I love sweet green and their food but today they completely messed up my online order. I can't even enjoyably eat my food because it actually looks disgusting. I made changes and premium add-ons to my order and received a bowl with most of the ingredients missing. It's almost as if they started making my bowl, got distracted, and then sealed it shut before it was finished. What's even worse is that the store is still open and they only have AI to talk to when you try to call and complain. Below are pictures of my food and the ticket listing the add-ons and changes. They also don't include the free sourdough in the orders. I wanted to order one of the juices as well but the system said they were out. I walked in and they had it in stock. I chatted with an AI rep and they only offered me a $10 credit! Insane. I want my money back. read more

Sweetgreen is a great spot for a healthy customized bite. This Tustin location had so much potential to be somewhere I would visit frequently... but there were a few mishaps that discourages me from coming back. The screens were broken on my visit, so it was hard to order. I did not get an itemized receipt so I had no clue on the pricing breakdown of what I ordered. The tables were dirty even though the place was empty and not busy at all. All of those are minor issues compared to the biggest red flag I observed. The person in front of my changed their mind about one of the ingredients that was already in her bowl. The server took it from her bowl, which already touched other ingredients in there, and threw it back into their container, that will now go to some other customer. I am concerned by food contamination and food allergies. It was an ingredient I would have ordered but I no longer wanted it because I knew I would get the contaminated batch. Also the fried garlic I asked for on the side also had some green stuff contamination that got mixed in. You can zoom into my photo and see the spec of green in the fried garlic. Anyways, I did the Create Your Own that starts at $10.35 and my total was $18.37. Due to the broken screens and not itemized receipts, I had no clue where I paid upgrades. They were out of the organic spring mix I would have wanted so I got some other greens as my base. I enjoyed the carrots, tomatoes, red cabbage and sweet potatoes. Surprisingly I wasn't too into the mushrooms. I had my dressing on the side to be healthy which I tried their green goddess and miso sesame ginger. I liked the dressing in different ways. This is the type of restaurant I usually like. Healthy and customizable. However, they need to clean this place up and be careful with contaminating ingredients. read more

Food tastes and feels wholesome and healthier, more nutritious than like a cava or chipotle. The quality of the proteins and veggies also feels ever so slightly higher. Tbh, I had been looking to try this place for a while but finally got the chance to see what all of the fuss was about. I'm willing to give it another chance but some of my gripes are as follows: The staff looked a bit clueless, confused and just overall not competent with customer service, and the actual food prep and operations. Was a bit weird. The food is also just way too cold and not fresh tasting. Not sure if it's an off day or just need to be better at ordering. I'm going to crate a custom bowl next time I go. I also thought it was lame they charge extra for something as Simple as lime cabbage and stuff Anyways, it was decent and I felt pretty good afterwards. I went to pick up lunch and the girl was very rude I told her I wanted extra apples and was charged extra even though I told her to remove the rice. I was calling to get a manager before I posted this review but no one picked up. I was paying and I told her why the extra charge she said for the apples I have been coming here and have never been charged. Then she was checking me out and I asked her she total blew me off and went to help someone else very rude customer service. read more

A healthy lunch staple! This is one of my go-to spots when I want a yummy and quick meal that isn't too heavy. The workers are usually very friendly and fast; all of their bowls are really good with good size portions, and can be customizable to your liking. One of my favorites is their chicken pesto bowl; super green and filled with spinach. Only downside is the parking here is kind of hard to find, especially during peak hours. This place was great. The food was fresh and tasty. There was plenty of salad to price point. I was very full after I ate the whole salad. I also had the "ripple fries" and they were yummy. I didn't care for the garlic sauce I got with it. The staff member was awesome and explained a few of the dishes and offered suggestions after I asked. Inside was clean, bright and fresh. You really can't go wrong with Sweetgreen when you're craving something fresh and satisfying. I used to eat Sweetgreen all the time when I lived in LA, and honestly, they never messed up my order. The portions are solid, filling, and always leave you feeling good after eating. The other night, my husband and I were trying to figure out dinner (the daily struggle ), and I told him, "You've never tried Sweetgreen--you'll love it." Especially since he's on a lighter, more diet-focused plan. We ordered to go, and let me just say... their steak bowl/plate was SO good. Perfect balance of protein, veggies, and all the add-ons. Every bite hit just right. And the best part? My husband loved it. That's officially a win in my book. I already know Sweetgreen is going to be back in our dinner rotation the next time we can't decide what to eat. The location itself is in a really nice shopping center, and inside it's clean, spacious, and super inviting. The staff was also really friendly and helpful when I picked up our food, which I always appreciate. All in all, I'll definitely be back. Not too many people in store, but oddly long wait which I am guessing is because of the online orders. They didn't have someone doing prep in the window as they did in the opening times. The price is still expensive, but the vegetables still taste good and you can go light to heavy on the sauce (you can even get it on the side). Honestly the sauces make the dish here and their vegetables are obviously fresh tasting. The only downer of my experience was the ripple fries. They were going to make a fresh batch, which a wait would've been fine, except it took like 40 minutes ( we finished our plates before it was done). The cashiers were nice! But just too long for fries and it didn't seem like a team effort/updates ( the one cashier noticed we were still waiting and got to it after 40 minutes) They were also overly salted and tasted like the fries you make at home in the oven. I wish there was more avocado oil used? If you do like dill, the ketchup is super dill-y and yummy, but I wouldn't go with the ads and get the ripple fries lol. They really need to consider doing a weekly special bowl/salad deal. Yeah but the wait is long for how empty the place seems. read more

I was supposed to pick up my order at 7:10 PM, but it wasn't ready until 7:33 PM. When I walked in, no one acknowledged me or checked on my order. After I asked about it, the staff still chose to help several other customers, even though my order should have been completed before theirs. I don't understand the point of scheduling pickup times if orders aren't going to be ready anywhere close to the scheduled time. If an item is sold out that early, customers should be notified before placing or arriving for their orders. Overall, the lack of communication, and poor organization. read more

Love love love this place! I'm here all the time because the salads are so good, but I probably need to slow down on my visits because it is a bit pricey! You can make your own salad, bowl, or plate, or choose from one of their crafted menu options. They have drink options such as kombucha, sparkling water, and juice. They also have chocolate bars and their own version of a rice Krispy treat. For sides they have focaccia bread and chips. They also have new ripple fries now which are great! But you can only choose one of either the ketchup or aioli and if you want both you have to pay for the other one which I think is kinda greedy because it's just ketchup! But, each order comes with a complimentary slice of sourdough bread - sometimes they don't tell you or won't add it so make sure you ask for it if they forget! Anyway, the ingredients are always fresh, and their kitchen is big and wide so you can see them prepping everything from scratch. Service here is always great and I am helped quickly, and the people who work here are friendly. Inside seating is a bit limited, but there is extra seating outside on the back patio which is nice when the weather is warm. Parking can get crowded during busy times because it's next to a Yogurtland, Pilates studio, barber, and a few other eateries. Overall I give this place 5-stars because I'm pretty health conscious and it's a great place for not just a salad but also to make your own bowl or plate (which comes with a grain like rice or quinoa) but I do wish it wasn't so expensive. My girlfriend showed me this place and it didn't disappoint. The Hot Honey Chicken bowl is great and I'd highly recommend it. It doesn't look like a lot of food but the high protein content makes it filling. The staff was nice and friendly both times we went so I'll definitely be going back. read more

I'm an avid salad eater. I can literally eat it morning, noon, and night if left to my own vices. I was excited when Sweetgreens made their West Coast debut and now they are more readily available in SoCal to visit. It's the Chipotle style of service where you meet your Salad Angel (not their official title), but that's what I'm calling them and they ask you how they can make your day exceptional. My exceptional day at Sweetgreens is the Hummus Crunch Salad where I get to make so many substitutions that the old-timer Angels basically tell me I just made a Green Goddess salad (RIP from the OG menu) and yes, that's what I'm basically doing. The dressings are so tasty here, especially the green gooddess dressing. I also cannot say no to the bread. Their miso salmon or blacken chicken are also the stand out proteins for me. Indoor and outdoor. Seating available. I frequent this location the most as it is near my work, but I also have thought this is kind of an atypical location for Sweetgreens. I recently took a hiatus from this location because the last time I was there, the employee - sorry, he does not get the Salad Angel distinction - told me I couldn't substitute apples for shredded cabbage and I couldn't sub almonds for breadcrumb and he would charge me more. We ordered for togo and spent about 10 minutes trying to find a parking spot. We never found one it was so busy we came during our lunch break on a wednesday! I came here for a quick and easy filling salad after a nice hike and got exactly what I was looking for. I love the customizable salad bowls at sweetgreen. This location was quick, friendly, and had plenty of parking available. The salads are quite large, which is good considering the price point. I frequent Sweetgreens from time to time because I live across the street. Its one of the only "healthy" options in the area. It's not the best value for what you get so I dropped a star for the price. Dropped another star because the bowls have been getting smaller and smaller. Todays bowl was kind of depressing actually. I just wanted to write this review to give 5 stars to the gentleman that was working today, 10/02/25 at this location around 3/3:30PM. I wish I caught his name but I'm hoping management somehow sees this review and is able to give him the recognition and praise he deserves. He helped my mom and me with three bowls today all by himself and was so incredibly patient, kind, respectful, and professional. Probably one of the most courteous, well mannered people I have met in a long time. He gave us great service and was quick and efficient and I feel as though he went above and beyond to represent the company. Sweet green is a favorite of mine. I've visited sweetgreen many times since it opened. It went from "Oh this is amazing" when they first opened to "Meh I don't have to come back again." It truly was so great at the beginning; the ingredients were fresh, the store was clean and the portion was fair. But each subsequent visit has just been going downhill. Last night's visit was truly a disappointment. They were understaffed, so we waited in line for almost 30 min. It was 7pm, and they had ran out of wild rice, pesto vinaigrette, balsamic vinaigrette, and hot sauce. I got the caramelized garlic steak- it wasn't caramelized and had no taste of garlic. As you can see in the photo, the steak did not look very appetizing. The store wasn't clean- many tables were littered with food remnants The service was solid- the two staff manning the store were trying their best to be efficient and still had a smile on their faces. Came here after workout and ordered Caramelized Garlic Steak, when I got there they told me they are out of wild rice. This happened with my last order, and the staff offered to make another batch if I can wait ~15 minutes, and I agreed. So I asked if same option's still available, answer is yes except wait time is 15~20 minutes. I thought about it for a min and agreed. I do appreciate the staff making the efforts of making another batch upon request, and to their credit, all staff helped me throughout the process is very nice and helpful. Except it's not 15 or 20 minutes wait, it's 37 minutes from 8:33 to 9:10. What's worse, when I got home, the wild rice was very, very undercooked. All the other ingredients are now cold, and they are also missing warm roasted sweet potatoes (I ordered two types of sweet potatoes, only one portion was served) So I waited twice as long in the restaurant, for my wild rice to be severely undercooked, all other food got cold, and missing items from the order. He was literally forgetting and moving on without me even being done picking my toppings. He forgot my chickpea I only noticed till the end I thought he did so as I told him but he forgot. I am a huge fan of this chain! Everything is unbelievably flavorful for what seems to be pretty simple meals. It's all made with really high quality ingredients, and so worth the money. They even have the list of the farms and sources where all of the different ingredients originate. My favorite protein is the caramelized garlic steak. If you haven't had it, you gotta! All of the plates and bowls come with sauces, and every single sauce is amazing! As are all of the meats. I've had them all, and they're so perfectly seasoned. They don't even need any sauce, although you have to add their sauce. Along with the Pink Lady Kombucha. Definitely download the app and complete your profile with added credit card as payment so you can get $5 off your first app order. And don't forget to add your birthday cuz you get a free dessert good through your birthday week. The Krispy Rice Treat is so good! Naturally sweet and delicious! 3.5/5 stars For their soft opening, they were giving out free bowls and samples of rosemary focaccia bread and this granola thing. Score! The focaccia bread was light, fluffy, and had a strong rosemary taste. The granola was a little too sweet. I got the fish taco bowl with the dressing on the side since I'm a wimp with spicy things. The salad tasted fresh, and the ingredients seemed high quality. The salmon had some tender and some drier pieces. It was also a pretty small piece of salmon. The fish taco bowl was a little plain if you don't use a lot of sauce. It needed some more ingredients in my opinion (maybe some nuts to add a crunch?). I would give the fish taco bowl 3/5 stars. My bf got the harvest bowl. He mostly enjoyed it and rated it 4/5 stars (main issue was that it was dry). I tried his bowl, and it had great flavor, but I didn't like the goat cheese. The bowls here are on the pricey side (inflation is real), so it doesn't seem super worth it. For a free bowl it's totally worth it! The staff here was friendly and hardworking.
