Salad with Gorgonzola. The dressing was delicious
    S H.

This little restaurant is adorable. It also has a nice coffee shop attached to it. I have been here several times and I absolutely love the stuffed pasta made in house with love. The pear and Gorgonzola salad is also phenomenal!

Full marks for ambience and service. I love that you can enjoy a meal, have a coffee afterward, or even go wine-tasting--all on one property! However, I continue to be a little underwhelmed by American-Italian cuisine. While the food looked appetizing, the flavors were a bit too heavy for my taste. The two standouts I truly enjoyed were the loaded bruschetta and the delicious affogato!

Service was on point tonight! Completed dishes never sat long and we were checked on constantly. The pasta was al dente and flavorful. The caprese salad was fresh and enjoyable. The restaurant has a decent amount of seating and is open and inviting. They have a few tables for larger groups.

Pane Della casa ( housemade focaccia with olive oil & balsamic vinegar )

The incredible quality and authenticity of the Italian food here at Storico Spaghetteria, together with the relative affordability of such foods, makes this restaurant my top pick for everyday Italian fare outings. The pane della casa ( homemade focaccia with olive oil & balsamic vinegar ) was extremely delicious, perfectly salted, and the olive oil with balsamic vinegar tasted outstanding. There were four pieces of focaccia that came for just $3 and I had to take a piece home because it was a lot! The pesto pasta in the half size was $17, and even this was so much that I had to take some home. However, the quality of the pesto and the fusilli pasta noodles were second to none here in OC, and I am now so happy to have found a real Italian restaurant that serves real Italian food for reasonable prices - I worried about having to choose between unhealthy Alfredo and cheese wheel cheaper pastas versus expensive full-scale dining experiences, neither which made sense to me, until I found Storico Spaghetteria, the answer to my Italian food needs. The staff at the Spaghetteria are super dedicated, professional, attentive, and courteous, and I love the kind of upscale yet friendly Old Town Tustin atmosphere here. This actually differs sharply from my experience at the Storico Cafe next door, which is for my next review. I love Storico Spaghetteria and I know my mom will love this place too!!

Storico continues to impress! Great vibe, great staff, and great food. Our three pastas tonight were packed with flavor, high quality ingredients, and so delicious! The pesto was flavorful but not overwhelming, the ragú was so rich and the pappardelle were firm enough to scoop it up, and the risotto was creamy even without cream. The salad was also a great, light appetizer. I will definitely be back!

Came here with my boyfriend on a lunch date and honestly, it was such a great experience. I have a dairy allergy, and the staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive when it came to modifying my order. I got the arrabiata with no cheese and added mushrooms because I love them, and it was absolutely impeccable. So much flavor, perfectly balanced heat, and honestly didn't need cheese at all. The quality of the pasta and sauce really stood on its own. The interior was really charming too, which made the whole experience even better. It's always a relief finding a place that takes allergies seriously and still delivers amazing food. I'll definitely be coming back.

Storico was decent overall. We ordered quite a bit, and the pasta was very good definitely the highlight of the meal. The food itself was flavorful and well prepared. The service, however, was just okay. There was some miscommunication, as I wasn't informed that changing the pasta would come with an extra charge, and I also wasn't told that the bread they offered would be an additional cost. The servers were present to clear plates and remove food, but there wasn't much check-in beyond that. I completely understand that working in the food industry can be overwhelming, but attentive service really makes a big difference in the overall experience. The restaurant itself is very nice inside, but if you're dining as a party of two and plan on ordering multiple dishes, I'd recommend asking for a booth or a larger table. While the staff did help clear plates between courses, it sometimes felt rushed almost like we needed to finish one dish quickly just to make room for the next. We honestly ran out of table space with everything we ordered. Overall, excellent pasta and a beautiful space, with room for improvement in service and communication.

Located on the cute strip of old town Tustin. Wandered in at 9:15 on a Friday because I was waiting for a seat at Hondaya and I almost had a rethink of my dinner plans. This place is cute and hip yet casual. We got a bottle of decent pinot grigio for just $30 and enjoyed it at the bar. Menu looks good and I'll have to try it sometime, but the wine alone makes it a hangout place I'll return to soon enough.

MUST TRYYY IF YOU LOVE PASTA. Cute spot in old town Tustin. They have a parking lot right next door in case you miss it. We sat outside for dinner on a weekday and were sat immediately. Staff is super nice and kept checking on us. A lot of their pasta is handmade and it was so good. I got the papardelle with shrimp and it was perfectly cooked pasta. I like more al dente and it was perfectly cooked! They have huge portions too and offer full or half portion. Picture is size of full! We also like that they offer the wine flight but they pick the flavors for you because we hate picking. They all were awesome snd tasted great with pasta. My fave was the Prosciutto with bread and a buttery cheesy sauce! I'm still thinking about it today.

I have been here two times and pasta is fresh and authentic! Storico is a cute restaurant in downtown Tustin. It gets super packed during peak time so highly recommend coming early to avoid the rush. There is inside and outside seating. They have various selection of pasta, apps, drinks and mains. For apps we recommend the calamari! Very crispy and not overly greasy. For the pasta they do half portions which is good for me. My favorite is the gamberi proscuitto! The sauce is light, creamy, and wide ribbon pasta is bomb! I've tried the capperi e olive, great if you like olives. The cacio e Pepe is a little bit too creamy. My fiancés Ragu pasta was meaty and delicious. If you are going to get dessert definitely get the gelato, so creamy and refreshing, good portion as well. A bit pricy but worth the price, would highly recommend stopping by here for a pasta craving.

Been wanting to go here for a while, glad I finally went! Came here on a Sunday evening for a nice dinner. The weather was perfect so we decided to sit on the patio. Got to enjoy a surprise view of a Space X launch too! The dining room is nice, if not a bit loud but nothing out of the ordinary. The patio is very quaint, I highly recommend sitting here if the weather permits. Service was a tad bit slow but the place was packed so I won't fault them for this. Took a while for our server to first come out and to get our drinks once ordered. The food came out quickly though and at a good temperature. We weren't starving so we started with the antipasto plate, basically a nice charcuterie board. It had pepperoni, salami, and prosciutto for the meats; brie, pepper jack, and a delicious soft crumbly cheese. The board also included olives, artichoke hearts, and perfectly toasted ciabatta bread. For our entree we split the grilled meats plate which was a perfect way to try all their specialty meats. It included 2 Italian sausages, 2 lamb chops, a filet mignon, and a flattened grilled chicken breast. It was all cooked perfectly and tasted great. No dipping sauces or anything to take away from the flavor of the meats. We enjoyed it very much. A bit of arugula and a lemon wedge on the side made a great pairing. We both got the wine sampler which comes with four 2oz pours of their choosing, usually 2 whites and 2 reds. All were very tasty and went perfectly with the meal. We'll definitely be back, thanks Storico!

Cacio e pepe and Ragu di Carne
    Patricia B.

Really enjoyed the Cacio e pepe pasta here! The noodles were especially delicious -- loved how they're made fresh. Tried the Pane della Casa (Focaccia bread with olive oil) too and was pleased with it, plus it was only $3. We also got the Ragu di Carne, but wasn't really a big fan. The service here was great too. Our waitress always checked up on us and made sure we had everything we need. She was also very nice when giving us recommendations when we had questions/were indecisive on what to order. As for how busy it gets, we went here on a Saturday evening and waited about 15-20 minutes. It wasn't bad though since the area was nice to walk around and explore. The parking lot also looks small, but it was easy to get a spot.

    Rachel L.

Stopped by on a weekend around 11 AM and was seated almost right away with minimal wait. The vibe is casual and welcoming, and the servers were super friendly and helpful. They also offered some great recommendations for both food and drinks. 1. Vongole (Linguine) with White Sauce - Creamy yet light, and the clams were incredibly fresh. This is for the seafood lovers- you can definitely taste the quality. 2. Paccheri alla Panna - Rich and creamy white sauce loaded with ham, mushrooms, and onions. The paccheri pasta shape is unique so I recommend giving it a try! 3. Gamberi e Prosciutto - A lighter red sauce with fresh shrimp. The pasta shape was also unique and a great contrast and balance to the creamier dishes we ordered. Overall, a great experience. Parking can be a bit challenging during peak lunch hours, but there is a shared lot nearby. Prices felt fair for the quality and portion sizes, and the pasta definitely tastes authentic!
