I can't speak to the ambiance as I only ordered from the outside window. I ordered the chicken kabob wrap with feta and tzatziki, and spicy tahini on the side. The chicken was well-seasoned and tasted amazing, definitely worth going out of the way for! I asked for the feta & tzatziki inside the wrap, not as a side so I was surprised to be charged $4 more for it since it wasn't a significant amount, like the spicy tahini inside the container. But I'd still come back and order from them. You can see in the photos some are OLD, dried out, SOUR, and don't even qualify as a garnish. To top it off, I found the top of the salad dressing bottle in my side of dressing, which wasn't even full. I guess the dressing is also not homemade. We won't be returning. Sad state of affairs here.

And it seems I wasn't the only one who discovered this hidden gem. When we got here, the spot was packed inside. Despite this we ordered three different items for a sit-down experience, and still received everything within 25 minutes. I ordered the lamb shawarma wrap on one occasion, and it was love at first bite. The wrap itself was toasted to a perfect brown crisp on the outside, yet retaining softness underneath, where it encapsulated the ranch-like sauce where it mixed with the sliced lettuce, carrots, onions and tomatoes to give it a well rounded, mixed, creamy flavor of the vegetables. The lamb meat itself was the primary vehicle of salt and spice (with emphasis on the garlic), yet never being dry. All this being considered, the wrap never fell apart, and held together the entire journey. I made the mistake of ordering the lamp wrap my first go here, because the next occasion I came here, I got the chicken shawarma bowl. Although the rice, sauce, chicken and vegetables all inherited the same flavor profile as the wrap, the bowl fell wildly below my expectations as it was impossible to get a truly full bite of every single thing utilizing a small fork. Nonetheless, this is truly the spot for a reliable bite that emulates a small taste of the Middle East.

When I checked yelp, it had really good reviews too, so it was worth the try. I was really impressed with the ordering experience. They knew what they were doing. And if this obviously wasn't their first place. Although the chicken Shawarma was hanging and could be cut at any time dripping with juices, they actually had a container full already cut chicken Shawarma. Looks really, really juicy fresh and yummy. So we would pass on Shwarma next time. Too bad. For the dinners, two shows chicken Shawarma one chose halloumi salad, and one chose falafel plate. For the sides, we tried the hummus, vermicelli, rice, regular potatoes, spicy potatoes, Fattoush salad, and all looked really good. The atmosphere looks to be the type that I wouldn't really want to sit and have a romantic dinner at, but it does have a nice bar on the side, and there were a few people sitting and enjoying the trick with their food. We got takeout. The chicken Shawarma was pretty dry, and could have used a little bit more spice. We got the garlic aïoli on the side, and it matched it well. The hummus is excellent consistency, but needs a bit more spice also. Perhaps some of the dry spice they sell in the store. The halloumi on top of the salad is excellent. Really excellent. We drove a half hour to get home, so the halloumi was no longer warm, but that's expected. The salad under the halloumi, was really good. Very fresh, a bit different with the mandarin oranges, raisins, and slivered, almonds, and it all went well together. The dressing that comes with it, is the fig, balsamic vinaigrette, and that tasted just like a bottled fig balsamic glaze. It's the sticky very strong taste, and it was perfect on the salad and the cheese. Tabouli was great taste and yummy. So fresh. Disappointed in the pita, wish they were cooked in house. Cookies for dessert were pretty amazing. Homemade in house and they tasted it, and though they were kind of pricey, we would probably get them again. We really liked this place. 4 stars because of the dry shwarma.

Steak Kabob Wrap: I ordered the medium well, and it was noticeably overcooked. My colleague who ordered the medium also well agreed But regardless, the freshly grilled steak was still quite aromatic. Markouk flatbreads are grilled daily, thin, smooth, and chewy, much better than pita or lavash in my first impression. Chicken Kabob Wrap: Their signature dish. The chicken breast was still juicy. The owner is very familiar with the whale watching boat schedule and will tell you if you have time to eat before boarding. It has a 4.9 rating on Google Maps, but the food isn't nearly as good as it seems; after all, it's just a wrap, and it probably benefits from the whale watching reputation.

It's a middle eastern restaurant primarily serves shawarma and other middle eastern cuisines. It's located next to a college building. Parkings are street only. Once we parked on the street we walked over to the restaurant. Inside is spacious pretty clean and there are quite a bit of tables and chairs. We went up to the counter to place orders. I got mixed shawarma plate and baklava. I wanted to try their mango lassi but they were out. The shawarma plate came with choice of rice or mujadara which is a lentil mixed with other vegetables. I got rice with it and it comes with chicken and beef shawarma, rice, salad, pita bread, hummus, garlic sauce and baba ghanoush. The salad, rice, pita bread, and shawarma were ok. Shawarma may have been better if it was earlier during the day as they would be fresher. The stars of the show were the sauces. Hummus, baba ghanoush and garlic sauce were all excellent. Mixing the sauce elevated the shawarma to the next level. Baklava was delicious as well. Not too sweet and that nutty flavor comes out strong. Service was good and staffs were friendly. The dish came out within about 10 minutes or so Overall it's a pretty good shawarma spot. If i were to come back i would see if they would allow substitution with salad for more rice and sauces on top instead of side so that i can have more rice and meat. I've had better quality shawarma but sauces were excellent.
