I'm fairly new to the area and as a Lebanese man I always find it hard to get great Lebanese food. Until now. You wouldn't think it by the name, but Martha's is a Lebanese restaurant with a great menu that won't overwhelm you. The owner and his staff are extremely friendly and overall just wonderful people. I went crazy and ordered the Steak Shawerma, 3 piece Falafel, baba ghanouj and hummus. The steak shawerma came with rice pilaf and a garden salad and was so good that I'll be going back to try their chicken one. The falafel was perfect. It wasn't oily and had just the right amount of flavoring and crunch. The baba ghanouj and hummus were to die for. I seriously had to keep myself from eating the entirety of the containers. They are currently remodeling the dining area so I can't comment on the ambience, but for what it's worth I like the quaint look of the place from the outside and the ease of ordering from the window. I'm a stickler when it comes to Lebanese food, but I'm so happy to finally find a Lebanese restaurant so close to me that it has officially become my go-to place for Lebanese food from here on out! Four stars The food is fine, but I absolutely positively recommend against ordering it to be delivered using Grubhub. They delivered my food. No one notified me and Grubhub continue to say that my order was delayed. After about 40 minutes, I called Grubhub. They told me the order had been delivered 40 minutes earlier . When I called Grubhub to complain that the order was cold they indicated there was nothing they could do. Do not order through Grubhub ! read more

The food is absolutely delicious, the people amazingly welcoming; everything is pristine and clean, the portions abundant; I have tried almost everything on the menu...and I think it is all outstanding. I have enjoyed and even cooked plenty of Lebanese food over the years, but Martha's Restaurant deserves the highest rating possible for their food and friendliness. The spinach pies were the tastiest I've ever had. The tabouli delicious, and the grape leaves done to perfection. If I lived closer to this restaurant, I'd never cook again!! This is such a lovely family owned business. The staff were so kind and we loved chatting with the owner's son. The portions and freshness were both impeccable. Especially loved the salad dressings, the beautifully done medium rare lamb, the smooth hummus, and the lamb special with green beans. I love this place. Everything is always fresh, friendly service, prices decent and they always go the extra mile!!! I wish I lived closer. I ordered to dinners to go and let them know that I had a 45 minute ride home, I dont know if they always wrap this way but it was still piping hot when I got home! I mean piping!!! The food here is outstanding! Our party enjoyed wraps with chicken shawarma, lamb, and haddock, with baba ghanoush and spicy hummus. They were huge portions and everything was delicious. The service was very friendly and the owner even came out to discuss a custom order with another customer. The seating inside is limited, but there is outside seating available as well. We were surprised to see a Lebanese restaurant in the "backwoods" of New Hampshire and since we love Mediterranean cuisine we of course stopped for lunch. The staff was delighted to greet us newcomers and were very friendly. The stuffed grape leaves were sensational! We also had lamb kabobs and a kafta wrap. Both excellent and expertly seasoned. Ordered a large family style dinner for Mother's Day, and everyone was so impressed with the food. We had a little of everything. Tried Kafta for the first time- it was a hit. The walnut baklava was the best we've ever had and I lived in LA for 15 years where there's a Persian restaurant in every neighborhood. This one you could taste the rose water - gorgeous. Worked with George who was so patient in helping me determine how much to get to make sure everyone with all their preferences would have enough while sharing. Prices are so reasonable. Amazing food and amazing customer service. Everything was great and the owner was awesome... there was so much my friend and I wanted to try and he accommodated our every craving! Steak Kabobs were high quality and we had chicken Shawarma and Fattoush and stuffed grape leaves and cabbage, tabbouleh and hummus... the Meghli Rice Pudding was like love and comfort in a bowl and he even surprised us with some tasty fresh dates at the end of our meal! I feel like the reviews are skewed because of where we are. The people are nice and the food is fresh so you have that. We ordered a few wraps (kafta and falafel) with a cabbage platter. The salad that came in both wraps and as a side was fresh and crisp. The wrap was all pita and not enough protein or any sauce to moisten it. Not sure if I suppose to ask for hummus, tahini or baba ganoush? The cabbage rolls was tasty and the rice pilaf was good but again it was missing something. It was all rice (in the rolls and the pilaf) and veggies. Little meat in the dish. And, no side hummus or any sauce from the cabbage rolls so it was a bit dry. I have been to Martha's a handful of times and while it was always good, tonight I ordered the Chicken Shawarma dinner with rice and hummus and my mind was BLOWN. I think I have a new obsession.
