The food is good and the warehouse seating area is serviceable for groups. The inner area plays music way too loud. It's over 90 db, and damaging to people's hearing. Anyone working here for more than an hour at a time is receiving permanent hearing damage. I'm going to start pointing this out at every place I see it happening, because it's becoming more and more common, and I can't stand it anymore. I go to restaurant to eat and talk with friends. Masterpieces. Pepperonis so perfectly crispy curled, and the onion I added baked to a perfect light char. The crust is so subtly salty and chewy but not overwhelmingly thick so you don't get full too fast. The sauce just tastes so rich and fresh tomato-y. Holy cheese balls this pizza is good. We also got the fiore zucchini and tho I haven't tried it yet it looks good. Very clean. Staff are so friendly and dealt with my indecision so kindly (bc let's be real their menu is overwhelming bc it all looks good). We absolutely love The Parlor. We've been going for about a year now and even after I moved, I still come here every time I visit. The pizzas are all amazing with unique flavor profiles and the best crust that has a chewy texture and wonderful slight yeasty flavor (almost like sourdough). Very different dining experience, but the food is good. The eating area is very "loungy"...and comfortable, like eating at the house. Had the Rigatoni Bolognese with beef short ribs, and the wife had Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe. Both were delicious, and highly recommended. The Funghi pizza was also spot on. Went to the Parlor for the first time on my bday and this place was a hidden gem! Great food, great service, and great vibes from this Italian restaurant. Very informal, with a cool lounge like ambiance in the main seating area. We loved the lemon pizza, the bolognese, and their Nutella gelato! My wife was able to have her beer and I had a nice mango soda. Everything about this place was great, although we wish we could sit in the regular area with alcohol! It was like eating craft or new Italian food and everything was delicious! The people there were super nice and gave us complimentary stuff to make my bday that much better! I deliver in the area and grab takeout often. Fresh made pasta was what pulled me in. I was able to order ahead. It's best to wait until they are open. Pick-up was simple and easy. It was still hot when I was able to eat it 15 minutes later. This is important to me as a driver as I can't always eat it right then. I really like Napoleatano style pizza. The only issue I saw was it was a on the oily side, probably from the pepperoni, and when you pick up a piece, it was very limp in the middle of the pizza. I still liked it very much. My friend wasn't quite as enthusiastic. The green goddess salad (if I remember correctly) was excellent. Fresh crispy butter lettuce, (I think) with a generous portion of avocado, and a crunchy salad topping with just the right amount of dressing. The folks working there were very friendly. read more

me and a few friends came here during our break because we initially thought the food looked great and it did! it reminded me of how a great wood fired pizza would look like with those crispy burn edges and natural ingredients. but upon eating the food here, everything tasted very bland as if they barely used salt or any essential italian seasonings. i will list the items we ordered below and rate them on a scale of 1-10. - pepperoni pizza: honestly this pizza had so much potential. sadly, this pizza was bland and in my opinion did not bring the best in what a pepperoni pizza should be. i wished the peppornis were slightly crispy on the edges, the pizza sauce was bland and had tasted like they did not use any salt or essential italian seasonings, and the cheese was okay. i did like the texture of the dough as it did have that crispy soft bite. but overall RATING: 6.8/10 - funghi pizza: this pizza was alright as well and could apply the same thoughts from the pepperoni pizza to this one. everything again tasted bland and did not reallt hit me with a flavor bomb. im not saying it did not have flavor, it was just very weak in flavor. RATING: 6.5/10 - rigatoni bolognese: this pasta was okay. AGAIN very bland and weak in flavor but i did like the texture. the beef was juicy and felt tender. sadly another dish with so much potential. We heard about this place from a family friend and stopped for lunch. We ordered the eggplant pasta and beef short rib pasta and for the quantity, quality and price it's really good. The eggplant had a very tomato taste and large chunks of grilled eggplants and the beef short rib pasta had huge chunks of beef in a savory heavy beefy flavor sauce. The only downside is the beef rib pasta is a bit salty, so if you like somewhat salty food this might not be your thing. I'd recommend anyone to check this place out. read more

Found this place because we were staying at a hotel near SNA for an early morning flight. We were very pleasantly surprised! We ordered a bottle of red, the pepperoni pizza, and the orecchiette pasta to share. The orecchiette did not actually come with orecchiette shaped pasta but was still VERY good. Everything tasted very fresh with lots of flavor. Price was on point and service was friendly. They only have a couple of tables inside with a larger dining space across the way. If you are drinking alcohol on the premises, you do have to stay within their smaller space as the liquor license doesn't extend across the way. The music is also pretty loud and it can be hard to have a conversation, but we were very pleased with the food and it more than made up for the small downsides!!
