The night my family went, you could tell it was short staffed. That being said, everyone was very efficient and on top of things. I felt bad they were so short staffed but they made it work. We were surprised how barren the restaurant was at 8:30PM on a Saturday night. Noise level wasn't an issue at all. My brother had been here prior and recommended this place. Nicely decorated and comfortable seating at bar. Super friendly bartender!! Like 10 star. Very attentive and very welcoming. Always checking in to make sure all is good. Ordered a margarita that was tasty. Also ordered a capri martini (think lemon) that was subpar. Manhattan was ordered and was very good. Lots of drink options and lots of beet on tap. Second time here and it didn't disappoint! This was my second visit, and I recommended this spot to my friends for a birthday celebration. We had a reservation at 7:30 and was seated immediately We ordered shareables -- the Bangin' River Shrimp was such a hit we had to order again. The White Wine Garlic Mussels were perfectly seasoned -- we asked for spoon - it was that good Wow -- the Stuffed Salmon was amazing! The lemon dill cream cheese and buttered panko added great flavor and texture without overpowering the salmon. The citrus couscous salad was bright and refreshing, and it paired beautifully with the grilled asparagus. The Pot Roast Wellington was incredibly tender and perfectly cooked! I wish I could say more, but I only managed a small bite--it disappeared way too fast! The Crisfield Pasta was deliciously creamy without being soupy, and the grilled chicken was cooked just right with perfectly sized portions. We actually finished every single dish -- no takeout boxes needed! And that says a lot, because our reservation was for 7:30 and most of us had already eaten a little before coming. So one of the ladies from the gym recommended this place to me and I'm glad I took her advice. I went the morning of 2/14 and it wasn't too busy. It's super cute inside and the staff is very friendly! I'm not sure if the raspberry pancakes are only on special but they need to be kept 1000000/10 home fries 9/10 turkey sausage 10/10 the crab balls 8/10 the Cajun pasta 4/10...just needs a little more flavor. I had reservations for lunch and was seated promptly. Hostess and waitstaff were very nice and attentive. The food was good. Seasoned well. Something I wasn't expecting. Usually grilled salmon isn't seasoned much but this one almost had too much. The fries were great. The Sante Fe salad was a hit. Not to big, not too small. Will order again. I was invited to come here with some friends for Galentines Day brunch. It is a nice little spot, with parking and a restaurant side and a bar side. The staff is all lovely and inviting. The bathrooms are very clean. Their bunch fixed menu was really good! They had French toast with ice cream, eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins and fruit. Bottomless mimosas, crushes, and bloody Mary's. The bartender for this event was working her butt off and did a fabulous job. You did everything and kept it moving. At the end two people got to win a basket of wine which was nice. It was not crowded and not too loud either. From 11-3pm was a good time frame for this event. However, after attempting twice to coordinate a staggered group of 18-20 people for a Sunday afternoon around 4-4:30pm, we were surprised by the lack of flexibility or discussion from management. Each time, staff had to "check with the manager," and the response was simply that they couldn't accommodate us. No alternatives were offered, nor was there any attempt to discuss possible solutions. Given the off-peak timing and the potential for consistent weekly business following our local pickleball games, we were surprised there wasn't more interest in exploring options. We understand that larger groups require planning, but the absence of any effort to engage in a conversation made it feel less like a scheduling conflict and more like a lack of willingness to accommodate. Almost a touch too crisp and sharp ... could feel a little homier but I can't knock a place for being clean and bright, so let's move on. Great service. Our server clearly had experience and knew her drinks and the menu. She knew what to ask and was around when you wanted her. Props. The food had promise. Good menu variety. Wish the crab dip was more lump than sauce, couscous was cold on a warm plate, spinach side was prepared great just was sparse. That being said, the salmon, itself, was very well prepared. I've never been here but called to make a reservation for a larger group. I was told that the owner won't let larger parties over 9 dine in his restaurant. I've never heard of a restaurant turning down a group especially all adults who will in fact order alcohol and food. This has made me want to take my money elsewhere. So crazy! read more

Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday on a Wednesday evening. The ambiance is nice - it gave classy vibes. I got French onion soup and a Cesar salad with salmon. The French onion soup was so good! Nice and rich, and very well seasoned. The Cesar salad had a little too much dressing for my taste (it came already dressed). Been looking forward to trying out this new place since before it opened! Super close to us and in a great spot. Finally got to try tonight. I made a reservation online and we were seated right away. We ordered drinks- mad elf and the Riesling. Wasn't a fan of the wine but that's my bad. For our appetizer, we had the flatbread, which was so good. The presentation was great, it was so pretty. For the entree, we ordered the salmon and steak frites with crab cake. The steak came with truffle fries and we got sweet potato fries as the side for the fish. Didn't come with condiments, but we also didn't ask. Salmon was great and very unique with the addition of cream cheese inside. Couscous was really good as well. Crab cake was well made. Steak tasted like every other steak, nothing special, but also not bad. Truffle fries had a lot of seasoning and were very oily, but I still enjoyed them. Sweet potato fries would have been better with ketchup or if they were more sweet, but that's okay! Overall it was a great experience and worth the wait. No idea if they offer dessert, we were too full to find out and we weren't offered a dessert menu, so I assume they don't. Will definitely come back here. read more

Hear about this place from someone at a different restaurant so it made sense to check it out. I was pleasantly greeted right away which was nice and was shown to our seats immediately. Ordered an Old Fashioned as it seemed to be a great first cocktail from a place I have not been yet. It was an okay cocktail, nothing special. It had good strength but didn't have much that tasted fresh. If they invest in a cocktail ice cube tray it will go a long way to keeping the drinks from becoming watered down. Started with the crab dip which was okay, seemed like a shredded claw meat mixed with mayo and cheese. Didn't have the flavor that would tell you it was made from scratch with care. Also the bread toasted slices were small for this type of dip and were not toasted much... My entree was smash burger with fries. Looked good... Again, nothing special on the burger, it was okay. The bun wasn't toasted and probably should have been. It also was a little stale and was breaking apart. The beef was good but didn't look very smashed. The fries were a little undercooked and were not very crispy. Some may like that but I prefer the potato inside to be softer and more cooked. Service was great!! Very attentive and was very efficient and helpful. Ultimately this may be because it's a new place. I think they may settle down and be a decent spot for a bite but I wouldn't expect an elevated food experience from what I saw. Maybe time will tell... read more

My wife and I went here for lunch, we've been wanting to try it since it's new and local. They were shutting down early for a work event, so we couldn't stay and order too much. But what we did get was delicious. I'm a nacho kind of guy, and know I'm at a grill, but wanted to give them a shot. I ordered the nacho appetizer and added chicken to it. Overall the taste was great, but a few critiques for it. Pros: - Tasted Great - Fresh - Portion Amount Cons: - The Bowl.... Made it difficult to start eating since stuff was falling off everywhere. Definitely would recommend using a bigger/wider dish for this. I know this seems trivial, but since it slowed down how fast I could eat it the cheese sauce sat at the bottom and made a lot of the crispy chips soggy. With everything kept in a small space it also made the chicken get lost, which some might think there was barely any. [Note: It came with a side of sour cream that I did use, but it does come with it.] Wife got the Seafood Caesar Salad -- she really liked it. Crab and shrimp were fresh, and she complimented how well cooked the shrimp were. She mentioned it was dressed perfectly. I had a bite and thought it was good, although I never imagined crab and shrimp on a caesar salad. One suggestion she had that I agree with: A dusting of old bay. Not a lot, just a mere dusting to give it a little bit of that seafood kick to really hit home.
