If you're sitting in front, be prepared for people to stand directly in front of you during the drag show. It was frustrating to have 6-foot-tall, 300-pound women completely block our view--especially after paying $18 per ticket. Also, watch out for this one wild white lady in a black shirt and floral shorts who acts invisible and blocks multiple people. If you ask her politely to move, she'll argue with you and even try to escalate things by telling you to "step outside" like she's about that life. Overall, for our first drag show, we had fun--but if you're going to enjoy the performance, be ready to be annoyed because no one there is enforcing basic courtesy or crowd control. The sound system was fantastic, handling both music and comedy with aplomb. They had a short set with three queens, and Sue Nami in particular was excellent. And it definitely caters to a kinkier/risque crowd if that's what you're into (I didn't experience any of that, but they have a leather shop and a kink-friendly back room). My only complaints were the bathrooms (far too dark, I literally needed to use my phone light to see the stall lock. It also makes you feel a little nervous when the walls are plastered with "only 1 person/stall" signs). And they needed a second bartender as the wait for the delicious drinks was long. NoVa = Northern VA for the non-locals. Freddy's it is a very well-known spot if you're looking for a good time.
