktail and non-alcoholic beer: excellent flavors. If you would like something that is not listed, ask and they will likely be able to create it. They have a good mixologist. Service: Our server, Rich, was fantastic. He provided great recommendations and was friendly. The owner greeted us as well and took our pics by one of the lovely Christmas trees. The restaurant was not crowded and we lingered enjoying the ambience and soul music. I heard Sade! The music selection was fantastic. Parking: free and ample near the restaurant

Although the Jewish people will scram when they see you.

I'ma give it a two because I've been here twice. But that swordfish was the driest thing I've ever tasted. If you can't make a traditional whiskey sour just say that. Don't sell me a dream like I don't know what I'm looking at. When a day when I'm trying to be nice. The ambience is fire.

My first time in couple years. Visiting this restaurant again. And the food is amazing. Service fast and attentive. Ambiance- relaxed , and 5 star. Feel free to dress up and shine the night away. Charles the owner is super welcoming. And friendly They have regular dishes and some Japanese sushi/sashimi options. Absolutely delicious Try the muscles. The best i ever had. Crab cakes were amazing. Not too much filler. Very well seasoned and makes you want more. The menu very well curated to almost anyone's taste Parking easy but no valet anymore.

For larger parties, do they offer separate cheques?

They prefer to give 1 check however, they did break it down to 4 ppl per check for my party of 24. Be sure to inquire about a large party fee.

As most people coming here, already know about it and also there isn't many other places to eat nearby. That and because they have night with deals ($10 meat burger night ...). Big menu ... so, as usual when there is a such a large variety on the menu (seafood, salad, burgers, BBQ etc...) nothing it going to really stand out and the safest choice is burgers and fried food (hard to mess up). I got a house salad, that was sort of meh, i.e. fine but no great shakes with too many raw onions & olives. The Beyond Burger was well done and they have relish, which is a plus (many places don't have that condiment). The regular burger was good (so I was told). My son had the chicken parm, and the pasta was chewy and underdone. They have trivia night, which looks like fun There is a 3% charge to all orders if you are paying by credit card The decor is fun and there are baseball cards in the front lobby and the men's bathroom. I hope there is security watching these cards as some of them looked expensive. It was cool to see Eddie Murray baseball cards.

My husband and I visited Jilly's Bar & Grill in Pikesville on February 27, 2026. This was our second visit. We ordered several items, including stuffed shrimp, a Greek salad, and wings. There was an issue with the stuffed shrimp. The only stuffed shrimp listed on the menu is tempura stuffed shrimp, yet we were served broiled stuffed shrimp. When I calmly brought this to our server's attention, she acknowledged it was a mistake and suggested placing a new order, even though the kitchen was already closed. I did not ask for the food to be remade and only intended to point out the inconsistency. Shortly after, a woman who had been seated nearby approached me and asked about my order. She later identified herself as Chrissy, the General Manager. During the conversation, she stated, "We always try to correct customers." I explained that I believed the issue was with the menu, not the customer. I felt the interaction was handled in a way that was dismissive and uncomfortable, especially as it took place in front of others. The food quality also did not meet my expectations. The $16 Greek salad appeared to have lettuce and olives that were not fresh to me, and the wings were dry. We left most of the food uneaten. Despite this experience, we paid our bill in full and tipped 22%, bringing our total to $160.51. I also want to share how the situation felt from my perspective. My husband and I were the only young Black couple seated among a group that appeared to include staff or management. The tone of the interaction left me feeling dismissed and disrespected. That is my personal experience. After our visit, I sent a detailed email on March 2, 2026, and a follow-up on March 9, 2026. I did not receive any response or acknowledgment. I believe most businesses deserve the opportunity to address concerns directly, which is why I reached out first. The lack of response ultimately led me to leave this review. I have not returned since and hope ownership reviews both the service experience and management approach at this location.

The experience has definitely changed over the years a long with the renovations that have taken place. Our most recent visit was this past Sunday 3/22/26. Our expectation was to get a few drinks and get something to eat. We arrived to realize the space has been renovated yet again moving the main bar in the middle of the main floor. The tables had red signs indicating what table numbers they are which gave us the impression that a server would be over to take our order. NOPE! We sat there for about 30 mins before approaching the bar closest to the bathroom to ask if someone would be taking our order and ran into the owner who seemed to have an attitude. He said everyone was busy and that we would have to place our order at the bar. We stood there trying to process the fact that there was no servers for an advertised day party. This was an immediate turn off and I wanted to leave and go somewhere else at this point but we were so hungry so we decided to stay. We placed an order for our food and drinks and paid the bill which of course included gratuity. The bartender made our drinks which were only prepared 3/4 full so we didn't even get a decent drink. I wrote our table numbers on the receipt as we were never asked for that information. The food came out about 15-20 mins later. We all got the catfish. I got two sides, yams with collard greens but I got green beans instead. I didn't even bother saying anything given the lack of care and service we had already experienced. The catfish and the yams were good but the green beans were a bit on the salty side. While DJ Biskit was on point as alway, I have no plans on returning to this place anytime soon. I was very disappointed with this experience.

When I walked in, the only seat available was on the corner and it was oddly placed and there isn't any counterspace for whomever sits there. The hostess offered me a two-seater table next to the DJ booth, so I sat down. I looked over their happy hour menu and decided upon a margarita because that is what I decided to go with prior to arriving since their spirit menu was lacking in variety of real tequilas. I walked over to the bar to look at what they offered and didn't see much either. The hostess is extremely extra and started calling me baby from our initial interaction . . . . ummmmm . . . . is this not a place of business, I wondered. It triggered me and reminded me of being asked, "You want hot sauce and ketchup on your french fries baby?" from the corner store lady when I was little. It's no now and was no then. I'm guessing some people find this as being extra friendly when talking to black people but I find it unprofessional and belittling. It took a minute before she came back to take my actual order and meanwhile, I noticed a lady that was behind the bar earlier, now walking around. I tried to speak to her multiple times but she ignored me. I wanted to ask how the blueberry syrup for the margarita was made since sir was behind the bar earlier. When my server/hostess finally returned, I asked her if she knew and she quickly responded by telling me how the margarita itself was made instead of how they made the actual blueberry syrup. I wanted to make sure there wasn't any artificial blue dye. I went ahead and ordered the margarita and it was ok. The lady who I saw walking around brought me a glass of water after I ordered my drink I said hello to her as she placed it down and told her thank you and she didn't even acknowledge me or say anything back. Very awkward. The young lady who was serving me seemed to be the only server for the entire restaurant. Because of this it took so long before she even came back to check on me. I wanted to order food but kept trying to get her attention that she was busy with other guests. As I sat there there were more people who came in and walked out when there was nowhere to sit at the bar and some chose to be seated at tables. I tried to order food at the restaurant next door by calling but was informed they were not the same and I would have to order from IQ. I needed to leave so when I got up to take a phone call and walk out, I came back in and my server was there waiting for me. I asked how long it would take for me if I ordered food and was she informed me 20 minutes I said no thank you and Jess to close me out and bring me the check. She run me up on the tablet and only showed me the price. I gave her my payment and ask for the receipt when I noticed that it asked me to give additional gratuity for single digit percentages. Knowing that only occurs when an automatic gratuity is added on to your bill, I asked to see the receipt. She wasn't able to show me the receipt because she already charged my payment. I asked if gratuity was already included and she said it was a service fee. And then asked how much was it and informed her I wanted to see what I was charged so she pulled it up on another device to show me how much the service fee was. Why did I have to ask and why was this not told to me ahead of time? I'm so over restaurants charging automatic gratuity or service fee, giving you crappy service, and then hiding the fact is already included. Don't show me how much I owe, show me everything that I purchased so I can make sure I was charged correctly. Now this was easy because I only ordered one drink. Also, it was not written on the menu that gratuity was automatically added either. Part of me is so over it.
