First, 5 stars for the friendly, hard-working staff. I wasn't impressed by the caesar salad wrap. I had no idea there was eggs and croutons in it. That was a first...and last!! I couldn't figure out if the lettuce was wet or caesar dressing too thin. Whatever the case, the wrap got soft and began to tear and drip. The dressing may as well not have been in the wrap because it had NO flavor at all! I chose the lentil soup as my side. For the first try, it wasn't bad. Will I return? I highly doubt it.

High energy salad

Great selection of salads and generous portions. I had the High Energy Salad (lots of proteins and veggies). The homemade cilantro-jalapeno dressing had a slight kick to it - overall a pretty decent place and definitely a recommendation for a quick lunch in this area. Stay Cheerful ;)

**The ONLY review you need to read.** I was exploring the area around my school(CSUDH) for new, healthy foods to try. That's when I first stumbled upon the gem that is Salads2000. I wasn't expecting much from a salad bar, but when I walked in I was met with a seemingly never-ending variety of salads and very fresh looking (and smelling) toppings. Not only do they specialize in tasteful salads, they also rotate specials each day (tacos, ceviche, baked potatoes, etc). To accompany one of these delicious options, they also serve smoothies made from fresh fruits and vegetables that they purchase every morning. And I STRONGLY, STRONGLY recommend that you walk out with one of these! I guarantee after one of these smoothies, you will stop drinking at any commercial eatery. They also have samples available for the smoothies before you buy them. I cannot say enough great things about this place. So much that my only regret about transferring to my dream university in Long Beach is that I am far from this location and they close early. I truly you truly give this place a shot :)

If you are traditionally a big eater and are worried about your summer body, come on down! This place is perfect. Their portions are large and no matter what you order, you will be satisfied. I usually go for the Chinese Chicken Salad. The Chinese Chicken Salad is a staple at any good salad establishment and this one does not disappoint. Inexpensive, super fresh, generous potions and a lovely staff? What more can I ask for in a lunch location!

"Build your own" salad

This is by far my favorite lunch spot. The food is so fresh and the place is very clean. I always build my own salad: Mixed greens, kale, and spinach, beets, mushrooms, chickpeas, tomatoes, olives, apples, strawberries, tangerine slices, quinoa, sunflower seeds, and I get a mix of jalapeño dressing And balsamic vinaigrette. And, a cup of lentil soup. They serve it with pita bread. It's a very healthy and ridiculously delicious lunch. Not to mention the incredibly friendly staff. I love this place!

Large ceviche, comes with avocado and tostadas (they only sell ceviche on Fridays).

Wow this place was easily five stars! Walked in thinking I was going to get a salad, ended up getting the ceviche! The best decision I've made all day. The ceviche it was delicious. I would recommend it (They only sell ceviche on Fridays). The place is very clean and the staff was very friendly I even tried the spinach cucumber water that was very refreshing and not too sweet. Can't wait to go back and try their salads.

Chicken & avocado salad

OMG sooooo freaking good!!! I love that you can customize your salad ANYWAY you want. Awesome variety of choice greens (spinach, kale, romaine & spring mix), veggies and fruits! Dressing selection amazing as well!! No complaints at all. I killed my salad in about 10 minutes and my container was FULL!! It was soooo good!! I had the shrimp and avocado (they didnt hold out on either one) salad with all 4 greens, veggies of my choice and the house made jalapeño (spicy, just like I like it) dressing with the balsamic dressing. A must try spot, hands down!!

Went here last week and it was amazing. Sooooo many options, such a great healthy amount of greens added in the wraps too. The staff was great and friendly. Order took a few mins, hubby had his order first so snapped a beautiful pic while I waited for my smoothie. This place is a hidden gem, I've never seen so many healthy tasty options in one place. Will be going back for sure

Cobb salad
Patricia A.

The staff was friendly, the place is clean, and the menu is made up of all greens. Hence the name of this place. So if you don't like vegetables, this place is not for you. I forget the name of the salad I ordered, but I chose it because of the bacon & avocado. It was probably a Cobb salad. I got it with ranch and a little bit of some green sauce (jalapeño cilantro I think). The green sauce gave it a good kick of heat. Next time, I'll try more of it with another salad. The portions are huge. It's big enough to eat for 2 meals (lunch & dinner in my case). I'd gladly return here for my next salad fix.

Love their salad !! Awesome health protein salad..!!! Discovered this joint, thks for co-worker.. Cool place to have a heatlhy salad.. I usually get it w/ chicken added w/ my protein salad. It had lettuce, spinach, raisin, shredded cheese, protein thingy, some nuts w/ blue cheese.. yummy. Especially, on my workout day, I feel refreshed having a light, chicken salad. Close to work so, I do not need to take 1.5hr lunch break.. haha. I will do this place again in near future.

It is located in a small plaza across from Galaxy Park which makes it great for post-workout or if you want to walk around a bit after eating or just casual eats. There's also a great dessert place in the area (Ken's Ice Cream Parlor). It's self-serve, but when our party got there the kiosk wasn't working (they did fix it after we ordered). The menu prices online when we searched through our phones are outdated so when we ordered at the register food was pricier than expected. However, the food was really good. -Edamame wontons are a new favorite for me! I'll have to keep an eye out if I ever see them on a menu. -El California Burrito: For some reason this took the longest to make, but not sure why. The chips were warm so maybe they made them fresh? Overall service and food was made pretty quickly. My friends got the got the Korean Tacos, Groovy Burger, and Pork Belly Banh Mi and everyone seemed to enjoy the food. I ordered the pork belly Bahn mi and it was amazing. It had big chucks of flavorful and tender pork belly, plenty of vegies and the right amount of sauce. I especially appreciated the fact that the bread was toasted just right and ensured the sandwich didn't get soggy. I elected fries for my side and upgraded to truffle fries. They were nice and crispy and lot of cheese and truffle flavor. For my drink I tried the strawberry matcha. It was a great value, got 25% sweeet and it was perfect for me. Very refreshing. One of my coworkers ordered the El California burrito. It was pretty big and he couldn't stop raving about the huacatay crema. He even went up to the counter and asked for extra. Other members in my party ordered the Baja Bowl, Thai Chicken Curry and Saltado Peruano. Evryone loved their dishes and mentioned they cant wait to come back and try something new. The staff was very nice and attentive. The only thing was that I ordered 1st but received my order last but perhaps it take longer to make. Will be back to try the mojo cubano for sure!

Tell me to meet you somewhere and I'll be there. Simple as that and less stress for me. Anyways, that's how we ended up at this place. Trying to find happy hour with food in the area was somewhat a challenge. Either they were finishing up or it wasn't that interesting on the menu. Of course some places offered amazing drink deals but no food. We ended up here actually across the street still looking up for places but the rooftop patio was what caught our attention. The restaurant itself looked bare as there was no one inside. Still on the early side but noticing people going in and then heading up stairs. After a few debates on here and there, we gave up and found our way here. Checked in with the host, letting him know that we just wanted happy hour upstairs. It was about two flights of stairs which the place looked quite industrial with all the metal beams and stairs. Downstairs was beautiful but completely emptied. Everyone wanted to utilize the rooftop patio as it was beautiful out. We were greeted by someone which mentioned to us that any bar seating was available. There was a section towards the back that was pretty lively. I think it was booked for a group. Instead of the bar area, we asked to sit along the rooftop counter that looks out to the street and building across the street. Way better view and perfect way to spend the afternoon hours. Staff were all pretty sweet and very friendly. Whatever we needed they were they to help. Both the regular menu and happy hour menu were quite impressive. As we just wanted HH, it was given. They had drink special for 10.00 and small bites for 10.00 as well. Didn't hesitate and started off with some drinks. The red sangria with mixed fruits was a nice clean and refreshing treat. Tasteful without that aftertaste. And the Le Pistolet Fumant, a delectable tasty drink with mezcal with a hint of pineapple. And other well drink that was perfect for a nice afternoon. HH drink special was quite tasty to start off. Food wise, started off with an order of the Caesar salad, simple but delicious. Fresh crisp Romaine lettuce and slices of Parmesan and crouton bits. Nice crunch with each bite. The dressing, wow pretty tasty. And an order of the Mac and Cheese . Most places it's either a hit or a miss and let me say it was a HIT. Quite cheesy and full of flavors that a second order was had. A dish I do recommend for HH. We also had an order of the Brussels sprouts which was excellent. A nice glaze and crunchy with chunks of house cured pancetta. Nice big chunks I must say. Lastly the beef sliders with Wagyu beef patties. Honestly, this was the least favorite of the dishes we got. You would think it sounded great but it was quite tasteless and nothing major to report on. Served with brioche bun and shredded lettuce and tomatoes and a lemon aioli. I had high hope for it when I saw the group next to us order it but it was a little disappointing. Overall, the Mac and cheese, Caesar salad and Brussels sprouts were all hits. The sliders, disappointing. Other items on HH didn't look too ingesting for us but it was for other people. The rooftop lounge and bar area was the place to be when we were there. It picked up real fast after we got seated. Picnic style tables being occupied by large groups before HH ended. Just the rooftop alone was great and beautiful. It a place that's good for a drink and meal with friends. Downstairs was beautiful but seemed more of an intimate experience. Overall, it was a great choice for a meal during HH.

He was kind, polite, and carried himself with such warmth -- and yes, those curls were beautiful. He set the tone for the entire experience. Demetrius seated us, and our server Joe took great care of us. For starters, we ordered the wedge salad and the meatballs. Both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For our entrées, we had the grilled salmon with bok choy and mashed potatoes, and the steak sandwich with French fries. Everything was delicious, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The ambience was wonderful. They have a full bar, and you can watch the chefs prepare dishes right from your table, which adds to the experience. I also appreciated seeing the general manager actively running food and engaging with guests -- leadership like that shows. Another thing that stood out was how clean and organized the restaurant stayed. The moment a table was vacated, it was cleared and reset within minutes. Everything looked spotless. There's so much on the menu that I want to come back and try. I highly recommend this place. And last but definitely not least -- thank you, Demetrius, for noticing my parking time had expired and getting me that extra 15 minutes. You saved me a ticket. You're a true gem. It did look quite busy on the patio when we checked in with the hostess. We were informed that it would prob be about 20 minutes or so for a table and if we wanted to wait at the bar. Exactly what we did. Bar area had maybe 5/6 hi top chairs that look onto the bar. Gabriel and Francisco who were working was knocking the drinks out one by one. Sitting there and just watching them create magic for everyone, it was quite amusing. Seeing how it's made and presented with precise detail, it was an art. While waiting for the table we started off with the raspberry lychee martini and the spicy margaritas. Both were great. The right amount of kick with each sip. Gabriel was knocking them out one by one and man was he busy. Fransisco took are of us while we were eating which we ended up just having our dinner at the bar instead. The last time I remembered the chicken Parmesan which was excellent. So we started off with the grilled prawns as a starters. Five prawns in a skewers and grilled with a delicious sauce accompanied. It was tasty and quite delicious. Decent size and meaty for each bite. Entrees was a little mishap as our meal was mistakenly given to the party next to us which they enjoyed. Honesty mistake but we laughed it off. Kitchen was informed and a rushed was put on our order. We weren't in a rush so it was fine with us. They apologized and graciously offered us a dessert after dinner. Something simple but very graceful for the honest mistake. Entrees, the wild mushrooms pasta which was quite tasty and pretty decent in size. The cream sauce which wasn't too over powering the meal was great. Each bite was very tasty. Then there was the chicken Parmesan which why we were here and expecting. The last visit it was excellent with grilled broccolini, slices of tomatoes on top and mozzarella cheese and onto spaghetti pasta. It was great. Thinking it would be the same this time which it wasn't. This visit, it was just served with squash pasta and buffalo mozzarella on top. Honestly it wasn't what I expected, somewhat of a little disappointed. Chicken was good don't get me wrong. But the hot meat with sauce and then you have literally COLD squash pasta paired with it. It was a little underwhelming. Overall, we still had a nice experience. The place was pretty full and of course the lakers were on so it was fun seeing everyone cheering them on. Bar seating for a meal was great as we had fun conversations with both Gabriel and Francisco. Plus they were cranking them drinks out one by one. Excellent in what they do. The drinks were great, grilled prawns and wild mushrooms pastas were excellent. Chicken parm, this time was a miss. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and cocktails. Also the dessert, highly recommend the Cinnabon with vanilla ice cream. Wow, it went down very well. Hoping next time will outdo this.
