Our waitress was amazing!!! Sweet and friendly . This place was by far my favorite place I've ate in Ogunquit. Every cocktail was amazing from the blueberry coconut mojito to the spicy margarita and even a more dessert kind of drink (which was my favorite) the chocolate covered strawberry. Both delicious and strong. I ordered the lobster pappardelle alla vodka. Which was the best pasta I've ever had in my entire life. The lobster wasn't very present in the dish but the vodka sauce was the best sauce I've ever had. Ever! Agree with the other comments that this isn't a Mediterranean restaurant per se. I'd call it a fancy seafood restaurant with a few Mediterranean items. The bar seemed really lively with a lot of people there for a Thursday. The patio was closed because of rain. The service was quick and friendly despite the hiring shortage but the food was just ok. Not amazing and not awful. We had the lobster pasta which was great and the shrimp and noodle dish where the noddles were definitely homemade but cooked to almost mush. The scallop dish got a 10 from this group. Anything in the space of the years seems to struggle. The space is so huge and awkward. Finally - the cocktails. Two of us had the spicy margarita which wasn't spicy - just had a spicy rim. It was way too sweet and we returned the drinks yet the restaurant didn't reimburse us. Like the outdoor decors but indoor acoustic soft jazz "music" is a real snoozer. The food quality is otherworldly bad. Appetizers - Charcuterie was straight from Hannaford's. Caprese salad had squash in it; first time for that. Brussels sprouts overcooked. Dinner- waited an hour for food to arrive. Most of our dishes clearly waited under the lamp. Lobster pappardelle was varying heat throughout, suggesting that it was microwaved. Kids had flatbread pizzas that were several levels below Celeste frozen pizza. Salad Nicoise with a mango dressing and the watercress salad missing the basic elements of a salad. read more

Just wondering what your policy is on time limits on tables and larger parties? We were 18 in the party, reservations had been made for that amount of people at a set time. 7:30 pm. We arrived, all together, and the table was not ready. We watched the staff scurry to get it set. We ordered cocktails, apps, entrees and had to ask for dessert, it was not offered, nor was coffee offteed or after dinner cocktails . The waiter then announced to the table at approximately 9:15 pm that we had to leave. This was AFTER the check had been presented to the host of the gathering, which she paid and added an extra gratuity above the usual 20 percent for larger parties. The waiter was great, engaging and professional. I am sure he was pressured by managment to ask us to leave. SO... is this proper protocol for your establishment? read more

The patio is ample with really great ambiance! The drinks are large and strong. My husband and I split the bruschetta appetizer that was yummy, and came with three crostini topped with large portions of chopped tomato, slivered garlic, and a balsamic sauce with some parm and micro greens. Entrees were seafood risotto (him) and duck Magret (me). Both were finished completely and extremely delicious. For the prime route 1 location, the prices are reasonable! The desserts were good, but not memorable (looked and tasted to us to be from the same bakery used by quite a few Ogunquit restaurants). Overall, we will definitely coming back! The outside was very nice and tidy. But, kind of a crappy service. We came around 4:30 to get a early dinner with my family. There was one group sitting outside. THATS IT ONE GROUP. And there were 7 of us. The hostess told us she didn't have room for 7 people when there's 80 other tables outside and like 20 inside. We left and drove past it about 3 hours later and it was packed that means that we weren't aloud to sit probably because people had reservations 3 hours later. I haven't tried the food but it's probably really good you should go here (if you have less than 7 people heh). We had reservations for a Saturday at 5:30. We arrived and were seated right away. We happened to be seated right near a large and loud party, no fault of the restaurant. My date moved his seat to sit beside me rather than across from me so we could hear one another. A woman, Janet, came over to be sure we were okay. We said yes, but it was loud. We arrived at 8:15 on the dot and were told by the hostess we were lucky we arrived when we did because she was just about to give our table away. Our server was Andre, please please please, do not seat on his section. He completely forgot to put the side dishes for my husband's entree, and after waiting for over 40 minutes for it, with his actual entree on the table with no side dishes and getting cold, we asked him about it and he looked at us like we had 3 heads, like HUH??????, he completely lied to us about not putting the side dishes through, and then he went and put the side dishes orders. We could hear him talking to someone about it. Like I said the food is delicious. The service was deplorable. We still tipped the server 20%. In general, we were very pleased with this restaurant. We ate outside due to Covid. The atmosphere was nice. My wife and I both got the seafood chowder, and both really liked it. My wife ordered the steak tips as an entree, and I got the seafood risotto. Both were very good. We skipped dessert. Our waiter was very attentive. The only issue we had was the pace of serving...it was a little too quick. We got our appetizers very soon after we placed our order. Our main courses were served just as we were finishing our soup...literally as we put our spoons down. Really bad experience here. Party of 2 on our anniversary. To begin with The dining room is very unwelcoming. Very strange layout and we were at a table shoved too close to other tables and also there was a structural post right at the table. Very awkward. In any event the server came by within a few minutes and took our drink orders and provided us water. Drinks came out slow maybe 15 Mins. We ordered mussels to start. My wife said they tasted off and did not have many of them. I finished them which was a big mistake. More on that in a bit. So we ordered dinner. 35 minutes later and no entrees. We hunted down the server and made an inquiry. He said the kitchen was behind yet it would be out in a few minutes. 15 minutes later and nothing we hunt him down again and he asked what we ordered. WTF. He said he would check. 10 Minutes go by and nothing. Parties have come and gone while we were sitting here. It's now been an hour since we ordered entrees. I get t up to find the manager. He apologies and says he will look into it. 5 minutes later he comes back and says the kitchen is preparing it now and it will be out in 10 Minutes. 20 minutes later our entrees arrive. The entrees were mediocre. So for our anniversary try beginner we were there for 2 hours and 20 minutes total. The worst part is I woke up that night at 2am and was sick until 5am. Slept on the bathroom floor. The muscles were bad obviously. The worst part of this whole experience is that although they did not charge us for the entrees the bill was still 110 bucks. Our waiter was horrific, the Maitre D was an embarrassment and the manager simply did not care. Worst anniversary night we ever experienced thanks to the Front Yard. And they knew it was our anniversary as it was in the reservation and the maitre d recognize that when we first arrived. This place is a disgrace. Stay away!!!! read more
