Staff was quick and friendly. It was busy for a Friday night and there were some kids running around and being obnoxious, but other than that we had a great time. It wasn't very busy around opening on a Wednesday (go figure). I ordered one of their hazy draft beers and it was delicious!! I also grabbed a frozen watermelon mint seltzer which was my favorite, so refreshing! The bartender was super friendly and I struck up conversation with her about the book she was reading. They also have a brewery cat wandering around! Love this spot, I'll be back.

For a lager-focused brewery, they actually had a really impressive variety of beers. My husband and I both went with IPAs, and we were pleasantly surprised by how unique and robust the flavor profiles were. I only wish one of our favorites had been available in cans to take home! There were also two completely different experiences happening while we were there, a craft event meetup and a make-your-own ramen noodle experience. Both sections were packed, but there was still plenty of other seating, so it didn't feel crowded or overwhelming. We also had a great time chatting with the bartender and hearing about the brewery, its opening, and their experiences. That kind of personal interaction really added to the visit. The beer was good too, crisp and easy to drink. I've got to give Pickett a 4 out of 5 though because the bathroom situation was rough. How does a brewery only have one single bathroom for everybody, all genders included? That was easily the worst part of being there, standing in a long bathroom line at a brewery is not it. Please get a second bathroom!! Other than that, really cool spot with a good atmosphere and solid beer.
