Was pretty empty on a Saturday evening about 1-2h before closing! Lots of indoor seating, games, and a ping pong room. A lot of beer and non-beer options. The mango slush was a bit too sweet for my liking, but contained a good balance of alcohol to mango flavor. There's a cute tuxedo cat roaming around as well!
Had a great Sunday afternoon at Mobtown Brewing Company. First things first, I got visited by Ernie, their resident cat. He walked across the bar, mossied up to me, greated me and sat in my lap. He languished there for a good five minutes until he got bored and went about whatever cat business he had on the agenda. The venue is mid sized. There is an L shaped bar with plenty of seating. There are inside tables and a few seats outside in the front. The music was a mix of hip hop and more recent r&b, but I would imagine that changes depending on the crowd. I could drink here all day, and almost did, but there were more breweries in "Ballamore" I wanted to explore. The BEER: The Doctor Says I'm Hazy NEIPA 6.5% ABV... Orange and lemon peel, this is the one. Very very very lovely. Motown Natty Dough Vienna Lager 5.4% ABV... clean, crisp Vienna Lager Mobtown Cover Two Imperial IPA 9.1% ABV... Orange or Tangerine, maybe clementine, it is slightly boozy and amazingly good, after taste is like east or west coast hoppy Mobtown Essex Wonderland winter warmer 8% ABV... very hop forward with a hint of pumpkin spice Mobtown Long Wave NEIPA 5.4% ABV... juicy, with grapefruits notes Ther service here was impeccable and this will be one of my first stops when I visit again. What a great place to drink well crafted beer.
Love this place! I got a chance to check this brewery out a week ago and I love that it has a little game area, is dog friendly and offers a food truck right out front. The inside is so cute with a beautiful mural across the back wall. The space is huge so if you were to come with a large party, it could seat everyone. They have such great beer options with cute punny names. My favorite thought was the hard kombucha. Maybe I was just tired of drinking beer by that point but it was so light and not heavily carbonated. The kombucha flavor was not overpowering and left me wanting more had I not been so full! I would highly recommend checking this place out especially if you have dogs or kids. Perk is that it is indoors and dogs are still allowed in!
Nice selections. Tried three: a hazy (#1 listed on the board) and recommend by the employee at the register, a cold double IPA (#5) and a light Mexican beer (#?) suggested by the server at the bar. My favorite was the cold double IPA. Nice big open space with tables and a bar. Up a couple of steps to get to the venue. Parking was tricky. Staff behind the bar was friendly and helpful. Unisex bathrooms with locks and a common open station washbasin. Got noisy as the afternoon wore on. Enjoyed the visit. Got to pet the resident mouser.
If an extensive selection of beers and friendly staff is not enough to wet your whistle, perhaps the airy space and ping pong will send you. I am a proponent for any brewery with more than three sour beer selections. Also, there is a fair share of random decorations to feast your eyes on.
Came here for the first time on their anniversary party, Their strawberry so far is my favorite also a slow jam tropical sour ale and it was delicious!! a bunch of people brought their dogs. It was great!! It's not to big of a brewery but it's very nice can't wait to come back!! (Kid friendly)
As a non beer drinker I was not expecting to have such a good experience . Came for a food truck that was there stayed for the Cyzer ! With the help from the staff (totally forgot her name but she was great !! ) I landed on getting a cyzer charm city that was delicious also had a blue Hawaiian . Very chill atmosphere. Great staff . Great vibes !

Great selection of local Baltimore beers in an eclectic space. There is something for everyone here! Friendly service and there is plenty of seating inside and out. Would highly recommend this for any beer lover. A must stop on your next trip to Baltimore.
Hands down one of my favorite Breweries (and places in general) in Baltimore. They are dog friendly! Even inside! The staff is so friendly and very helpful. They have tons of delicious brews that change frequently so there is always something new. I just attended Mobtoberfest (their version of Octoberfest) recently and they block off the street and have food trucks, music, etc. so check out their Instagram for food trucks and events... and live music in the brewery! I have even seen paint nights and things like that here too. Even though Mobtoberfest is over, the beer is still available for the Fall season! It's delicious if your into the Marzen beers... but my favorite is the Grand Pumpkin which is a stout with lots of vanilla bean! Again, it is seasonal so the selection rotates regularly! Last thing... Monday's they are closed but host the Baltimore Ping Ping League, which I have been happy to be a part of for the last few years! It's so fun and I love that it's here! Always a good time here. Definitely one of my favorite places in Baltimore.
We stopped by for a couple of beers and to watch basketball. We loved the open, warehouse vibes with amazing murals on the walls. We also loved the in house cat who charmed everyone he met. We happened to not like any of their beers (sampled many) but we'll be back for sure because we love the vibes, have more beers to try, and want to support a small business that's contributing to the community on really positive ways. They don't seem to serve food, but there was a food truck out back. Bartenders were super nice and friendly. Would recommend that everyone check it out. They have a ton of beers we haven't had a chance to try, so we'll be working our way through their options. It also seems like you're welcome to bring your own food in -- and it's very pet friendly.
Came here earlier today with my cousin and her dog (yes they allow dogs!) and was so pleasantly surprised. The space is now open indoors but still feels socially distanced enough to be safe during covid, also I really enjoyed the beer. Specifically, we got the better living through chemistry (which I loved but I really like sour beers) and the homegrown (which was a little spiced tasting but in a good way). I recommend coming here, even during covid!
I stumbled into Mobtown for the first time recently and loved it! It has a great atmosphere (kinda warehouse-y) with lots of seating, both bar seating and tables. They have about ~15 different beers you can choose from, as well as some "guest" selections. I tried a Hazy IPA (at the bartender's recommendation) that was great! They don't have food, but there was a food truck serving burgers and fries when we were there. There's also trivia every other Thursday! Pets and kid friendly.

Welcoming brewery space with lots of seating, natural light, and artwork. Came here with a friend to chat and play some card games and this was the perfect place to do that. It wasn't very busy around opening on a Wednesday (go figure). I ordered one of their hazy draft beers and it was delicious!! I also grabbed a frozen watermelon mint seltzer which was my favorite, so refreshing! The bartender was super friendly and I struck up conversation with her about the book she was reading. They also have a brewery cat wandering around! Love this spot, I'll be back. read more

This is a really cool brewery with a large space and an awesome, casual vibe with cool artwork on the walls and on shelves and other spots throughout the taphouse. The bartenders were very friendly and happy to help with beer suggestions or offer a taste of a brew. They had a food truck outside that looked good and from what I understand, they often have food trucks for your dining pleasure. Can't forget the adorable brewery cat Ernie! He was very much enjoying his nap while we were there, but I hope to give him some love if he's out and about next time we are there. The beers they had during this visit weren't my favorite styles, but they did have a Black Forest stout I ended up enjoying. I'll definitely return and see what other beers they have in rotation! read more

I stumbled across Mobtown when a friend randomly invited me to a pop-up market event while having brunch at another restaurant. Parking was a little difficult because there is street parking but I managed to find a spot. Before venturing to the tables of the popup vendors, I decided to check out the inside of the brewery. There was a pretty good amount of seating and space inside. It seemed very welcoming to families and pets as I saw quite of few of them with small children and their dogs. I didn't plan on purchasing a beverage because I'm not a big beer drinker and if I do partake, it's usually sours. They did have one sour on tap but it was only 3.8% abv and the description didn't really sound like anything that I would enjoy. I saw that they had 2 types of frozen drinks with house made spirits. I opted for the orange crush slushy. It was not only delicious but I felt a nice buzz (I believe they said it was 6% abv). It's a cool place that I would definitely recommend to my friends that enjoy beer. read more

Great brewery in Baltimore! Went to this brewery on a Saturday afternoon to hang out. About 18 beers on tap with a good variety. They also have ciders, cold brew, and kombucha on tap. We had the amber ale, tripel, imperial stout and the Hefeweizen. The amber was decent, but was a little light. The others were great tasting beers. Prices were pretty standard and they have cans and growlers to go. The place was pretty packed and small, but overall a nice brewery environment. Also, it is dog friendly and their were lots of cute dogs around. Overall a nice brewery with good beer choices! read more

Very hip brewery and great addition to local beer scene. A brewery back in Brewers Hill, lovely! Great beers. Lots of styles, all done well, and rotating taps make for a tasty & flexible experience. Great vibe, cool but not pretentious. Fantastically decorated, with several gorgeous murals. Friendly service. Was very surprised to see a couple sub-par reviews, I really liked the beer. I will definitely be a regular. Drink local! read more
Excellent brewery that focuses on quality brews that venture into unique creativity and pleasing tastes! I've tried all of their main beers and have been blown away by the the spectrum of variety and how every single brew blows me away, especially their Saison and their Robust Porter! Mobtown is quickly becoming my new favorite Baltimore brewery and I'm looking forward to when they offer new seasonal beers too. The decor is cool, the vibe is really chill, and the staff/bartenders are really welcoming! read more
Mobtown has a great atmosphere and great beer. There is limited outside seating, in the form of picnic tables in front of the building and some Adirondack chairs on the side of the building. The chairs face a busy industrial road, so it can get a little loud with trucks barreling by. Inside is spacious and pretty. There is a friendly kitty inside who made my night! They have quite a few delicious beers covering a wide variety of styles at any given time. Overall, I like this physical brewery experience and also their beer. I think Mobtown is underrated compared to some other members of Baltimore's thriving craft beer scene, but they definitely deserve a spot at the top. read more

Came here in a Saturday afternoon because I have been wanting to check them out. Tried a flight so I could sample a few beers. Got mostly IPAs and I believe one Gose. Unfortunately i was not impressed with any of their beers but it appeared that they have rotating beers so they may be different from week to week. They have a cool indoor/outdoor section you can bring dogs. The music was very low key and just did not seem upbeat. I wanted to be impressed by this place but unfortunately was not. I did enjoy their wall art though. read more

Awesome new brewery in the neighborhood! Finally there's a brewery in Brewer's Hill! Solid beer selection from Mobtown, and some cider and non-alcoholic options from other local business for those folks who don't do beer. Rotating food trucks and BYO-food. Kiddo-friendly, and doggy-friendly on the loading dock. Chill, industrial vibe inside, complete with a sick space-octopus mural. Definitely going to be my new go-to happy hour spot! read more
