We ventured over to Hunt Valley to try this brewery. It's easy to park here in their lot and the brewery is large with some bar seating and lots of tables. You can choose to get a beer card and pour your own beers, or order at the bar. They have food options of pizza, tacos, chicken wings, sandwiches, and more. We tried a pizza which was tasty with a nice fluffy crust and good sauce and cheese. The beers are really good with multiple styles to choose from. Service is also great. We were able to listen to a good band while here and there seem to be a lot of different events they host. Overall, it's a great brewery with a chill vibe and I'll definitely be back! read more

I've been a few times before and enjoyed each time. I like the concept of putting in the card and knowing how much you will pay based on your pour. It's quick and easy. I saw that the Gluten Free expo was being held here, so we made the drive and headed out there. The weather wasn't greatly, but there were still plenty of vendors. There was a table set up with beer samples that are also gluten free, which was great. When we walked in, it was pretty packed, but I loved that there is a separate area for adults. We ordered at the bar and grabbed a table and listened to the live band, which was entertaining. It was pretty spacious inside with a lot of seating options and they even had a section for private events/parties. Everyone that worked there seemed really nice and helpful. They even have a self serve area for beer. They give you a card when you open a tab and you use the card when using the self pour option. Pretty cool! We also ordered food. Gotta love breweries that offer food! We got the cauliflower pizza, chicken nachos, Mexican corn and honey old bay wings, which were all gluten free! The beer here is good and they let you pour as you go which is fun. A nice warehouse setting in Baltimore county that is 8 min driving from the NCR trail. You can ride, walk, run...then get a beer. We haven't been here in a while and decided to stop by a few weeks ago. Vibes are really good. I appreciate there being a designated kid friendly area, especially with the chalk board! Our 2yo went to town and we got to enjoy from drinks. I love the concept here bc I have a tough time deciding on a beer, and the beer wall allows me to try a little of everything I want. I do think the pours are a bit pricey, but that doesn't bother me much. When we were there we decided to come back on a Tuesday for Taco Tuesday (3 tacos for $12), which we did last night. I gotta say, those were probably the worst tacos I've ever had. I had a tofu, chicken, and a pork taco. The chicken was supposed to be jerk, it had absolutely no flavor and I honestly couldn't distinguish much of a taste difference between that one or the pork. Both were bland and nothing jerk should be close to bland. My husband ordered flour tortillas and I ordered corn, they were the exact same and both fell apart while eating them. I added lime crema to mine, I believe it was just sour cream? They were bad, especially for $4 each ($5 on the normal menu pricing). We also ordered the pico ($6), we got a huge container of chips and the smallest cup of pico. It wasn't even enough to eat half the chips with. We really did enjoy the beer. We've always loved coming to this location after work for a quick drink with friends or on the weekend for some darts. If you've never been here before, they don't have a stereotypical kitchen on site for food but they do have a food truck/trailer which is all delicious finger food. They have several walls with over 24 different selections of beer. You walk in, open a tab, get a FOB card, pick out your beverage, and pour to your hearts content. You can place a food order through the app at your table or at the counter. It's honestly pretty rare that we've come in contact with anyone for service except for opening the tab and closing out but when we have spoken to anyone who works there, they've been fun and welcoming. We've also come in contact with the brew cat! Super cute! My husband and I have been off and on after work on a Friday for an hour to wind down and begin the weekend. I am not usually out in this part of town but a friend was vending at a pop up they had so I figured why not. Parking is plentiful and the space is huge! Though I can't imagine the echo when there is a band but there was no band the day we went so just general people noise. I do like how it's set up where you get a brewery card and pour on your own. The multiple pour stations help with there not being back up. I do wish they would let you drop the card at the end without the auto gratuity. I don't mind tipping 20% but I feel weird when I'm told I'll be "penalized" it for not wanting to wait in line on my way out. Ordering food was also simple but it took far too long for the food to come out. After awhile they announced that the kitchen was behind but they didn't seem to be prepared for the crowds of the day. Beer wise there were a lot of things I didn't want to try. I'm a lager, ale, Heffiweisen and sometime Pilsner girl so usually I have a ton of options and yet somehow I was limited. Came here for a date on a rainy day. The brewery was a lot bigger than I expected it to be! They had darts, cornhole, a stage area with a live band, 24 beers on tap, and lots of seating space. We sat down at a high top table and got some beers at the self serve taps. I really enjoyed all the beers that I got. There was a live band while we were there, but I will say it got a little too loud at some points during the performance and I didn't think they were that good. I was a disappointed in the food we had ordered though. I've heard the pizzas are good, but unfortunately they didn't have them available when we came. We decided to get the big pretzel and brisket cheesesteak to share. The pretzel was good, but the brisket cheesesteak was not good at all. It didn't look nor taste like there was any cheese on it, and they also must have forgotten to put the sauce on it. The brisket was dry and definitely over cooked. Overall this is a good hang out spot and place to get some beers. I'm sure I'll be back and will give the food another chance. read more

We are rarely in this neck of the woods but we def have a reason to come up this way now! It's buried deep in a business park but the cars filling lot are a sure indication of a hot spot. Over all the was food was a 2/5 and the atmosphere/beer was a 4/5. To start I definitely think what you order for food and when you order makes a big impact on how things are prepared and taste. A group of five of us arrived on a Saturday at 7:30 pm. It was quite packed but were were able to find a place to sit. The band playing, Luvable Idiots, were great and really made our time fun. There were people playing cards and dogs with them and plenty of kids on their parents iPads just chilling. Packed or not this places atmosphere is very barnyard home like and would highly recommend sitting and sipping on a couple of beers. I refilled 1/4 of the way on my beer about 3 times and it cost $5.30. Everything I got drink wise was enjoyable but my friend made the mistake of pulling a beer that tasted much like hot dog water so just be cautious (and curios) before pouring yourself a tall glass of whatever they have on tap. In terms of food we went here on an empty day and had pretty yummy fries and nachos, but this time around the cheese was cold and lacked meat. I was unimpressed of my brisket fries and the $5 dollars extra I paid for the brisket...the meat was good but I really couldn't find much meat...not worth the 15 dollars in my opinion; maybe you will have better ratios of cheese to meat when it's less packed. My friend ordered brisket nachos and they forgot the brisket but we politely asked for some on the side and got a heaping amount. The meat was a little dry but shortly after they ran out so I wonder if it was from the bottom of the container.... Also beware they text you when your meal is ready and if your phone doesn't get those kind of texts then make sure you go up and check for your food. We made the mistake the first time and we're waiting for a text but accidentally didn't have a certain text option enabled so our food was a little cold. That time it was on us lol. Back to food, the wings and Brussel sprouts pizza was delicious. The pizza was a little over priced ($17 for a personal) and under salted but was yummy. Highly recommend going the pizza, burger or wings route. I haven't tried their tacos but after looking at them they seemed to have a lot of lettuce...so order at your own risk. Overall a great spot for the area. Again I think when you go and what you order, the food might be underwhelming or cold. First review of 2020, woo! Tonight was my second time at BC Brewery. The first time was for my fiancé's bday, but unfortunately I was getting over a stomach bug. I was able to enjoy the atmosphere but my stomach was not ready for eating or drinking! So naturally tonight I was really excited to actually partake. I love their food-- it's like elevated bar food. All the normal comforting junk food (I mean that lovingly) like fries, nachos, wings, etc. but with really great toppings and quality. My ONE qualm is I was so excited to try the Mak bombs (mac and cheese croquettes) and they were out. I'm the kind of person that likes to look at a menu before I go to a place and immediately zeroed in on those so it was really disappointing they didn't have them! We had never been to BC brewery so there were zero expectations. We pulled up and there was an outdoor eating area. It was a beautiful day. We didn't know if our event was indoor or outdoors but if it was an outdoor event, the weather was PERFECT. It was indoors... ah well. It's not a sexy place BUT what it lacks in appearance, it more than makes up in ambiance because YOU CAN BRING YOUR DOG(S)!!! That said, I was in love! Before I go any further, know that I will be back. The hubs and I had Beyond Burgers eventually. I had "You had me at Merlot" which is a beer/wine hybrid. AMAZING!!! Went here on a Tuesday night to meet up with some friends and possible do trivia. We didn't end up doing trivia, but they had a decent crowd for it. Biggest perk is that its extremely dog friendly, since they are allowed inside and out. The place was also pretty big so people could space out and there is a covered outdoor patio section which is great during COVID. The fun here is with the pay by the ounce, self-serve beer wall. This is a great concept and it was fun to try out. They have a large selection of beers, ciders, a seltzer, and even gluten free options. There was a strong focus on IPAs and sours when we were there. With the many options, we were kind of disappointed that there were a lot of misses for us. I will say that the Happy Life was a decent, standard Schwarzbier and the SlowPoke Rodriguez was an easy drinking lager, so I could see getting those again. Interstate Daydream was by far the best tasting sour that we tried, and I say that not really being a sour fan. The Raspberry Flamingo is listed as a sour, but there didn't really seem to be any sour to it. Grandma's Apple Pie, which is a cider, tasted somewhere between a cider and an apple pie liqueur, but in the end by attempting to do both, we didn't get the most pleasant flavor. Our friends who got there before us also said to definitely not get the Coconut Pineapple Hard Seltzer, so we didn't. As for the food, we ordered the special of chicken and fish tacos traditional style, buffalo wings with fries, and the Oklahoma Burger. The chicken in the tacos was kind of flavorless, which seemed odd because you could see spice on top. Also, they were impossible to eat without the corn tortilla falling apart in your hand and making a mess. I will say the piece of fish did have a nice fry on it. The wings were an improvement and had a good amount of flavor and spice to them. The Oklahoma Burger had good flavor and was quite large, it seemed bigger than the quarter pound listed, almost more like a half. The only problem was that the grease off the burger overwhelmed the bottom bun, which made it uncomfortable to hold and eat. The fries were probably the best food, as they were seasoned well, had a nice crisp, and they still had a soft potato taste on the inside. We also got two of the ice cream sandwiches, which were actually the best part of the meal! We ended up getting a chocolate overload, which was a rich chocolate ice cream with chocolate cake pieces in it, chocolate frosting, and chocolate cookie. Very decadent, maybe a little overwhelming, but quite tasty. We also got the French roast ice cream sandwich, which had a very nice dark roast coffee flavor. You definitely have to like coffee if you get this one. Overall, this is an interesting concept for a brewery, but maybe just not our style of beer. Definitely go for the Nightingale Ice Cream Sandwiches and the fries, and if you're at the nearby park, I'm sure it would be a great stop after. I don't think it would be a place that I would go out of my way to go to however. read more

Located within reach of McCormick in Hunt Valley, BC Brewery has an ideal set up: brewery in the back of the building, a game area with darts and corn hole and the seating area. No table service here: food is ordered at a counter for pick up. If you go for beer, all proprietary, you get a chip card and glass so you can get your own brew priced by the ounce. Beer wise, I settled on their Hunt Valley Blonde while my buddy opted for another BC Brew. Mine was smooth. Food? My friend ordered a gluten-free pizza topped with pepperoni, mushrooms and onions. I haven't fish and chips in like, forever, and ordered some. Armed with malt vinegar and tarter sauce, the fish and chips were great. Three large cod fillets with and abundance of fries (chips) were better than expected. My buddy's pie didn't disappoint, either. When we finally found this place, I felt like I stumbled upon a secret club. It's off the beaten path and in what looks like an industrial park or warehouse. However, the parking lot had a substantial amount of cars considering this looked like the only business open at the time. We went in and were a little confused about the process. Walk up to the counter, place your order and start a tab with a beer card that you swipe to dispense your own beer from the wall. It charges per ounce and the beers vary in price. I opted for the complimentary water! The seating was the best I've seen in the covid climate. Each table is separated by a clear plastic sheet. They text you when your food is ready and you go pick it up from the window. I ordered the black and bleu burger and it was sooooooo good. It didn't even fit in the bun and the sauce and onions on top were perfect. The fries were yummy as well. The best part about this place??? Dogs are allowed to come in!!!! We ended up having to leave earlier than expected and didn't get a chance to order the ice cream sandwiches so we will definitely be back. read more

Second time visiting, I have mixed feelings. I think the concept is great! First: Space-Wise: The brewery gives off an awesome local hangout feeling! Easy free parking, the big open space has so many options. You can sit at a small table for just a conversation hang out or they have lots of games (jenga, corn hole, pong, darts, drawing walls). Even when it's crowded, it doesn't feel congested as they use their space well. Second: Beer: The pay for beer by self pouring is a lot of fun to try out. They have so much variety (ipas, stouts, sours, ales, etc.) There is something for everyone.Though-we haven't found a beer that rates above a 2/5, so it's the appeal of visiting is more a chance to bring a friend who hasn't been to try self-pour, compared to "hey come try this we love the beer." Third: Food: The food truck has a rotating menu and a normal menu- I think the food is hit or miss. Some is just a bit pricey and poorly done and some is worth it to pair with your beer. We had the big pretzel and wings. The Sweet and Spicy wings weren't really worth it. 6 smaller wings for $8. They were all spicy-they burned my mouth with far too much sriracha overload. The meat also tasted overdone, like wings were under a heat lamp and sauce added after. The pretzel was wonderful though; doughy and warm-not too much salt. It's massive for 5$, and if you're hungry go for the stuffed platter pretzel Overall, we will probably end up only going back if we're in the area, it's not a plan to specifically go there place. read more

This used to be a great place for families to go and enjoy good beer and food. It's now no longer family friendly. The "family section" under 14 years old with chalkboard walls, chalk and children activities, has signs posted stating kids must stay in seats at all times. Rude staff cornered a mom when taking a kid to the bathroom. What had happened though is that I ended up staying for nearly two hours, gorged on pizza, and tried some delicious beers! First, the place was impeccably clean! The plastic dividers (fuck you COVID), coupled with how incredibly clean everything was, made it feel like you were in a medical facility... but with great food and beer!
