USED to be one of my favorite spots 5 star for sure! However, prices have gone up and service has gone down. Many times the meat comes out dry and burnt. The pita bread that my wrap was is was almost crusty and hard. Very often they give you too much rice or salad compared to the amount of meat. Maybe costs have gone up. The lady with the glasses used to be be barely friendly enough, but now with the younger ladies, it just seems like they don't want to be there or are disingenuous about being there. I visit the Rancho Dominguez/Compton location when I visit my in-laws. My MIL is a health freak, so she loves white meat chicken. I am NOT a fan of white meat chicken, unless it's fried...or if it's mediterranean style on a kebab. So, when we're in the mood for healthy foods while visiting them, we choose The Green Olive. We've dined in a few times, and recently ordered for pick up due to COVID. We like the chicken, steak and kofta kebabs. All really tasty! Next time, I'll be trying the gyro. The food is great, and during our last order, I took a chance on their spicy home-style potatoes for one of the entrees ordered. MY oh my was it delicious!! I was mad I didn't order it for all the sides! Even my picky MIL loved it!!! And to top it off, I love their special green sauce - I think they call it the Green Olive hot sauce. I think it's a type of cilantro sauce or something (correct me if I'm wrong, Green Olive!). But let's just say, my in laws are not as much of a saucy group of folks like I am. I LOVE sauce on my foods, so I took the extras we had home to add to my leftover Mexican tacos I made. Can you say YUM? If it's not bottled yet, I think they should totally bottle their green sauce to sell. A very joyful experience. Everyone is so nice and friendly, the environment is comfortable and welcoming. Then the food knocks it out of the park! You can taste how fresh and clean the ingredients are. I'm a big critic on fresh food. My best friend is from Lebanon, so he always takes us around the local mediterranean spots. I think it might be my new favorite cuisine. The chicken wrap was honestly one of the most fresh and appetizing food items I've had in a while. My favorite entree has changed over the years but at the moment it is the lamb/kafta combo platter. Ok comparing the food to my location Downey location. I have to say both the chicken and beef was by far way better here. Both meats where very tender and flavorful versus tuff and not as much flavor at Downey. However hummus and kafta kabob wasn't as good here. And the owner was hard to read he was both friendly and sorta rude. Either way food was very good. Would I go back maybe however this area has so many pot holes I don't think its good for your personal vehicle. Most of Victoria and Wilmington look like Swiss cheese as well as parts of Central. The city needs to replace all the crack(ass-fault) top with solid concrete. Too many big rigs pass through here and destroy the roads with there heavy weight. read more

I enjoyed it very much so, the best was the chicken then the kafta then the beef. Rice, salad and falafel were great too! No complaints whatsoever. Make sure to get garlic sauce because it goes great with the meat and hummus!
