When the Seating outside was ready, I was seated quickly and Megan was my server. I don't eat much with my gastric sleeve, so I ordered the kids cheeseburger. It came out super quick. It was hot. Juicy had the best flavor to it man, it was the best burger I probably had in a long time. The bill came out and there was a three dollar surcharge for an adult ordering off the kids menu now I get it people trying to be cheap people want just a little bite I get it but when I had ordered the kids burger if Megan would've said, there's an up charge, I would've been explained. I've had gastric surgery. She could've looked to see if they could've waived the surcharge. A larger melt would have tasted heavenly. I added lettuce and tomato to my sandwich, but my container only had one slice for my two halves and it was the end piece of the tomato (intact). It was quite large, but again, in a container, very soft by the time I ate it. The seafood chowder was good, one of the better chowders I have eaten in MD. My brother said he likes it because it's unpretentious and the regulars who frequent the bar are usually locals. He said it's always a good time as the people are cool and the drinks are fantastic. We actually stopped in for a midday cocktail on a Sunday afternoon. There were a few people there but not too many due to the time of day. We sat at the bar and an older gentleman took our order. My brother knew him so they chit chatted for awhile about the comings and goings of other locals. The bar is no frills for sure but I still found it warm and inviting. It had a certain charm to it that I can't really put my finger on. There are pool tables in the rear the bar and an electronic juke box. We played a couple rounds of pool while jamming to some tunes which was a lot of fun. I can't recall the name of the drinks I ordered but they were really good. They were fruity cocktails that the older gentleman mixed. He didn't skip on the alcohol either. We ordered 5 drinks total and the bill was just under $30. My brother told me that some people in the neighborhood look down on Brannan's because it's a dive bar but I had a great time. I didn't find anything wrong with it whatsoever. All the other patrons were really nice as was the bartender. The atmosphere was cozy and chill. I'd definitely visit again during a future trip.

The beer selection was varied and included some local options. They also have a wide selection of beer on tap and in bottles and cans. I was not expecting that. The food menu was also much larger than I would have expected. They have just about everything here.
