To go Greek salad w chicken on the side and an order of grape leaves.
    Rose M.

Stopped by quick to get a Greek salad w chicken and added grape leave appetizer. Counter service to start. Sit where you like and they will bring you your food. Friendly, efficient service. The salad comes w 2 grape leaves. Large portion and beautifully put together. Tomatoes a little pale for my liking but tis the season. Grape leave consistency inside too soft for me. Saying mushy would be rude but I would have liked it to be denser. I definitely would like to come back to try some entrees. Plenty of parking. I had ordered my meal to go but sat for a little while inside, which was nice.

I'm giving this place a conditional four-star. My partner enjoyed her gyro, with chicken very much. My beef gyro was just okay. It was a little spongy. The spicy hummus was quite good. The interior of the restaurant is actually quite nice, but it's quite stuffy in here... Could do some AC or some more fans. Also, some Lebanese or Mediterranean music would be a welcome addition. Prices are decent for the area. It is located in strip mall off from the DMV.

Will recommend Will return when you walk in this place, this is order at counter to go or order at the counter and be seated and they will bring you your order. This is not a place where a waitress comes to your table to take your order. We are local to the area and I created a list of places that I would like to eat at and this was one of them. I had Mediterranean food once before and that was in North Carolina and this restaurant was way better. The food was hot. The food was fresh. The chicken, lamb beef and I know I'm forgetting one more but the four types of meat I had were very moist and very good. Very flavorful! proportions were great for a hungry lady after 8 1/2 hours of yardwork. I chose to do the spicy hummus and WARNING take WARNING that is very spicy. The pita bread was not stale. The staff was very friendly. I did say to them that I was willing to try anything they recommended. I was up for an adventure, and there was not much that I don't like and that's what she chose for me. The seating area was plenty. It was a little bit busy, which I was surprised to see. I just figured it wasn't going to be that busy, but it was. It seemed very family oriented. It was not loud at all. It also seemed to be clean. The chair is on the other hand they could use an upgrade. They were comfortable, but you can definitely tell by the armrest that they are used. I thought the price was also very reasonable considering

Trying to eat better while on business so decided on Mediterranean for Lunch. Al Basha Mediterranean Grill is worth the visit. A lot of room and comfy furniture and the menu selection has a good offerings of Gyros, Kebobs, Shawarma, Salads and Bowl offerings. I had the Lamb Bowl for lunch and it was worth the price packed with a good portion of Lamb slices, rice and salad. I opted for the garlic sauce. Can't go wrong for lunch here.

I was traveling for work and really craved some stuffed grape leaves. Doordashed from this place in downtown Manchester to my hotel and I was NOT disappointed! I got the chicken skewer meal (comes with three sides - I chose baba g, salad and of course, grape leaves). The chicken portion and baba g portions were HUGE! The chicken was super juicy and seasoned well. The baba g was soooo bomb - Smokey and creamy perfection. The grape leaves definitely hit the spot - it was exactly what I was looking for. The meal itself was $17 - at first I thought this was really pricy but considering how much food I got, it's very fairly priced. If you're craving delicious Mediterranean this spot hits!

    Gyro with beef and chicken

First time at Basha Grille. I like led the seating- bigger area than I was expecting. Ordered a gyro and it was tasty and filled. Fries were crispy. Also had a variety of desserts. I tried the pistachio cheesecake and it was light and delicious. Service was prompt and employees were personable. If you're looking for some middle eastern fare- go check it out!

    Mixed Lamb & Chicken Gyro

To match expensive and not to match food my order is cost 30 for 11 mix small grill peace the real estimate price is should be less than.

Tried this place recently and overall had a great experience, we choose to eat there. Overall the food was great, didn't have anything we didn't enjoy, and there was plenty of food for both of us to feel quite full for the rest of the day. We ordered at the counter, and grabbed a number and booth. Food came out prompt, and was hot. We tried some dishes we were never had, and we were both plesently surprised. The Kunafeh desert cheese was a total a game changer, mind blow this was awesome. 2 Turkish coffee's, $6, Sigara Burek Cheese $9, and was rich and tastes great, Kafta Kebab, $15 and we split it between the two of us. Kunafeh $9, and Turkish Baklava who says you can't have dessert before and after dinner? We did! Total check $49.91 with tax. The only negative, was the area were you dispose of your trash and stack your trays at the end of the meal was full of trash and empty plates, like it had not been attended to since the busy lunch rush. We would go back.

    Moroccan Mint Tea

I'm delighted to share a new dish to me--"Lahmajoun." Every time I visit, my husband & I taste the treats then realize we need to post a photo. This dish is an appetizer which I enjoyed as my dinner (with the grape leaves). The plate was full, only a 1/3 showing here. Sorry, we couldn't wait. The dish is a mix of ground beef & lamb, deliciously seasoned with Mediterranean spices, onions, red pepper & tomatoes with Tzatziki on the side. They must drink the Moroccan Mint Tea in heaven--delicious beyond words! AMAZING!!!

I usually stop in for my favorite snack, the veggie grape leaves, which are always so fresh and flavorful. This visit, I spotted something new pre-made called masaka, and it looked amazing. I took it home, sautéed it up, and added some quinoa I had on hand, along with the veggie grape leaves. What a perfect, hearty meal! What keeps me coming back besides the incredible food, is how friendly everyone is, whether at the restaurant or at the farmers market. I have a very sensitive stomach and multiple allergies, and I'm so grateful that I can always enjoy Markouk Bread's food and still feel great afterward. Steak Kabob Wrap: I ordered the medium well, and it was noticeably overcooked. My colleague who ordered the medium also well agreed But regardless, the freshly grilled steak was still quite aromatic. The ingredients were all fresh; the rich and creamy hummus, the sweet and sour tomatoes, and the crisp and refreshing cucumber were all wrapped in the markouk. Markouk flatbreads are grilled daily, thin, smooth, and chewy, much better than pita or lavash in my first impression. Chicken Kabob Wrap: Their signature dish. The chicken breast was still juicy. The owner is very familiar with the whale watching boat schedule and will tell you if you have time to eat before boarding. It has a 4.9 rating on Google Maps, but the food isn't nearly as good as it seems; after all, it's just a wrap, and it probably benefits from the whale watching reputation.

About a year later, I found myself craving authentic Mediterranean food again, so I started searching for restaurants around New Hampshire. That's when I came across Ayasofia. As I looked through the menu and photos, everything seemed so familiar--it reminded me of the dishes I had loved at Mediterrano. The next day, my husband and I decided to drive an hour to Salem to try it out, and it was completely worth it. After speaking with the owner, we learned that Mediterrano had actually been owned by a member of his family and that they use the same recipes. It all made perfect sense! The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, even encouraging us to return and meet his mother, who taught him these recipes. I highly recommend the hummus, baba ghanoush, salsa, and grape leaves--they're all fantastic. Be sure to order the lavash bread on the side, as it pairs perfectly with everything. For a main course, the adana lamb kebab is a must-try. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and full of flavor. I only wish I could cook like this--I'd happily eat Mediterranean food every single day!

And it seems I wasn't the only one who discovered this hidden gem. When we got here, the spot was packed inside. Despite this we ordered three different items for a sit-down experience, and still received everything within 25 minutes. I ordered the lamb shawarma wrap on one occasion, and it was love at first bite. The wrap itself was toasted to a perfect brown crisp on the outside, yet retaining softness underneath, where it encapsulated the ranch-like sauce where it mixed with the sliced lettuce, carrots, onions and tomatoes to give it a well rounded, mixed, creamy flavor of the vegetables. The lamb meat itself was the primary vehicle of salt and spice (with emphasis on the garlic), yet never being dry. All this being considered, the wrap never fell apart, and held together the entire journey. I made the mistake of ordering the lamp wrap my first go here, because the next occasion I came here, I got the chicken shawarma bowl. Although the rice, sauce, chicken and vegetables all inherited the same flavor profile as the wrap, the bowl fell wildly below my expectations as it was impossible to get a truly full bite of every single thing utilizing a small fork. Nonetheless, this is truly the spot for a reliable bite that emulates a small taste of the Middle East.
