    The flight of 4 brews
    Claudia C.

Such an exciting experience! We were there for brewery selections, we shared a flight of 4 brews just delicious and nice and cold. Also for was the musical Wicked done in drag, that was pure entertainment.. The actors had on full costumes and professional make up. They sang every piece there was that i could remember. It literally took them months to learn the words in lipsync.. They did it perfectly, all the mouthings and jestures. They did not miss a beat, believe me, they had the audience totally involved. It seemed like every one there knew all the lyrics The ambiance was that of a rough hewn bar.with a room for plenty of brewery with seating. Outside of that, performers had a side room for costume changes. I am not sure about parking, since it was a Sunday, we parked in the private lot across the street.

I've been to this brewery a few times since moving here last month. The people working here are super friendly. There's a large seating area inside and they also have outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. Each time I've been here, they have had food trucks or pop ups. There is a room full of pinball machines and also an arcade room. They also have a room for events. We happened to be here one evening when they had a local market and drag show which was fun! As far as the beers, there is a good selection mixture of styles and I've enjoyed all of the ones I've tried! Overall, it's a great brewery and fun place to relax.

This is the kind of Urban Brewery location I prefer: minimal effort that is naturally Baltimore Kitsch. Nothing too fancy or artificial, just a cool space to drink good beers with your friends. The beer is good, the mood an excellent, and the food from the little Ramen stand was delicious!

This is my second time at Peabody Heights Brewery, and I cannot wait for a third time, and more! The first time at Peabody, I attended 2023 Yelp Awards and their game room was opened that day in particular, and is a great addition to the establishment! The second time as Peabody, I attended a drag SLAYmas brunch and had the besssst time with my mom! I don't think Peabody has an in house kitchen, so it's typical local businesses that'll partner with Peabody and serve at the customers payment (Ekiben the first time, and Nana's the second - both delicious). My mom and I ordered a flight during the drag brunch (including H8erade, Old Oriole Park Bohemian, Mount Claire, and Pineapple Upside Down Astrodino), and thoroughly enjoyed most, with H8erade being a fan (or house) favorite! I love Peabody on a cold day, and can only imagine the outside dining being used during warmer months! I'll have to note Peabody in 2025 as a place to go during the summer!

Peabody Heights Brewing is a huge venue and it has areas. There is the taproom, an arcade, a place where gamers hang out, and an outside area as well. On my visit there was a food truck with Indian food that was awfully good. The place is old Oriole baseball themed. In my opinion, it is well thought out, because there are pockets of coolness everywhere. If coolness even is a word? To order beer you have to go up to the bar and there is no bar seating. It is both family friendly and fur baby friendly. Dogs are welcome here. The BEER: Speed Gal fruited Gose 4.4% ABV... I got ginger and some kind of fruit, very light, slightly sour, but did not get much sea salt like a typical gose. This would be good for those who crave Seltzers. Triple dry hopped Astrodan NEIPA 7% ABV... so much fruit forward in the nose and on the pallet... this is absolutely delish The Night Razzler Belgian dark ale 5.3% ABV... I got licorice on the first sip, and I frowned. Did not love this, but didn't hate it either. Raisin and pepper, didn't love it, didn't hate it either. *Awight* Unforgiveable Curses Belgian Tripel 9% ABV... prrrrr...fection!!!!! This is a super star. Fire!!! Old Oriole Park Bohemian Lager 4 5% ABV... smooth, clean, all day crushable Lager and very low in IBUs. This is a perfectly balanced light lager Grain Birds barley wine 11.5% ABV... WOW and WOW. This Barleywine is not as boozy as I expected. And in general, the beer here is so very good. Trashbuster porter 6.2% ABV... malty chocolate goodness and not too much acid like subtle coffee porters. I am very impressed by how crushable this porter is. So far, my brewecation in Baltimore has yielded a gem of a brewery here at Peabody Heights Brewery. Shout out to Katlyn from Peter Pourhouse for recommending this place. PEABODY is EXCEPTIONAL. PEABODY HEIGHTS BREWING is in a schetchy area of Baltimore, but if you need a family friendly, safe environment to experience exceptional craft beer, this is the place. What a wonderful place for fantastic craft beer.

Great way to start off Pride month. Enjoyed a fabulous drag brunch and tasty beer while celebrating a friend's birthday. The beertenders were fantastic! The flight was delicioso! I love how PBH celebrates Baltimore with unique local brews. Charming brewery in a cool neighborhood. Great service!

Pumpkin mead and a Korean smash burger w/ fries

I've been to Peabody Heights Brewery probably 5 times now. They do a great job of hosting events, and are also a great casual spot to meet up with friends or grab a beer. They are kid friendly, pet friendly, and have more than just beer on tap. I'm not a fan of beer, so if I find one I like, that's a huge compliment to the establishment/brewery. I have enjoyed their pumpkin mead, hard seltzers, chocolate porter, and kombuchas. They also usually have a food truck on site. I enjoyed coming to get Fuzzies burgers when they were here, now they have another food truck that serves Korean and American food. At my latest visit, I ordered a Korean Smash Burger (came with a side of fries), that was flavorful, delicious, juicy, and filling. It was a huge burger and I ate about half there and took the other half to go. It reheated so well the next day for dinner! The interior was decorated for fall (along with having their usual baseball theme - it is the former site of the Baltimore Orioles, I believe). They also have expanded their arcade. They have a smaller arcade off the side of the bar, which I've enjoyed, but they also recently opened up a larger arcade in the back that I haven't had a chance to check out. They have a good event space if you're looking to host something.

Peabody has a wide assortment of beers for almost any palate. The bartenders are fast and kind in serving beers. They do have a flight option as well. I really enjoyed the H8terade, which was sweet and tangy, almost like a cider. I am not even a big fan of grape-flavored anything, but this beer is defintently worth the try. They do serve bar snakc, like chips. The night I went, they had a taco truck out back. They are also dog-friendly! The atmosphere was spacious, with plenty of seating. They have a bacl room full of different pinball machines, as well as an arcade space. Be sure to check out their social media as they host a variety of different events, including a chess club on Mondays.

I've got to be honest: I was expecting better. The beer just isn't anything even remotely special, and I tried a lot of different varieties. Some kind of Belgian, a fruity Brambles and something beer, an American light beer that I asked to sample and they brought me a whole 16 oz glass without request. I was able to return it and get it taken off my tab, and replaced it with a second Unforgivable Curses, which is okay. I tried a couple more beers that didn't blow me away first. Look, I have to compare this to Brewers Art, where I was happy with every beer I've had - as well as an experience at a different brewery I encountered in Atlanta. It's just...not on the same level. Not close. The service is okay but the table is sticky, and the beers are just not stellar. They're fine. They're just fine. I could get just fine from a corner store, for less. I don't mean to seem like a snob about this but the gap between Peabody here and other options is substantial. It's not bad. It's just...just beer.

Had the most fun here! Came here for the first time for my brother's birthday and man we had a ball. It's def a vibe and the good reviews are well earned. It's a perfect spot for many kinds of interests. They are family friendly (you can bring kids!) and LGBTQIA+ allies so you can expect things like drag brunches in their programs. They have live music and other events during the week like even a chess club. They specialize in beers with a lot of options so you can hang out at the bar if you like. And of course the main reason we came was for the arcade! The arcade is $12 entry during the week and $15 on weekends (Fri-Sun). You can call them but sometimes they don't pickup so be aware of that. They have a small free parking lot and street parking nearby. There is an outdoor space for the live music from local bands and they have food from a food truck. The arcade was so much fun!! they have a whole room for pinball that is pay per play with coins but they have a cash to coin machine on site. I only took off one star for food because it was pretty bland. Cooked through but no seasoning on the chicken burger or the bibimbap/fries I ordered for $21. The pork belly my brother got was good so I would recommend getting that. Overall it was a great experience and I would happily come again.

First time visiting this brewery today! Came in for a drag brunch! The place was very spacious. The layout overall was nice as I didn't expect there to be so much room. The staff were friendly and pointed me in the direction of what I was looking as far as drink options! There was a parking lot to the right of the facility and also plenty of street parking! Would definitely return!

THANK YOU to the Peabody Heights Brewery for hosting the Baltimore YELP Chapter Awards & Christmas party. Had a great time and sampled several of the bier choices. If I lived in Baltimore this would be a great place to unwind and socialize with friends at the end of a work day.

It WAS weird to see the brew tanks at the front of the old church, where the altar would have been. But it also places the beer on the altar of our Friday night so I was OK with that. I had an American Pale Ale, the husband had a Kolsch. My beer was exceptional and delicious. My husband said the kolsch was OK. They also have a cute space with books and board games! As well as a cool merchandise wall with excellent cool t-shirts. I had to restrain myself. There is no kitchen or food served here. Order at the bar and sit where you want, there are plenty of tables and a lot of elbow space. The folks at the bar are Super Nice and you should tip them well. They told me there is usually a food truck that shows up at an undisclosed time in the evening. We did order some fantastic pretzels (w/ smoked gouda) and waited some more but ultimately had to go find a meal elsewhere. We will be back, perhaps in warmer weather to wait out the food truck and have more beer. Also, we were there for happy hour so our beers were $5! Thank you to all of the kind people at The Ministry of Brewing! We will be back.

I didn't plan on purchasing a beverage because I'm not a big beer drinker and if I do partake, it's usually sours. They did have one sour on tap but it was only 3.8% abv and the description didn't really sound like anything that I would enjoy. I saw that they had 2 types of frozen drinks with house made spirits. I opted for the orange crush slushy. It was not only delicious but I felt a nice buzz (I believe they said it was 6% abv). We were far from the only folks with kiddos (a lot of babies and toddlers around), which is why I was surprised I didn't see any high chairs or booster seats. Just be aware if you bring littles. I imagine the patio is probably a lot better in the warmer months, but be aware that there's not much indoor space in colder weather. The pizza was probably the best part of the visit. Their "plain" cheese, the "Formaggio" is a 5-cheese blend that we enjoyed, especially Child #1 and Child #3. We also enjoyed our pepperoni pizza (sorry, Child #2, no olives as a topping). My friends got the pretzels with their Jersey Pizza and the one piece I had was good - sweet and salty glaze; I just wish there were more to eat. The beers were okay. My wife and I are fond of sours, so we got the Peach Cobbler Sour and the Black Shadows wild ale. My wife commented how the peach cobbler sour was surprisingly bitter. When the food finally arrived, I ordered the macaroni and cheese, and unfortunately it was the worst mac and cheese I've ever had. I don't want to be mean, but it was very bland and really needed salt. My sister surprisingly liked it, but it just wasn't for me at all. The rest of my family did enjoy their meals, and I thought the fries were decent, just lightly seasoned. My mom especially liked the grilled cheese. The waiter himself was nice and kept our drinks refilled, so I don't think the long wait was entirely his fault. The restaurant is very cute inside with cozy, old-style vibes and festive Christmas decorations, which I really liked. However, between the long wait times, the limited menu, and my disappointing mac and cheese, I wouldn't recommend that dish. Overall, it's a charming place, but the service was too slow for us--especially when trying to catch a flight.
