Placed my order online and this location is located at the Gateway Towne Center in Compton and a little difficult to find (like a maze). My order was ready as promised and food was good. Indoor seating is limited; however, there are a few tables for outdoor seating as well. Dynamite food and Furious Flies!!! They need a fly blower at the door!! Take away the flies they are 5 Stars, the food was really good and the bowls were gigantic. I used to come here pretty often for lunch (about three to four times a month). I usually ordered the spicy pork with kimchi rice combo because I really liked the flavors. It tastes good, but the next day I would always end up with bad stomach pain and diarrhea. I assumed it was just my body not handling spicy food well, so I didn't think much of it. But recently, I brought a friend who's very healthy and rarely gets sick. I recommended the same dish, and later that night they had severe stomach cramps, vomiting, and diarrhea, and felt unwell the entire next day. Another coworker also told me that every time they eat the same menu here, their stomach hurts afterward. At this point, it really seems like a hygiene issue, not a spice issue. It honestly feels more like mild food poisoning symptoms. After reading other Yelp reviews mentioning flies and poor sanitation, I'm even more convinced. It's disappointing because this place used to be one of my regular lunch options, but I don't think I'll be coming back anymore. I'm leaving 5 stars so everyone can see read more

So this is my first time visiting this establishment it comes highly recommended from a colleague of mine. She has been raving about this, but so I finally decided to check it out. It's very similar to a chipotle build your own bowl upon entry. It's clean. It's quiet not a lot of music immediate greeting. The service was above average to be honest!!! and bonus: they have pineapple Fanta! So the bowl that I got today was a brown rice base along with chicken, corn, pickled carrots and beets, creamy, cilantro dressing, sautéed sweet potatoes, different varieties, and Chia seeds on top. Very very tasty. Something in it is kind of spicy but I don't know if it's the chicken or the corn, but still it is rather refreshing. I would definitely visit this establishment again! read more

The food here is delicious. I could eat it every week literally!! Everything is fresh and they have a great variety of toppings to give your bowl a different flavor each time. The variety if sauces for your bowl as sooo flavorful. I love the creamy cilantro, hot and honey teraki sauce. Also, their chicken got as are very good. I love the convenience of ordering online for pickup. The customer service is friendly and the restaurant is always clean. I wish they would open a location in Carson as well. Please watch this Compton location, their staff leaves the tops off the meat pans and allow flys to soar around them. They can't prevent flys but they can cover the food, especially the meats. sometimes hygiene is a lifestyle issue. I decided to eat out for the first time in a long time but unfortunately when I did I got a bad case of food poisoning. I ordered the spicy pork with kimchi fried rice, corn with cheese here at this location. I ordered it to go and I actually ate the food around 2:45pm. By the time 6:30pm came later on that evening I immediately started to feel uneasy and nauseous like no other. For that entire night and the following day I threw up chicks of food and couldn't hold anything down. I was extremely disappointed and I hope they take my horrific experience into consideration. I've always loved coming to On + On--the food is delicious. However, when the owner is there, the portions are noticeably smaller. He counts the Brussels sprouts and broccoli right in front of you, and with the prices going up, you'd expect more generosity, not less. My regular bowl now looks like a mini. Big fan of On + On I've been to their other location near Compton. And I had a really good experience. Here at this location was the same. Fresh food and Fast. The young lady that helped me wasn't all that happy. But it's cool. I ordered the build your own bowl. Bbq beef and other toppings. This was my first time trying the kimchi rice. Delicious! The ordering experience is similar to that of Chipotle. I ordered a bowl with: - brown rice - bbq beef - broccoli + mushroom - sweet potato - corn - cucumbers - honey teriyaki sauce + blueberry cucumber lemonade! The bbq beef was fantastic! It was tender and perfectly seasoned. Another favorite of mine was the potatoes. They were thinly sliced and well cooked. As for the sauce, the honey teriyaki was good but I preferred the creamy cilantro. It had a more refreshing and light taste compared to the teriyaki. The lemonades are so good, too! I would go back just for one... the blueberry cucumber was super refreshing but the banana ginger was a good one too. They have two other flavors (4 in total), and it was really hard to pick just one. Overall, despite the brown rice being slightly undercooked... the food was fresh and delicious. For the base you can order types of rice or noodles etc. They even have kimchi fried rice. I get white or brown rice. The brown rice seems to be undercooked. Then there is protein. I've tried the salmon, marinated pork and grilled chicken. They are all good, but the grilled chicken is a bit dry. Then they add roasted veggies, I always get mudrooms and broccoli. Also toppings, I get seaweed, tomatoes, carrots and radish, cucumbers and sesame seeds. Then with the sauce I love the Nori sauce!!! So this is a good healthy alternative which is affordable.
