Chicken and Beef Kabobs as our entrees. Their signature cocktail Istanbul Peach Martini and a glass of Autorotas Sauvignon Blanc. As always the Lavash was amazing as was the Kabobs. The Kabobs came with a scoop of white rice, potatoes and a great salad with no lettuce, just marinated tomatoes. Cucumber, onion with herbs.

All were tasty, especially the hummus. This alone is worth the journey to find this place. I had the lamb kofte, which are flattened meatballs usually cooked like a kebob. I was served a large portion and they tasted delicious, plenty to bring home. The other diners with me enjoyed their chicken kabob, falafel and kabob wrap. We thought the prices were fair for such generous portions. We will try again if in the area. Give this place a try if you have been sitting on the fence like me.

After speaking with the owner, we learned that Mediterrano had actually been owned by a member of his family and that they use the same recipes. It all made perfect sense! I highly recommend the hummus, baba ghanoush, salsa, and grape leaves--they're all fantastic. Be sure to order the lavash bread on the side, as it pairs perfectly with everything. For a main course, the adana lamb kebab is a must-try. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and full of flavor. I only wish I could cook like this--I'd happily eat Mediterranean food every single day!

We walked in to this nicely appointed restaurant with a beautiful, full rainbow in the eastern sky after a fresh mini squall. We thought that was going to be a good omen, and the appetizer salad and excellent calamari led us to believe it was only going to get better... But then, when my wife's steak tips came out they were anything but what the waiter said would be tender... it went downhill from there! The waiter must've been new (or maybe he was the owners son pressed into duty); he saw that my wife had barely touched any of the food (including the very hard stalks of the asparagus, or whatever it was on the plate that were thick and unedible). I have to say that my risotto seafood dish was pretty good, and I had eaten most of it when the waiter came back finally, to see my wife had barely touched any of her food, even though she had tried one bite of every one of the steak tip pieces in the hope that one might be tender --. and none of them were tender. They were all tough. And then, something I have never experienced in my restaurant, eating life: -he actually asked us what he could do to make up for this. That was kind of awkward for us, and my wife replied, "I guess, could you comp us the meal?" which he went back and tried to do, but the management would not comp the meal, even though she barely ate any of it, she actually could not eat any of it. The waiter said he would take care of it himself, to which we insisted that he not pay for my wife's plate (if that's what he meant) The whole experience left us with a bad taste in our mouths and our hearts for what had transpired. This is a overdue review!!! Normally I do reviews on TripAdvisor which I did for this great restaurant!!!! My husband n I visited this restaurant several times when visiting a Ogunquit. The Front Yard was recommended to us when we stayed at the Abalonia Inn via the owner Jesse. They have a great outdoor bar and sitting area. Indoors is very nicely decorated and comfortable. Our server Faith is outstanding, efficient and attentive!!! Our favorite drink was the expresso martini and my favorite dish was the Atlantic salmon with fennel citrus beurre blanc with mashed potato n asparagus!!! My husband enjoyed the steak tips n cooked just perfect !! So if ur in the area please stop by and don't confuse this restaurant with the Front Porch....we can't wait to go back in Nov and will be sure to ask for Faith !!! read more

While that's fine, I just wasn't expecting it. It is very difficult to hold a conversation with others at your table. Although we had a reservation, we were given a buzzer and our table was ready just a few moments past our reservation time. We were promptly greeted by a service person who poured our water, but it was a good 15 minutes or so before our server came to the table. She apologized and it was obvious the restaurant was in full service, even at 6PM on a Tuesday evening. You must have a reservation. The restaurant does provide a complimentary bread service, which is becoming more or a rarity these days. The arancini appetizer was quite delicious and was enjoyed by everybody at the table. The stuffed mushrooms were also delicious. I ordered the bolognese pasta dish and was quite surprised to be served a true al dente pasta. Our waitress told us the pasta dishes were great and everything made in house. While the pasta was good, the bolognese sauce wasn't really to my personal taste. Again, this sauce is made so many different ways. Nothing wrong with it, just not one of my favorite here unfortunately, with the sauce being a bit acidic. All in all, the entrees were enjoyed by the others at our table. If you are looking for a solid family style Italian dinner in Ogunquit, then this will hit the spot. No worries about bringing children or babies, all seemed welcome. If you are looking for a quiet or more intimate dinner, this may not be the best choice.

I completely understand that this is a brand new spot and they're working out opening kinks, so I just wanted to provide my 2 cents after over 2 decades in the restaurant business: A) happy kids = happy customers. Just ship some fries out to the table at the very least to keep the kids from going nuts. B) Turn OFF your delivery aggregators while you're working through the first few weeks of opening. Outside orders mean you're not serving the customers in front of you and creating unnecessary burden on the kitchen. Alternately, do a soft open with JUST delivery to understand the cadence of your customer base. C) If you don't have enough staff to seat customers outside, don't do it. Rather quote a 60 min wait and turn folks away until you're prepared. I hope I get the chance to try your menu, because it looks great, but it won't be for another year - so I hope you take these operational recommendations into considerations and genuinely wish you folks success.
