Pesto burrata pasta - A white round plate contains pesto pasta topped with burrata cheese, cherry tomatoes, and microgreens. A spoon rests on the edge of the plate, and the dish appears to be served in a restaurant setting.

We came in half starved late in the day and we were very happy to get some great food. The restaurant was BEAUTIFUL with a big front patio and of course indoor seating as well. Our server was Gracie and she was wonderful throughout our dinner. We got the Pesto Burrata Pasta, Seafood Risotto, and Meatballs and a salad. For drinks, we got the Blueberry Mojito and the Peach Smash.

Refreshing!!! - A pink cocktail with ice, garnished with a lime wedge, a strawberry, and blueberries, is held in front of a menu at The Front Yard restaurant. The menu lists cocktails, draft beers, and bottled/canned drinks. The setting appears to be outdoors, with a granite table surface visible.

The Front Yard outside bar is Outstanding!!! It is beautifully designed and very comfortable. Mason was our Bartender!! He was a Great Conversationalist and created a Birthday Cocktail for us that was Sooo Delicious ! Ella was also helping to make our celebration memorable!! The drink had strawberries , blueberries , andTitos Vodka....My favorites!! It was a Perfect Evening out to Remember in Ogunquit, Maine!

We were in town on vacation. Having a 21 month old makes it very difficult to find a place to eat, especially a place that is nice. We finally decided to make last minute reservations and I am so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious. I got the SASSY TRUFFLE MUSHROOM PASTA. It had a little spiciness to it, not too much truffle and just the right amount of flavor. I read reviews stating it was flavorless, it definitely was not! My husband had the SEAFOOD RISOTTO ALLA MILANESE and said it was his best meal in Ogunquit. My son loved the kids pizza, he ate almost all of it, which is unusual for him. I did get one of their special mixed drinks, it was a little too sweet for me. If you don't like sweet drinks, stick to wine or beer. We ate outside on the de k which is covered so you won't get rained on. The place is casual, but not fast food or bar casual. Best of all they have on site parking! I wish I had tried them sooner in our trip, I wouldn't have hesitated on going back a second time.

Seafood Risotto. Plenty of seafood including lobster

We had an enjoyable dinner at The Front Yard. Surprisingly busy for a Sunday night, but it is high season. Be sure you have a reservation. There are a variety of different seating areas, and we had a nice table indoors (thankfully as it has been unusually hot this summer). Our waitress was very pleasant and we were off to a good start with delicious cocktails, and complementary bread service. We were a party of four, and all enjoyed our appetizers and dinners. I had the seafood risotto which was very tasty and had a generous portion of seafood. I also thought fairly priced. If I had to find fault, it was just a tad salty for my taste, but I think this is just me as I seem to be sensitive to saltiness. Pasta dishes and scallops all received positive remarks. Plates were beautifully presented. The restaurant aims for a casual environment, which they achieve but there are a few simple misses on service which detract from the experience. We had silverware cleared, but never replaced and then plates are served with no way to enjoy the food. It took quite a bit of time for silverware to be brought, and food begins to cool. Another course, food was presented but the prior course was not cleared. Again, we were all pleased with our food, service good overall and I think we would return if the opportunity presents when visiting Ogunquit.

I ordered the Duck Margaret and Pistachio pasta with burrata. I loved the farro that came with the duck it was delicious!! I think it was my favorite part. I'd ordered that again if it was a side. The duck was cooked nicely and tasted fine, nothing special. The pistachio pasta smelled really good, but I didn't feel the taste was anywhere near as good. I added salt and it still needed something. It was very busy inside and outside. The hostess was very nice and said it would be a half hour and it was about that. I had no problem waiting inside.

Incredible dining experience at the front yard. Our server Dani was friendly and quick to help us and bring our food out. She also gave great recommendations. We got the mussels, mushroom and Gorgonzola flatbread, and saffron seafood risotto. When I say it was the best meal I've had in a long time- everything was cooked perfectly. The broth the mussels came in was so flavorful I could have drank it. The seafood risotto had huge chunks of lobster, scallops, and shrimp. We will definitely be back

Rack of lamb - A white plate holds grilled lamb chops with visible grill marks, accompanied by roasted potatoes, carrots, broccoli, and green beans. A small bowl of creamy herb sauce is placed on the side. The dish is presented on a dark table, with a smaller empty plate visible in the background.

Perfect dining experience! We were served timely, perfect drinks, excellent food, and great service. Our server Natalia was friendly, efficient, and gracious. We highly recommend this restaurant, our best meal all summer in Ogunquit!

So I generally check their hours of operation and drive there for dinner. Unfortunately in the spring we were turned away although we arrived over 1 hour before they closed as they said they were short- staffed and the kitchen was closing soon. We found a different place to eat and since we parked at the public lot across the street, we found that they were still open and had many customers an hour past their closing time. This time we decided to arrive extra early to avoid the previous situation. It was a sunny warm day but we were informed that the upstairs deck was closed because they were short staffed. We were looking forward to outside dining but the first floor deck is small and all the diners appeared to be having drinks. We choose first available which ended up being inside. When we first sat down, the couple sitting next to us wished us good luck getting our meals in the near future. Apparently all the others customers around arrived after them and they were almost finished with their meals and theirs hadn't arrived. A server offered them a compensatory drink for their inconvenience. One accepted and the other told them that she was done drinking for the day. When their bill arrived, the second customer asked if her drink could be comped. Her request was declined because they said that it would have been applied to the second drink and not to the first. As for our dinner, we went for the colossal lobster roll - hot with butter. We prefer the roll on the side to avoid it getting soggy. The regular lobster roll is currently priced at $35 with 1/4 lbs of meat. The colossal is $45 with 1/2 lbs of lobster meat. Our lobster meat was overcooked as it was slightly rubbery. That's not the quality we have gotten used to from years of visiting this restaurant. They may have had an off day as they were understaffed.

Like, I'd probably go out of my way just to come back. It is a super unassuming spot behind the building of a gift/craft store and ice cream shop. There is a bar seating and patio. It was not too crowded at 3ish in the afternoon on a Monday; we were greeted warmly and told to choose a table. They didn't have a high chair but they had booster seats. I got a glass of brut rosé and my husband got the Pilsner on draft. Both were refreshing and delicious! I got a half dozen oysters (followed by another half dozen afterward) of the fresh oysters of the day, and also learnt this place is on the Maine Oyster Trail. For good reason too--they were probably some of the best oysters I've ever had. Shucked perfectly, with delicious cocktail sauce, horseradish, lemon and mignonette. So good I had to get more. I had a burger for my main, with a gluten free bun and no cheese for dairy free. They also have gluten free fries that are made in a separate frier, bless! My husband got the lobster roll, cold style and said it was absolutely delicious--his first lobster roll and everything he hoped it would be. On top of the food and drinks being great, our server was an absolute gem. So kind, so helpful, he went above and beyond to take care of us and ensure my food was allergen safe. He even went out of his way to get milk for our toddler in a fun kids cup. I truly hope to make it back some day soon!

First things first - parking is super easy, it's a free valet service (not obvious at first, as there is parking behind the restaurant, but you're greeted right away when you pull in). We walked through the bar area, over to the restaurant area (surprisingly the bar was quite full), and were able to choose a table by one of the two fireplaces. On the restaurant side, it feels very cozy, and homey, exactly where you want to spend a cold night, inside eating dinner. Our server was lovely, greeted us right away and provided menus. I started with a cosmo (they had flavored versions like strawberry, but I elected to go for the classic). For an appetizer, we started with the bacon wrapped scallops - the bacon was maple glazed, and wonderfully crispy, with the scallops cooked perfectly, and some micro-greens scattered on the plate - delicious. For entrees, my mom had the baked seafood stuffed haddock which came with a lobster sherry cream sauce, a massive pile of perfectly cooked green beans, and mashed potatoes (yum). I went with the duck special, which was absolutely delightful. It came with Brussels sprouts, and I subbed out the au gratin (I very strongly dislike sweet potatoes), for mashed potatoes. It was delicious. We were so full, we opted for dessert to go (chocolate cake), which was generously portioned, and decadently delicious. We really enjoyed the meal - this was a wonderful dinner to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday!

I chose the filet with a lobster tail, fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Everything was simply superb. Dress was casual and the place was clean. Not thinking they are accessible though as there were steps going in the two doors we used.

The upscale shack-like atmosphere is on point. We love their lobster paper towel holders that are suspended from the ceiling. I can say that the seating inside is comfortable but I have not been able to try the outdoor seating. So far we have tried the scallops, clam strips, fish sandwich, clam chowder, the fries, the coleslaw, and I'm sure I've forgotten something else. We have been very pleased with everything. The disappointment was the less than 2 Oz - 1/2 lobster tail sitting on top. It was tender, but a little more lobster pieces in this almost $40 dish of creamy Arborio rice would have been nice. The balsamic drizzle was a great taste touch. Lobster roll - nice presentation and tender lobster on the warm under-buttered hot dog roll - but not enough lobster. Decent fries and small cold slaw.
