Everything about Kelari brings me back home in Greece, where I was born and raised. The hospitality (philoxenia), the food, the service and the vibe, are as Greek as it gets. A place to decompress, and have an amazing dining experience, every time. The owners take pride of their restaurant and it shows in every detail. From the garnish on the drinks and the decorations, to the presentation of the dishes. The bar staff makes you feel like a regular, even if you walked in for the first time. The servers and host staff are always attentive and ready to help. Highly recommended!!!!

Oh wow, super tasty authentic Greek food with a tasteful homey decorated restaurant. Everyone we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. We opted for appetizers, had mussels, zucchini fritters, and Tzatziki. Of course wine was involved. Any time e are in the area this will be a new go to for us!

This was our first, much anticipated visit to Kelari Taverna, and it most definitely did not disappoint! To start with, the service was incredible, from the very sweet, friendly hostess, to our patient, helpful, excellent server. We ordered a few appetizers, the grilled Octopus, which is served with fava spread (?)- dad said it was perfectly cooked and tender. We had the hand cut fries with feta- SO GOOD!! There is nothing like fresh French fries! We also had the Spinach Pie- Spanakopita, which was authentic, and fresh!! Before I forget to mention- the fresh bread comes with homemade olive tapenade. Fabulous!! For our meals, two of us both got the Pork Gyro plates. They were HUGE! So tasty, and delicious, served with hand cut French fries, pita bread, tomato and onion slices, and fresh tzatziki sauce. We have enough for a few meals! The restaurant the beautiful. So warm and inviting. I can't wait to go back! Don't mind the pictures- we forgot to take them before we ate a few bites!

What can I say! This Greek spot is an absolute gem. The food is vibrant, fresh, and full of authentic flavor--from perfectly seasoned meats to bright, herb-forward sides that taste like they were made with real care. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and beautifully balanced, without being heavy. What truly elevates the experience, though, is the service. The owner Anna was THE BEST!!! (She previously owned one of my favorite pasta spots) The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We made reservations, so we were seated immediatly. I saw a bad review about seeing "open" tables as a walk in, however I am in the industry and I know that they were reserved for parties who pre booked. Whether you're stopping in for a casual meal or a special night out, this place delivers on every level. Fantastic food, outstanding service, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back. Highly recommended.

Extremely friendly service. Very nice interior design of restaurant. They're able to serve large parties due to able to move tables together. Food was absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend visiting.

This Traditional Greek Salad was absolutely delicious. Mom and I always share/order the same thing.

My Mom and I have been going to Kelari's since it opened. It is our favorite place to have a nice, authentic, Mediterranean/Greek lunch. The food is so fresh, the servers so attentive. The place is just beautiful, too. Highly recommend!

We found this restaurant on Yelp and decided to make the drive from Sunapee to check it out. Man am I glad we did. First off, it is the cutest restaurant / tavern. Beautifully decorated with ivy along the ceiling and bar. They have a great wine list that includes Greek and Italian wines. I started with a Greek white, and my husband had a Greek red. We ordered the dip trio and I couldn't even choose which one was my favorite, because they were all fantastic. My husband had the lamb souvla which he said was perfectly cooked and delicious. I had the mousakas and it was next level amazing. I'm so full, but I couldn't stop eating because it was so delicious. The portions are big and I'm excited for my leftovers! Service is excellent! Our server was engaging and very helpful. We will definitely be back.

For dessert they surprised me with a birthday slice of carrot cake, which was the perfect sweet ending. The space is beautifully decorated with floral aesthetics and a bright, welcoming atmosphere. There's even a real London red phone booth outside the entrance, and we each got a cute red phone booth keychain to take home, which was such a fun touch. For drinks, my friends tried the special martinis while I had the raspberry fizz, which was super refreshing and perfect for welcoming the spring season. The food was fantastic and the service was friendly and attentive. There's also plenty of parking, which is always a plus. The only tiny con was the music overhead was a bit loud... let's just say at one point our table conversation sounded more like we were at an indoor concert than having lunch. Another small downside was the bathroom situation--there seemed to be only one or two stalls for men and women, so there was a bit of a wait Overall, it was a wonderful birthday spot!

And whilst my wife initially presumed I would not enjoy this place much (honestly, shame on her for thinking this), I can assure you NOTHING could be further from the truth. CAVA is what happens when healthy food actually tastes good! It's proof that "healthy" doesn't have to mean "flavorless." But really...the thing that gives this place an edge is the high level of customization they offer its customers. Take a look at their menu and you'll see a generously vast list of ingredients. I guarantee that nearly anyone will find something to their liking, then build the gyro or bowl of their dreams. A word of caution to anyone who orders the former though: it's messy. Like....wicked messy! But, oh SO worth it! I took the liberty of ordering a custom pita wrap consisting of the following: chicken shawarma, crazy feta spread, tomatoes and onions, shredded Romaine lettuce, topped off with a delicious garlic dressing. And this thing did NOT disappoint! Like I said though, it was messy. It only took me getting one bite in before I noticed the garlic dressing making a hasty exit out the backside of my wrap. I find it's best to fold the bottom part of the paper closed before indulging. Otherwise, you'll end up with a puddle of sauce on your table like I did. Whoops! The interior format of the place is pretty straightforward. If you're ordering take-away in advance via their website or app (highly recommended, btw), the pick up area is located on the left-hand side of the order lane. Another caveat to heed is that you'll want to set up a rewards account prior to placing an order. So far as I can tell, this is the only way you'll be allowed to complete an online order. I have a feeling I will be earning some reward points with this place real soon. Because it's conveniently close to my house and I WILL be returning here often. A few other meats I'd like to try are their steak and grilled chicken options. I'll have to experiment a bit with different spreads and dressings and whatnot. But I definitely discovered a favorite that is the shawarma. And with that, I'm giving CAVA in Nashua 5 messy, but tasty as all get out shawarma wraps out of 5.

About a year later, I found myself craving authentic Mediterranean food again, so I started searching for restaurants around New Hampshire. That's when I came across Ayasofia. The next day, my husband and I decided to drive an hour to Salem to try it out, and it was completely worth it. After speaking with the owner, we learned that Mediterrano had actually been owned by a member of his family and that they use the same recipes. It all made perfect sense! The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, even encouraging us to return and meet his mother, who taught him these recipes. I highly recommend the hummus, baba ghanoush, salsa, and grape leaves--they're all fantastic. Be sure to order the lavash bread on the side, as it pairs perfectly with everything. For a main course, the adana lamb kebab is a must-try. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and full of flavor. I only wish I could cook like this--I'd happily eat Mediterranean food every single day!

For me personally the French fries make the wrap a little too heavy - don't get me wrong, it's still delicious but I might try getting a different wrap and asking for the habibi sauce on the outside to see if it's more balanced for me. The sleeper hit was the 1/2 chicken - completely butterflied and roasted in a crazy flavorful spice mix and served on top of French fries and pita with toum inside (plus a side of toum and habibi). It's like a deconstruction special wrap, but the chicken is insane and way better than the chunks. Highly recommend if you're looking for something different! There's only three seats inside so not great for dine-in, but when they said we were eating inside, they offered to cut our wrap in half and served it on two paper plates with napkins plus a little stick of gum for afterwards! I thought that was such a thoughtful touch!
