$10 Margarita Pizza & a $5 pint for happy hour
    Latoya G.

When I heard Diamondback Brewing Company had a $10 margherita pizza special for happy hour, I knew it would be perfect for a Friday night dinner. I really like the open and spacious feel of Diamondback Brewing. With a decent amount of seating, great lighting from the windows, and the smell of pizza dough wafting in the air, it gives you the vibe to come in and stay awhile. Diamondback Brewing offers a good selection specialty pizzas with the option of creating your own pizza as well. And you can't forget to grab a beer to wash down your pizza. Since I'm not a fan of typical beers I opted for a sour beer to go along with my margarita pizza. I popped a squat towards the back of the building where Aveley Coffee does their roasting production. Which I also think would be pretty neat to see during the day when you pop in for coffee, since both Aveley and Diamondback share the same space. My pizza arrived in no time for me to savor and was quite delicious. I personally think the margherita pizza is a great deal and I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu.

This was my first time attending the new location of the Diamond Brewing Company. It is a beautifully designed spacious restaurant - it's partly Aveley Coffee Roasters and partly Diamondback Brewing Company! I learned from the staff that apparently the owners went to high school together, talk about friendship in business! I ordered a Hibiscus Lemonade from Aveley end of the store and sat at the high table, it was calm, quiet, and relaxing. There is plenty of space for people working remotely, organizing a team meeting, or working on school work. The exterior is organized well to have picnic tables and child-friendly play areas. The area is welcoming to dogs, but no dogs allowed in the taproom, which is understandable. The eatery is child-friendly with space to maneuver with strollers and toys. There is a fence in the front of the property so that would prevent kids from running out of the brewery and out on the street. The taproom/coffee Roastery has a very clear children policy, which I think is understandable given that they are trying to achieve a quiet, relaxing and safe environment with alcohol and crowds. I'm glad more spaces are being designed for families in the suburbs, there are not enough of these hip places! I am excited to come back another time, hopefully for Greg's Shitty Trivia on Wednesday's with friends! I want to try their pizza menu and see how it compares to their pizza downtown :3

    Green Machines and Pizza

Green Machines on a hot Baltimore day do not disappoint. Refreshing and cool, just like the ambiance here. Pizzas are fantastic - Sauce Cake Pizza and Vegan Pizza both delicious. Powered by Toast, put in your number to earn rewards for future visits. Great service by Keegan!

    The soppressata pizza is amazing!

What a fabulous find! This place is a must try. It is connected to a comedy club (Magooby's Joke…read moreHouse). There's plenty of parking. If you park on the upper side there are extremely steep steps. Park on the same side as the post office/entrance to the comedy club and there are no steps. There is an outside seating area as well. The inside has moody vibes and says speakeasy but out in the open. The inside isn't large, but comfortable with seating at the bar and several high tops. There are a gazillion bourbons and they even have flights. There's also a fully stocked bar for any drink you want. They have 2 beers on tap and tons of bottle/can options. However, I strongly encourage you to try the cocktails. These are elevated cocktails in the sense that the combination of liquors and mixers really make great pairings. The side car was great. We also tried the Naughty and Nice (perfect blend of spice and sweet), Port of Manhattan (the addition of the port takes this classic to the next level), and the Corpse Reviver #2 which was our absolute surprisingly favorite. The glass is washed with absinthe (see photo). Not only was it super cool to see, but the after taste after each sip was amazing with this addition to the drink. We are not gin drinkers but this was delicious! Venture off of your normal order and explore these incredible crafty and well thought out cocktails that you will thoroughly enjoy and appreciate for the art that they are. The menu was very good as well. The chorizo queso was delicious and the German Sausage Platter was tasty. The portions were good. People around us ordered burgers that were generously portioned with all the fixings. They have lots of specials like burger of the month, Wednesdays are burger night (half price) and the drinks are so reasonably priced! The service was immediate and constant throughout our entire visit. Very friendly and eager to make your experience enjoyable. Seriously, venture out to this place and have some terrific drinks and food. You will want to tell everyone about it! Such a great vibe and atmosphere, as well as a great value!!

That is a very nice seating option; however, there was a private event occurring so I couldnt be seated at such. They also have a front patio seating option as well. I opted to be seated at the bar for this visit as well. The bartender was not as pleasant as my entrance experience and previous visit; however he was attentive. We ordered drinks and then proceeded witj our food ordering once we received our drinks. We ordered Expresso Martini and Reposado Old Fashioned. The drinks are amazing and 5*. We ordered our food Oversized burger and Pan Seared scallops over brussel sprouts. Our food came out hot and within reasonable time. The burger is NOT an oversized burger. Regular sized and the descriptive name is deceiving. The burger option was not anything to speak on as it was not to satisfaction but quelled the hunger moment. It was over cooked. The pan seared scallops came out with a strong "fishy" smell. They however were tasty and spicy. This was a small plate as it was only 3 scallops in total. Other then the strong "fishy"smell, they were tasty. We then ordered a limoncello and was of course satisfied as it was another great tasting drink. This establishment does not have a nice and variety food menu but you will never be disappointed with the drinks.

Date: April 25, 2026…read more I visited Papas (Side Bar) on April 25, 2026, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. First, the food quality has declined compared to my previous visits over the years. I have been a loyal customer for a long time, and what I received was not consistent with how the dish has been prepared before. When I politely asked the server (Katie) to take the plate back because it was not as expected, she became upset and responded in an unprofessional manner. She questioned what was wrong and stated that the dish would come out of her check. I calmly explained that I have been coming here for many years and that the preparation was different from before. Her response was inappropriate--she mentioned that "Mr. Papas died in November," which I found disrespectful and unnecessary. Regardless of any internal changes, this is not something that should be communicated to a customer in that manner. I then asked to speak with a manager and explained the situation. Unfortunately, the server continued to behave rudely while I was addressing the issue. This experience did not reflect professionalism, respect for customers, or the standards I had come to expect from your establishment. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve both service and customer experience moving forward.

This particular day, it was quite busy and unfortunately, there were more children here than there were adults. I get it, there's not much to do out in these parts and for the parents, I'm sure the prospect of setting up a picnic and letting their kids run around the lawn is a big pro. However, it becomes a BIG con for me as a childless person just trying to enjoy myself when there's a cacophony of children screaming, babies being changed on the table in front of me, kids running around unattended, and just general chaos. I don't know how it became so normalized for breweries, where there's alcohol being consumed, to become playgrounds for small children but here we are. My recommendation would be to provide a "child-free" section. The place is absolutely enormous so it wouldn't be hard. Perhaps the "stable bar" area and the lawn in front of it could serve as this child free area. Or maybe there's specific days of the week or certain times of day children aren't allowed? Beyond this complaint, I was pleased to see the food truck menu way more expanded than the last time I was here. They even offer gluten free pizza now! It was pretty good too. I enjoyed the grapefruit seltzer which came canned and loved the mango seltzer slushie. My boyfriend liked his pilsner and hefeweizen, too. Service from one of the bartenders was curt and standoffish - she seemed extremely stressed to be pouring beer and rolled her eyes or scoffed at any request for a sample. Other bartenders were holding it down and keeping their cool though -- she could learn a thing or two from her coworkers.

The prices were also very reasonable with a few of the beers on special for $4. They have food with multiple options available. We tried their brisket dog which was delicious with a nice, slight kick of spice. The fries were nice and crisp, but could have used more seasoning in my opinion. There was a lot of outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. It was a bit warm for my preference, but they had a large fan that I found a seat near, so that helped. There was live music which is always great. Not my preferred genre, but still nice for the overall ambience. Overall, I loved the vibe of this spot and I can't wait to go back in the fall when temperatures are cooler!
