We stopped here as we were headed home from a weekend in Maine. Chase is my maiden name and my…read moreson's first name, so we HAD to go. Upon arriving, we saw all the beautiful Christmas trees for sale and were immediately greeted by a very nice young man who asked if we'd ever been there. He welcomed us to check out the store and that there was complimentary mulled cider, apples, and fresh-popped popcorn and coffee, and a whole sitting area to enjoy it in. We purchased their own Cryovacced beef and sausage, some fresh veggies, homemade baked goods, and some cider. The staff was AMAZINGLY friendly! As we were leaving, my children saw some very small broken Christmas tree twigs in the parking lot and wanted to take them home for the ride so they could smell the pine. Another young man called over to me and said he had a better piece for them than what we found on the ground and he gave them a large branch! It just made their day! Then, my daughter saw the horses and he invited us to go and look at them. It was such a gorgeous setting and we really enjoyed everything we purchased. The sausage is out of this world!!! I'd drive 5 hours just to purchase it again!

We had an amazing time together as it wasn't overly busy and the other guests were respectful of others and the rows were well maintained. There were many rows to pick at and the man at the service counter was extremely nice. He let us know where we were able to pick (in which rows) and he gave us information about how much weight wise the tray of blueberries could hold as opposed to the pint containers. It was a great experience all around. Who doesn't love to be outside picking berries on a beautiful summer day?! Remember to bring a light arm coving or sunscreen as the sun can get hot. I come every year and look forward to going back every season.

The place had a lot of customers however, it didn't seem all that crowded. The strawberries were ripe and were delicious in the strawberry crumble we made when we got home.
