My first visit to The Manor Tavern did not disappoint. I made a reservation online and noted we would be celebrating our anniversary. Our server, Shannon C., immediately welcomed us with two glasses of complimentary champagne and a cupcake. A perfect start! We shared a bottle of Pinot Grigio for 1/2 price wine Wednesday and enjoyed the hot crab dip appetizer. The Grouper entree and Short Ribs entree were both phenomenal and made for leftovers to enjoy the next day. The seasonal peach cheesecake was different AND delicious. The Manor Tavern is located in county in a beautiful area, has a hunt club style of decor, and an ambiance that can't be matched. Exceptional attention and service by Shannon. She made our anniversary super SWEET!

Country setting with character and space. Indoor and outdoor seating. Kids welcome. No dress code. This place has a unique atmosphere making it worth the trip. Food was good, but nothing special. Brussel sprouts lacked seasoning. Meat was on the plate. Service was good, without much interest beyond getting the food to you. It was timely.

Theresa is super helpful and informative about the foods. What she doesn't know, she admits but asks to get the answers for us, which was very great!! Okay, getting there from the coast was such a treat! The drive was easy and beautiful! And then, their extra parking lot is so serene and a great spot to just hang out and listen to natural sounds! The outdoor patio is lovely and great for warmer weather. And the inside rooms are lavish, luxurious, and very, very comfortable! I mean, warm and sweet with chattering sounds of comfortable conversation and great scents of yummy food! My partner and I got the meal sets. His corn chowder was gentle and may have had shellfish in it. The French onion soup is divine and wonderfully textured with stewed onions! Wow! And my mushroom entree was such a delight and overwhelmingly delicious! To taste the umami of mushroom so thick and deliciously with cream on bread was new to me! And the ham was just so juicy, especially with the pineapple marmalade that added that sweetness to balance the saltiness of the ham. What a well thought out dish!! Such sublime flavors and textures! That cinnamon ice cream goes WELL super well with the bread pudding. Even without, each desert is unforgettable and so enticing! Perfect meal with amazing memories and inspiration behind each bite. It's so well though out and I loved it!!

I was here for an outdoor event. It was sponsored by eatdrinkrelax. Everything was great! This was an Oyster fest but it actually involved a little bit of everything. Including a pig roast. They had a variety of vendors and entertainment. Tons of outdoor seating available. Everything was held outside. The lines were pretty long but that could be expected. Especially since this was the first outdoor event held for 2021. It felt so good getting out and feeling like we are trying to get back to some normalcy. We bought our own chairs and found a spot to enjoy the scenery and the event. I did get a chance to make some soap purchases from one of the vendors. I can't comment on the inside but I can say that this location has plenty of parking available. Overall 3.5 stars.

My family recently moved very close to the Manor Tavern and have been frequenting it quite often because of that. The good and the atmosphere are amazing. We usually sit at a booth in the bar area because it is the perfect amount of classy and casual. Can dress up or down. For my dinner I got a Crabcake Grilled Cheese, that bad bacon and tomato's in it. This was up there for one of the best ways to eat a crabcake I have ever tasted (being from MD that really is saying something). My dad got the short rib and it was served over Mac and cheese with asparagus as well. For our appetizers we got the buratta ensalada and truffle fries. Buratta is one of my favorite things to get as an appetizer. With this balsamic dressing it was outstanding. How good do those fries look??? I bet they tasted even better.

One of my favorite local restaurants! It has a great menu, and they always have a special seasonal menu. I had some great appetizers, tuna tartare and crab bruschetta! Both were phenomenal. The bar waitress is friendly and does a great job. This place is a gem!

We loved every single thing. The bangers and mash might have been our favorite, it was super flavorful, and they even included some mustard to go along with it. My husband ate most of it. We were impressed with the portion sizes as well. The fish and chips were delicious. The fish was super flakey and not dry. Even the crawfish etouffee was super tasty. Were already talking about getting over there to eat in person. This will definitely be our go to Irish pub.

When we arrived back at our hotel bar they were about to close and suggested we check out this place. We followed there advice and were so glad we did. Upon entry they appeared to be closng down and said they go with the number of patrons to determine their closing time. This worked out greatly as once we arrived and only two other patrons were at the bar a swarm soon followed. Our favorite bartender is Laura. I noticed a huge difference in her making my drink and the other bartenders who only ask for your order but give no suggestions, do not offer to allow you to sample something on tap, and the potency. I soon realized that I will only recommend this place to others if Laura is the bartender. There were times we wanted to try something new, she asked a few questions and handcrafted us the perfect drink. Her personality was amazing, drinks were strong, and she kept people wanting to drink and be apart of the banter. If Laura isn't there I am not going. We went two nights in a row and the second night we were there we brought with us a couple we met who were in Bmore from Cleveland for a cruise. They enjoyed the place but it was missing her personality, patrons, and the drinks weren't as handcrafted, special or potent. now for the food. This is by far a pub with the best food I have ever tasted. I ordered the fish and chips that was an amazing fleshy piece of cob hand breaded and a jambalaya that too this day I am still dreaming about with its chunks of chicken breast, sauteed small pieces of sausage and gravy like texture filled with flavor that was bold and packed a welcomed punch. My partner had some type of irish sausage dish and loved it. We will return to visit Laura this spring for our next rendevous here for sure.

We had reservations, but they were so busy that we did not get acknowledged for a bit ..in fact we felt a bit like we were in the way in the long hallway with servers flying by. When we were taken to our table, we found out from our server that they were understaffed. Took a while for our drinks, apps, entrees to come, but again we've never seen the Pub this busy. Unfortunately there were several things they were out of, but we made do. I'm not sure if there is a different chef, but the steak almost seemed boiled - it was tender but just not like I remembered. I wish I had written a review previously for comparison as it would've been fantastic. I would like to return again and suspect the experience would be back to the norm... PS - as a pub where you would just want to sit in the bar area & enjoy some beverages among the crowd ..I'm sure it wasn't a bad night!

The pub is in the basement of the Federal Pointe Inn hotel, which was historically a schoolhouse. There are cool old class pictures of the former students all around the pub. (When I was there, someone was visiting whose father had actually been a student and she had fun looking for him in all of the old pictures.) The layout is long and narrow, which gives four options for seating: the bustling bar scene, a more formal dining room with around 10 tables, a private dining room with a single long dining table... ...and an anti-social hallway with bar service and a few tables, perfect for when you've had a long day on the road and don't particularly want to socialize with anyone but still want to know that other people are alive. I loved it... I had a chicken caesar wrap (minus bacon - didn't need it) which was delicious, along with the best grilled asparagus I've ever eaten, and a glass of wine to sip while unwinding. The service from the bartender was friendly and attentive, but unhurried. And he didn't make me feel guilty for not hanging out with everyone else at the bar. I would gladly return. It's the kind of place I could see myself becoming a low-key regular.

My brother said he likes it because it's unpretentious and the regulars who frequent the bar are usually locals. He said it's always a good time as the people are cool and the drinks are fantastic. We actually stopped in for a midday cocktail on a Sunday afternoon. There were a few people there but not too many due to the time of day. We sat at the bar and an older gentleman took our order. My brother knew him so they chit chatted for awhile about the comings and goings of other locals. The bar is no frills for sure but I still found it warm and inviting. It had a certain charm to it that I can't really put my finger on. There are pool tables in the rear the bar and an electronic juke box. We played a couple rounds of pool while jamming to some tunes which was a lot of fun. I can't recall the name of the drinks I ordered but they were really good. They were fruity cocktails that the older gentleman mixed. He didn't skip on the alcohol either. We ordered 5 drinks total and the bill was just under $30. My brother told me that some people in the neighborhood look down on Brannan's because it's a dive bar but I had a great time. I didn't find anything wrong with it whatsoever. All the other patrons were really nice as was the bartender. The atmosphere was cozy and chill. I'd definitely visit again during a future trip.
