Love this place! I got a chance to check this brewery out a week ago and I love that it has a little game area, is dog friendly and offers a food truck right out front. The inside is so cute with a beautiful mural across the back wall. The space is huge so if you were to come with a large party, it could seat everyone. They have such great beer options with cute punny names. My favorite thought was the hard kombucha. Maybe I was just tired of drinking beer by that point but it was so light and not heavily carbonated. The kombucha flavor was not overpowering and left me wanting more had I not been so full! I would highly recommend checking this place out especially if you have dogs or kids. Perk is that it is indoors and dogs are still allowed in!

Nice selections. Tried three: a hazy (#1 listed on the board) and recommend by the employee at the register, a cold double IPA (#5) and a light Mexican beer (#?) suggested by the server at the bar. My favorite was the cold double IPA. Nice big open space with tables and a bar. Up a couple of steps to get to the venue. Parking was tricky. Staff behind the bar was friendly and helpful. Unisex bathrooms with locks and a common open station washbasin. Got noisy as the afternoon wore on. Enjoyed the visit. Got to pet the resident mouser.

Sour beer and a game of eye -spy anyone?

If an extensive selection of beers and friendly staff is not enough to wet your whistle, perhaps the airy space and ping pong will send you. I am a proponent for any brewery with more than three sour beer selections. Also, there is a fair share of random decorations to feast your eyes on.

Came here for the first time on their anniversary party, Their strawberry so far is my favorite also a slow jam tropical sour ale and it was delicious!! a bunch of people brought their dogs. It was great!! It's not to big of a brewery but it's very nice can't wait to come back!! (Kid friendly)

As a non beer drinker I was not expecting to have such a good experience . Came for a food truck that was there stayed for the Cyzer ! With the help from the staff (totally forgot her name but she was great !! ) I landed on getting a cyzer charm city that was delicious also had a blue Hawaiian . Very chill atmosphere. Great staff . Great vibes !

Happened to stop by during their 4th birthday celebration. Really good time food trucks, music, games and good service.

Great selection of local Baltimore beers in an eclectic space. There is something for everyone here! Friendly service and there is plenty of seating inside and out. Would highly recommend this for any beer lover. A must stop on your next trip to Baltimore.

We love Mobtown! Dog friendly inside, best staff, best beers!

Hands down one of my favorite Breweries (and places in general) in Baltimore. They are dog friendly! Even inside! The staff is so friendly and very helpful. They have tons of delicious brews that change frequently so there is always something new. I just attended Mobtoberfest (their version of Octoberfest) recently and they block off the street and have food trucks, music, etc. so check out their Instagram for food trucks and events... and live music in the brewery! I have even seen paint nights and things like that here too. Even though Mobtoberfest is over, the beer is still available for the Fall season! It's delicious if your into the Marzen beers... but my favorite is the Grand Pumpkin which is a stout with lots of vanilla bean! Again, it is seasonal so the selection rotates regularly! Last thing... Monday's they are closed but host the Baltimore Ping Ping League, which I have been happy to be a part of for the last few years! It's so fun and I love that it's here! Always a good time here. Definitely one of my favorite places in Baltimore.

We stopped by for a couple of beers and to watch basketball. We loved the open, warehouse vibes with amazing murals on the walls. We also loved the in house cat who charmed everyone he met. We happened to not like any of their beers (sampled many) but we'll be back for sure because we love the vibes, have more beers to try, and want to support a small business that's contributing to the community on really positive ways. They don't seem to serve food, but there was a food truck out back. Bartenders were super nice and friendly. Would recommend that everyone check it out. They have a ton of beers we haven't had a chance to try, so we'll be working our way through their options. It also seems like you're welcome to bring your own food in -- and it's very pet friendly.

I stumbled into Mobtown for the first time recently and loved it! It has a great atmosphere (kinda warehouse-y) with lots of seating, both bar seating and tables. They have about ~15 different beers you can choose from, as well as some "guest" selections. I tried a Hazy IPA (at the bartender's recommendation) that was great! They don't have food, but there was a food truck serving burgers and fries when we were there. There's also trivia every other Thursday! Pets and kid friendly.

Spent some time here during my visit to Baltimore!!

Came here earlier today with my cousin and her dog (yes they allow dogs!) and was so pleasantly surprised. The space is now open indoors but still feels socially distanced enough to be safe during covid, also I really enjoyed the beer. Specifically, we got the better living through chemistry (which I loved but I really like sour beers) and the homegrown (which was a little spiced tasting but in a good way). I recommend coming here, even during covid!

Great brewery in Baltimore! Went to this brewery on a Saturday afternoon to hang out. About 18 beers on tap with a good variety. They also have ciders, cold brew, and kombucha on tap. We had the amber ale, tripel, imperial stout and the Hefeweizen. The amber was decent, but was a little light. The others were great tasting beers. Prices were pretty standard and they have cans and growlers to go. The place was pretty packed and small, but overall a nice brewery environment. Also, it is dog friendly and their were lots of cute dogs around. Overall a nice brewery with good beer choices!

And I love that they give back to the community in areas such as education, community and philanthropy. Stopped in this past Saturday with a bunch of my gym friends. I love that their tap list offers a little bit of everything for everyone, from classic lagers and IPA to house ciders. I am a Pilsner girl, so their Pilsner was my fave. I love that they do weekly events such as Trivia and open mic nights to name a few as well as host a few several food trucks out back. Oh and this is the spot where they have that really nice flea market as well. You have to check their Instagram page to see which food trucks will be serving food. Saturday they had empanadas from Aru Aru, which were very yummy and made fresh to order. Best spot if you are a beer connoisseur, great place for happy hours and is accommodating for large parties. Plus you bring your own cards and board games to play as well. I will so definitely return.

The old church and architecture is so warm and inviting-- it was still decorated and lit for Christmas so it felt extra festive. It WAS weird to see the brew tanks at the front of the old church, where the altar would have been. But it also places the beer on the altar of our Friday night so I was OK with that. I had an American Pale Ale, the husband had a Kolsch. My beer was exceptional and delicious. My husband said the kolsch was OK. They also have a cute space with books and board games! As well as a cool merchandise wall with excellent cool t-shirts. I had to restrain myself. There is no kitchen or food served here. Order at the bar and sit where you want, there are plenty of tables and a lot of elbow space. The folks at the bar are Super Nice and you should tip them well. They told me there is usually a food truck that shows up at an undisclosed time in the evening. We did order some fantastic pretzels (w/ smoked gouda) and waited some more but ultimately had to go find a meal elsewhere. We will be back, perhaps in warmer weather to wait out the food truck and have more beer. Also, we were there for happy hour so our beers were $5! Thank you to all of the kind people at The Ministry of Brewing! We will be back.

Outside, there is the Peabody Concession Stand, which is a food truck offering Korean-Fusion eats. Chef Anthony is great and the food is always delish! Peabody always has house-brewed beers on tap, my favorite is the Astrodon, which is a nice hazy IPA. BEWARE if you park in their lot though, there are no signs, but they close the gate after the brewery closes! I carpooled with my friend to another bar close by after Peabody Heights closed, and when I came back to get my car, the barbed-wire gate was closing it in. Our party grabbed a high top table, but that was tricky with our littlest, so we went outside to the patio. While in the winter they have some space heaters to make it more pleasant, they only cover a small amount of the patio. We were far from the only folks with kiddos (a lot of babies and toddlers around), which is why I was surprised I didn't see any high chairs or booster seats. Just be aware if you bring littles. I imagine the patio is probably a lot better in the warmer months, but be aware that there's not much indoor space in colder weather. The pizza was probably the best part of the visit. Their "plain" cheese, the "Formaggio" is a 5-cheese blend that we enjoyed, especially Child #1 and Child #3. We also enjoyed our pepperoni pizza (sorry, Child #2, no olives as a topping). My wife got the chicken tenders for Child #3 and they both shared it - said it was solid. My friends got the pretzels with their Jersey Pizza and the one piece I had was good - sweet and salty glaze; I just wish there were more to eat. The beers were okay. My wife and I are fond of sours, so we got the Peach Cobbler Sour and the Black Shadows wild ale. My wife commented how the peach cobbler sour was surprisingly bitter. The Black Shadows was quite funky. It's not for everyone but if you like wild/sour/funky beers, it's worth a try. Overall not bad.

It took about 10 minutes before we finally had to flag him down just to place our order. The food then took around 25-30 minutes to come out, which felt very long since we were on a tight schedule for our flight. When the food finally arrived, I ordered the macaroni and cheese, and unfortunately it was the worst mac and cheese I've ever had. I don't want to be mean, but it was very bland and really needed salt. My sister surprisingly liked it, but it just wasn't for me at all. The rest of my family did enjoy their meals, and I thought the fries were decent, just lightly seasoned. My mom especially liked the grilled cheese. The waiter himself was nice and kept our drinks refilled, so I don't think the long wait was entirely his fault. The restaurant is very cute inside with cozy, old-style vibes and festive Christmas decorations, which I really liked. However, between the long wait times, the limited menu, and my disappointing mac and cheese, I wouldn't recommend that dish. Overall, it's a charming place, but the service was too slow for us--especially when trying to catch a flight.
